Mr okaforj: It is all about time and chance. If you have time and money to enroll for the program or maybe go for a master course then do it. Otherwise use the qualification you have at hand to seek Job.Thank you sir |
Please, i really need advise here I'm a youth corper, and would soon be through with NYSC, i made a 2.1 but have no additional qualification. My mates are compelling me into registering for NIM and some others suggested i wait till i get a job. That getting a job would afford me ideas on the professional certificate that would be relevant to my job. My question is, do i really stand a chance in the labour market given the fact that i do not have an addition qualification that might help in boosting my CV? |
You are good at writing Lola, but please go and finish the campus blue. You know the drive in reading your works on NL would diminish cos people will feel you'll leave them half way again. However, i believe you will make good money from writing. All you need is just a very good editor and a nice publisher. Believe, the sky would be you begining. |
mrkels: why una dey laff the girl na shuo ,una no get sense? Many of you people laughing came out with a 2.2 o, its okay for you but for another person its failureBros i believe you graduated from UNIBEN Back to topic, OP, tell your friend t☺ write the next JAMB, no time is too for education. 1.48 CGPA is a very poor one i must tell you. Despite the fact that i played a lot in school, i even missed some lectures cos of my interest in chess game, i still narrowly missed a first. And i must tell you, the excuse of having sadists as lecturers ain't reasonable. She should use this as a lesson, graduating with a pass now is far worse than graduating with a 2.1 or 2.2 say in four or five years time. |
Lola you're simply the best, i don't think there is better writer one NL. Keep up the goodwork. But please don't keep us waiting na |

This issue ain't what should be taken lightly. Op you need to really try and find out the reason why she got divorced in the first place. I presume you've already accepted whatever she must have told you is the cause of her breakup with her ex-husband. Please try and research the cause yourself. Who knows, her character might be the reason. I don't have anything against marrying a divorcee or a single mother but you need to take your time, study her. As for your parents, i don't think they'll be much of a problem. Once they know that she won't be a problem to you, trust me, they would give you their blessings. So poster, the problem here is not her being a divorcee, the real wahala is when she's not whom you think she is. Thanks |

Well, i agree with the notion that Edo guys are good looking and elegant. But, if i were a lady, i'll not even consider dating them let alone getting married to them. This is because most of them are just so dumb and vain. You can't have a reasonable conversation with an edo man about women. They believe all the women need from them is their looks. Their sense of reasoning is so low. I'm very sorry if i sound rather harsh. |
I don't know why this thread is even created, and i keep wondering why the 2.2 graduates are always the ones creating threads on how they're better than 2.1. I can feel some level of inferiority in them. Please invest your time on something more productive. Wallowing in sorrow and looking for people t☺ pity you cos of the grade you made won't help. Always see yourself as a winner. Being a graduate is the first step, don't limit yourself in any way. I believe you tried your best but could not make the grade you envisaged. Just pray hard, stop blaming the 2.1 and 1st class graduates. Wish you goodluck. |
jethro2: True english is not our mothers language but its our official language so i think its good if we learn to speak or write correct english. Its obvious most of the commentators on this thread can not composed or write correct english sentences. This is not peculiar to girls alone but to all. It has become a norm. I would rather you write or speaks your tribal lannguage and pidgin english than incorrect english. Check your write ups several times before posting. The mistakes can be minimised but dont based it on the fact that its not your mothers tongue. Improve and work on yourself daily. Its not a crime if you cant speak or write correctly but it diminish your image and belittle your person especially when you claim to pass through school. What differentiates you from an illiterate? And for those that keeps bashing each other, please learn to reason with other peoples opinion. Thats the spice of life Bros did you actually g☺ through this your write up? So much for someone who knows how to construct good sentences |
This is a very serious issue o, i boarded a cab with a female corper late last year, myself being a corper too, we exchanged pleasantries and commenced discussion which lasted till the time i got to my destination. Having overlooked several blunders from her, she made an unpardonable one which made other passengers turned t☺ look at her, i immediately gave her space ni o, cos we were putting on our otondo uniform. This my beautiful corper wanted t☺ tell me she's married noni o, she said and i quote "I AM A MARITAL STATUS". Initially i thought it was an error, not until she said it the second time. I could not help but t☺ give her space ni o, cos i nor fit shout. |
I think she doesn't wanna accept your marriage proposal cos she believes doing that would mean getting t☺ stick t☺ a man. I'm suspecting that she has another guy who's is assisting you in servicing her. Perhaps, she's avoiding the guilt that follows being taunted as an adulterous woman. So my guy, my advice is for you t☺ look for a woman who is willing and ready to accept you as Husband. |
Ninilowo: Kola Olawuyi did when alive but no one to carry on since his demise.Lol i just could not help it but t☺ laugh when i saw this. Egbon Kola Olawuyi was mainly into investigating witches ordeal rather than real crime. Anyway sha, i don't think there's anything like investigative journalism in nigeria. Nigeria journalists are too dull for that na they'll end up acusing the wrong person and draw false conclusions. |
Please, i really need help here, as a fresh graduate, how do i post my cv t☺ chevron? |

Abegi make una leave that thing, she can still make a 2.2 if she's willing, she's in her final year right? Truth is depending on the school she could increase that cgpa drastically,in my time my final year percentage was 40% and I got a 4.92 and that amazingly allowed me to get sometin good out of the university,if not for that final year , I no sure say I for even dey nairaland now self, so my dear, u got 1 last chance to make it right, at least so it would enter a 2.2, even if you come out with a third class don't worry, delta state goverenment was ruled for 8yrs by a thirdclass person, u r a lady, yu won't have any problems, if u were a guy then there's gonna be some although it does not follow! Just do your thing, leave school and come into the real world where amazing things happen everyday, a real world where people without certificates who can't spell their lastname would beat a first class guy to the job
