A police friend of mine sold his own few weeks ago at N680,000 and went to buy a Volkswagen car & they told him N1.5 million. He is now begging those he sold his own to, to allow him buy it back at a higher amount but they refused.
I bought mine in Kano 8 years ago at N540,000, used it for 5 years and sold at N800,000. Mine is a Kompressor. It's a tough & sturdy car.

Thank God you didn't mentioned Mercedes Benz. He needs at least N 3 million & above to get a good Nigerian used benz.

I bought a 2003 Mercedes Benz E320 V6 also known as W211 in the 2020 during Covid-19 lockdown at the cost of N3 million & pimped its rims from 16 to 17 for more clearance & painted the roof to black. Fast forwarded to this year 2024, the car cost higher than N3 million.

Your comment is true but know that our current economy doesn't allow us to reap the benefits of this depreciation, take for instance the smartphone industry, let's use the iPhone 11(all variants of it) as an example, Do u know that it still sells for the the same price with some variants selling higher than the price it initially debuted with? When it released, I think it was in the region of 300 and something thousand(that was in 2019) currently, it still sells at that price or even higher. This doesn't mean I'm in support of the car price listed here though, it seems a little bit steep to me(although I don't know much about the price of cars)

If your registration is not Autoreg, it will not show. My vehicle was done in Lagos using Autoreg. In Jos, Plateau state, we don't have Autoreg and therefore it will not show. I have done 3 registrations now and it's valid.
