Preciousgirl: It's hard for me but I will confess here. My colleague of course male colleague playfully held my waist at the workplace and I got aroused. I have never had feelings for him though. I was a little wet. Have I cheated? Should I confess this to my husband? What really happened since I don't have feelings for the guy? Could that me juju at work? You did very wrong but you don't need to confess to your husband since he is not aware. It's out of respect and it's not a sin. Its not everything you confess to a human being but you can confess to a man. Pray to God and ask for forgiveness and don't do it again. If you tell your husband, suspicion sets in forever. |
Politics › Re: Labour Party: Abure’s Tenure Has Expired — Court, INEC by TheAdvocate(m): 12:49pm On Aug 16, 2025 |
seunmsg: As usual, the press is trying to misrepresent the court judgement. The high court struck out the matter in-line with the Judgement of the Supreme Court that clearly states that courts lack the jurisdiction to entertain issues relating to the internal affairs of Political Parties and nothing else.
Even though INEC filed an affidavit claiming Abure’s tenure has expired, the commission also clearly stated that the party has no recognized national chairman and Secretary that the commission can relate with. By implication, INEC has not recognized both Abure and Nenadi Usman. Exactly. I was in court because I have a matter before Justice Liman and that's what he said. Meanwhile a High Court in Nasarawa recognized Abure in a judgment dated 25th July 2025 which judgment was submitted to INEC. I have a copy of the judgment. On INEC platform, they recognised Abure as LP chairman till today. It was the basis of the Nasarawa Court ruling that INEC uploaded the details of LP candidates for FCT elections which they refused to upload before now. Justice Liman acted in error because his court is a court of equal coordinate jurisdiction with the State High Court so he couldn't have make a different pronouncement. That would have amounted to judicial rascality. |

I recall a private school my son used to attend in Jos about 6 years ago. During one of the PTA meetings, we were about to close the meeting when a Muslim parent asked why we do Christian prayers to open and Christian prayers to close the meetings always. The School Administrator said that's what they want and the Muslim parent can pray his own prayer in his mind.😁 The Muslim parents were less than 3 in the entire school of more than 300 or more parents. |

That's the nonsense spirit of entitlement of our politicians. So Oshiomhole went to Enugu, and he wants the state government to use taxpayers' money to fuel cars and provide security for him because he was a former governor.
The government of Edo pays him a pension, and he receives a salary from the Senate. As a former governor, the Edo state government changes his cars for him and provides security and the Senate also provides a car and security for him.
Very soon, the masses will lynch corrupt politicians and leaders one after the other. Very corrupt people. |

U May hate Akpabio but the person not following court order now is Natasha. Court wanted u to do the needful so as to resume but u want to be smarter than others The fine of ₦5 million is not a condition precedent to her resumption, more so that she had appealed that portion of the judgment. I expect her, however, to pay the fine while she pursues her appeal, thereby countering the Senate. If she wins on appeal, she gets her ₦5 million back. This is legal and common sense. |

They can't modify the judgment of the court. The payment of ₦5 million for civil contempt and apology to the Senate President is not a condition precedent to her resumption in the Senate.
The apology is also not for what transpired in the Senate but for the satirical post she made on Facebook after the judge gave an order for parties not to speak on the issue again. |

Iceking1: Hello, someone gave me a number to call that it's the CRU unit of the police. I called a delta state CRU unit and he asked me to go to the station and call him when I get there. But I confided in a friend to follow me and he said the police that extorted me would deny me, argue they've never seen or met me or seen my car ever before. He said because I didn't transferred any money into their account but used a POS to withdraw the cash I used in setting them. Also, they might detain me or the person I called and talk to on the phone would not pick my call anymore when it's time as I do not know him directly, I would have been at the station already, I'm so scared to go. Please what do you suggest, please reply please. The police will deny you and the CRU guy will not be able to help further. I suggest you let it go but be careful to have your phone recorder on anytime the police stops you. This way, you can record the audio conversation with them and the POS guy. The audio recorder always pause when there is no ongoing conversation. |

Politics › Re: Cybercrimes Act Now In Force: FG Issues Strong Warnings To Internet Users by TheAdvocate(m): 11:22am On Jul 07, 2025 |
I am a lawyer and this is my candid opinion on the Cybercrimes Act 2015. Firstly, the law has been in force since May 2015 when it was signed into law by President Goodluck. The act of bringing a law into force is the signing of it into law or assent by the National Assembly where the President withheld his consent. That being the fact, the law has been in force for about 10 years now. There is no other procedure for bringing a law into force other than its being signed into law. Additionally, the Cybercrimes Act 2015 does not contain specific provisions that impose vicarious criminal liability on WhatsApp group admins for content posted by members. For an admin to be held liable, there must be evidence of common intention, a pre-arranged plan, or active participation in the offending act.
It should be noted that a WhatsApp group admin has limited powers and it's primarily to add or remove members and with recent updates, delete messages within a certain timeframe. However, they cannot pre-moderate or censor content before it is posted. The expectation of admins to have advanced knowledge of members’ actions is unreasonable and not tenable in law. The Act does not classify WhatsApp group admins as “intermediaries” (unlike platform providers like WhatsApp itself) as they do not store, transmit, or provide services on behalf of others in the same way a platform does. While the Cybercrimes Act does not explicitly hold admins liable for members’ posts, admins should exercise caution to avoid potential legal risks. |
