mama-gee, now you have another pic on your profile saying its you. na wa oooo.
the other pic you had with the girl posing wearing black leggings, and the one with the girl and the pink shirt and make-up looked like the same girl.
this pic now is a TOTALLY DIFFERENT GIRL!!!
so are you saying that's you?
by the way you post, i can't believe that you are even over 14, maybe 13 years old.
not tryna be rude, but thats how it seems.
so i can't believe the girl in the pic is you, and since you had pics of another girl also claiming that to be you.
mama-gee you no well oooo.

@THE.AMAKA

I am sad to hear that I come of as defensive. If you are correct that the girls that I have seen so far are actually also ignoring  me, then I am in trouble. Because if such unattractive girls can ignore me, then I have no hope of getting the "queen of my dreams." And the "queen of my dreams" is not even outlandish.
okay, whatever.

Are you daft, or something? Dem use mumu take swear for you? Shey ko n she pe nkan mi n ba e ja? How many times will I have to say I don't give a bleep about whether or not you think I am "all that?"  And I don't want the best of the best. Now I see what commonsense people go through on NL. I have said I want an attractive girl that reminds me of back home, while having a little perspective and insight on serious issues. Is that too much to ask for? Is is your eyes or your brains that missed my constant reiterations in the past few posts.

And yes, you may be right that some girls may want to look past me because I don't meet their criteria. Fair enough. But the problem is, I have not even met such girls, "talkless" of being rejected by them. If it is those babes that I find unattractive that are rejecting me, then my life is finished!!!!!!!!

And I am not venting my anger on 9ja babes because of my situation. It just pisses me off when u guys bring your usual shallow nairaland balderdash to an issue I take serious.
you are obviously the one that's daft if you don't get what im saying.
YOU DONT HAVE TO CARE ABOUT MY OPINION, IM JUST LETTING YOU KNOW! all this screaming "i dont care blah blah" okay, YOU DONT CARE, WE GET IT, SO STOP ACTING LIKE YOU DO!
anyway, like i said the reason why you are looking past girls because of the beauty & brains they don't have may be the same reason why girls look past you.
so the next time you go about thinking there are "no good girls left" ask yourself this question. is the problem that i cant find any girls? or is the problem me? or maybe. . . are they all out of my league?
you seem to be a little too defensive. looking at your title and your initial post, you know what you mean when starting this.
anyway. . . i have said me piece, take it or leave it.

after all this is being said and done, WHAT THE FUK IS THE POINT OF THIS THREAD?! IM LOST HERE. huh
did you open this for moral support because it seems you already started this thread with all your "questions" being answered. i don't get it.
then you wanna start shouting when someone wants to give you their piece.
really? wow. . .

excuse me? wtf are you on about? i'm really shocked by your words actually.
but no i didnt not say i believed in the man taking up 90% of the finances. so i think you should stop generalizing all women. i believe in working for my own and not depending on a man, therefore i will put in my share of the bills too.
you really need to chill, your sexism is out of this world.

we are no longer in the days before the Enlightenment, get over it.
women are free to do what they want. if you want a 17th century woman, that is your own business. let others do what they want. this is no longer the days of "you cook, clean, do what i want, serve me" type of ish. okay?
some people need to chill.

@THE.AMAKA

you are probably right. I don't think I have swag, although most of my colleagues think I do. And as for the look in the mirror part, funny enough, I do too frequently, and trust me, more often than not, I LOVE what I see. I will never give up my slender, boyish, local looks to be any other man in the world. My presumption is that most you ladies here find it hard to be believe that I am so comfortable in my own skin. And maybe it was probably wrong to generalize 9ja babes as worwor. It was a slight of the mouth-and I have those quite often. grin grin grin grin grin

But that does not derail from the point that I have not  been GENUINELY attracted to any 9ja girl's person since I came here I guess we can say "person" includes such stuff as brains, beauty, personality, charm etc. (The whole package, if you get the idea). I do not think I am asking for WAY too much.
that's not my point. you may be confident but that doesn't mean shizz!! the same reasons why you refuse to approach some girls might be the same reasons they dont approach you. i think you need to think about that.
cause the way you are yabbing here you want the best of the best. you aren't even all that yourself (real talk), so what are you expecting? im not saying you should stop your search but you seem to want to insult all the naija girls that youve come across just because you havent been able to find the "right one"
they may have your same requirements and look past you because of that.

i agree with the second part of number 3. they are one of those americanized naija artists. the ones that are from naija but try too hard to be americanized in their music to the point where its not even authentic naija music anymore. sounds like some washed out crap.

Its funny how 9ja babes like chiogo can easily get on the defensive and play the feminist card whenever they see a topic like this. If you think a little deeply about the course the thread has thread (no pun  intended), you will see that the title is misleading, and the crux of the matter is a dearth, in my area, of girls like back home. Except this time, I will appreciate a little perspective and insight into issues along with the nigerianness and attractiveness. I know normally a girl does not have to be attractive to be a person's friend, but I must pay due cognizance to my own reality as I consider this issue.  And my reality is that being shy person, i come out of my shell for guys who have similar tastes to me like love for soccer, a little perspective and insight into serious issues, a good vision for a good life and a good career etc. Since very few girls like soccer, or discuss serious issues -without letting them degenerate into gossips and carping-I will usually overcome my shyness for an attractive girl, with a tinge of "localness" and a a little perspective and insight into serious issues.

I have mentioned "a little perspective and insight into serious issues" 3 times. That should tell someone that is as much a priority as physical beauty.
do you not hear yourself?!?!?! you said you want a beautiful girl with brains, but have you ever thought about yourself? you are the one saying that we shouldn't be so judgmental on you because we know you aren't "will smith blah blah" but then you wanna be judgmental when you see a girl that isn't so fine or she may lack brains. if a girl is "wor wor" you wont approach her. have you looked in the mirror lately? that may be the same reason why girls with your "requirements" don't approach you. so i think you are playing one-sided here.
you're probably lacking a lot of swag.

YESS!! this is really sad. it personally hasn't happened to me but i know how the customs work, and parents listen to other adults. im sorry but too many nigerian women (adults/mothers) are gossipers! they go around talking about everyone to everyone. sometimes they can even be spreading lies. instead of the parent to hear the child out, they start ranting all over the place. its really sad how people trust and believe perfect strangers than their own children. i really dont understand this and i think i never will.
hopefully that will bump out with that generation and people will learn that communication is key.

londoner:
Some Nigerian parents dont listen to their children because they think they know it all, and can never be wrong.

I dont think its just Nigerians though. Even when you speak up, you are considered rude.
