Do you even know the meaning of majority? Take this thread as a small sample, how many Obidients were paid to support Obi here?
This would be a good place to start.

heck no, you're wrong. Point made is very valid. Majority of those who jumped on the Peter Obi train, were paid to do so.

Now you tell me of what right have these individuals who collect money to start calling people, corrupt? These are the type of people who will do worse if they ever get to political office.
If it's the influencers you're referring to, I can't say for certain if majority of them got paid to promote Peter Obi, but so far, there's not much proof of known LP political influencers getting paid to promote PO. The one that was outed was an LP influencer that was getting paid to promote the PDP candidate.

Almost two months ago, I went on and on exposing how fraudulent Aisha Yesufu is, her antics, and how she's been riding the Peter Obi wave and posturing to pilfer money for herself.

A number of persons - TheFlint1 chief of them - disputed it and countered calling me a hater.

Today, she's trending on Twitter as "Hushmummy" with FS Yusufu, a staunch Obidient, exposing her and reiterating the same points I made about her on this thread about two months ago.

Shelve emotionality and you'd see people for who they really are. smiley

You're late to the party, the entire thing was shown to be a pained adult throwing tantrums at being outed. Aisha Yesufu was hardly the focus of the attack, the trolling is on brand for cornvicts, moot point.

He's been caught in a fix and he's obviously, very obviously latching on to anything to save face. 😂

His chats were literally posted, and if he had something on the other Obidients, he'd have released it. He knows if he calls any 'big account' Obidient, they can easily disprove him and call his bullshit out.

He posted since 8 in the morning. It's 4 p.m. now, yet he still never drop names?

You don kuku talk say na agenda you wan run, so I'll let you have that, because I know you genuinely know that that guy is just capping.

Mind you, I understand where he is coming from o, on the DM being leaked. That must have really felt like a huge blow of betrayal, but WHY THE FUÇK is he dragging Obidients into it? Na Harry expose am; he leave Harry alone come dey talk say, 'ehn. Na only of us chop money.' Shebi everyone knows everyone. He should call them out. All these ones are merely baseless accusations.

He lacks emotional intelligence, I swear.
Exactly, the Harry guy exposing him was quite unnecessary and low, but FS Yusuf didn't have to go down that road with him, especially since he didn't have enough to raise dust. He's made himself useless to the Obidient movement, and shown he can't be of much use to opposition parties given his blank shots. I'd wager an apology would come from him in the coming days/weeks.

FS Yusuf na PDP jobber before, the Obidient thing was an opportunity for him to grow social capital and he latched on it, so not really surprised he's hustling, and there's no big deal with him selling his influence, a lot of them do that.

Who is lying in this saga..??,

Evidence yakpa
Evidence actually dey scant, especially from Yusuf end. So far, what's been confirmed is that Yusuf collected money for mobilization from PDP, came online to spit sprispri about Edo Central being marginalized, that's why he's supporting AI and not the LP candidate, some other Obidient released personal chats showing he was already on the AI train before primaries and had even collected mobilization money to cement his support.

The only thing Yusuf released was personal chats with Serah Ibrahim showing Abure bought properties, the chats had nothing to do with the persons that outed him, but he keeps claiming he's exposing them...smells like either a paid hatchet job, or an adult that can't swallow his L like a man.

The annoying thing in all this is that AI had good PR before all of this, but with all of this nonsense, neutrals and fencists are likely to go ultra for the Akpata guy.

Bro month’y rent is nonsense

That yearly is the best, cos it allows tenants to plan and save their rents in their own convenient way. It allows a tenant to breath. Why should anybody be paying rents every month? Do you know how quickly a month exhausts?

Youll think that money is small when piecesed monthly...but it irritates to keep paying anf paying all the time. Why not pay once and rest?
I think it's just conditioning sha, cause practically every bill...data, fuel, food, and house bills are paid monthly. We're just used to paying rent yearly, but doesn't mean we can't adjust if it becomes a requirement.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Theflint1(m): 9:40pm On Mar 04
Ibime:

If rent is monthly instead of yearly, rent prices will go up, that one sure.

Because the yearly rents factor in that people done blow money throughout the year and don't have much affordability left, while it is easier to plan a higher amount for monthly. Also yearly rent is not relative to the yield one would expect from a property investment, while monthly will lift it closer to a reasonable yield. I done see house wey be N80m and people paying N1m yearly rent. That's useless yield. If it was monthly, you go ask the tenant for like N200k per month, make your yield balance small
Of course, there'd most likely have to be an increase in payments per month if rent becomes a monthly thing, and maybe for persons looking to pay bulk (say a year), they can negotiate price down.

How comfortable is yearly payment? It works for people who either make way more than their rent or those who get upfront payment at work like Bankers. Without the upfront many of them cant afford to pay that yearly amount.

If your monthly expenses are over 60-70% of your income how do you save up 1yr or 2yrs rent

In this economy which every spare money is getting stretched its even more difficult otherwise people will just start defaulting
For a lot of persons, I'm sure they'd prefer that monthly payment plan.

For this Lagos? grin

Even me wey my Landlord na pastor sef, I'm sure he won't comply with the monthly payment. Just watch how ur fellow house seeker go dey yearly rent beg landlord while u are insisting on monthly payment.
I dunno sha, but I think if it's marketed right, even the landlords will see how it benefits them. For example all those ones wey tenants go stay 6 months or up to a year without paying rent go dey less common, plus it benefits the entire real estate space, as there's incentive for landlords to keep their properties in top shape...fit still lead to increase in rent overall sha, but I think I want that option of paying rents monthly. Like my current rent now, I've been paying in installments like two months before it's due, and will spread the payment to like a month after due date...if I see option for monthly, I for grab am straight.

Omoh, I prefer yearly rent to monthly rent oh

Pay for 2 years and rest.

In a country like Nigeria, the tenants will be the biggest losers if this monthly stuff sees the light of day
I'm sure landlords won't reject yearly payment for rent, those that want to pay yearly can pay yearly, and those that prefer monthly payments, they can make their payments monthly. Make options just dey, instead of restricting people to yearly only payments.

When dollar was rising, prices were rising everyday with it. People were just adjusting prices according to dollar rates on their old stocks, might not be everyone, but it was being done.

Now nobody is readjusting their price, everyone is claiming they bought when dollar was high.

But I guarantee you if dollar hits 2000 today, by tomorrow morning, prices would have doubled again and it won't be on new goods.
Some businesses are readjusting prices.

Okay

For sole proprietorship, it is insensitive

Then for Access and Public Limiteds, it's not.

Is this your point?
A sole proprietorship can afford to close shop because it closing shop is way less disastrous to it's customers than it would be for an Access or any other PLC.

Why is it different?

A man and his family dies today, and then his salesgirl opens up the very next morning for business

This is not insensitive to you?
Are you comparing a sole-proprietorship to Access Bank?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Theflint1(m): 5:45pm On Mar 03
BlueRayDick:

Access cannot close its business for a day because the law expects them to serve their customers whose businesses will be impacted by their closure on a weekday that is not a public holiday .

The church on the other hand is not governed by any law that says such ; neither will the pastor's wife birthday cancellation/postponement harm anybody's business .

Wigwe was a pastor in the same church ; that should count for something at least.

U know what u are doing here is false equivalence . The pastor and his family messed up and that explains why the Wigwe family excluded them from the funeral plans . Not even service of songs ; they just treated them like strangers and fixed every Lagos program to be held at Eko Hotels

The funny thing is so many people whose faith were shaking before now have bee provided a reason to give up on the faith with the pastor and his wife's act .
I expect the church to stay open cause it serves a purpose that's bigger than Wigwe or any of the stakeholders of the church, same way Access Bank does, but going ahead with the birthday is quite personal. Although one might consider expenses and bookings that have been made ahead of the birthday...will they start making losses on all of that?

Las Las everybody don do the one wey dey in their self-interest, it's what it is.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Theflint1(m): 5:41pm On Mar 03

We can still say the exact same for City of David.

If Access decides to close its doors for one day, just to honour Wigwe, everyone, including the customers will understand.

I mean, the CEO, wife and child just died yesterday....

But No, they acted like the guy never existed. And then we want to kill the Pastor's wife for celebrating her birthday, days after.

Ahn Ahn. Let us be fair naa..

Maybe if the Pastor's daughter was getting married days after, they will cancel the wedding too.
Opening up for business the very next day is quite different from an individual (a major stakeholder) in the church going ahead with a part days after Wigwe died. I'm sure any of Wigwes fellow majority stakeholders at Access that had a good relationship with Wigwe would likely not have gone ahead with a party days after Wigwes death.

It may come back to the old essential vs luxury.

Cable TV is a luxury but telecommunications may as well be a human right at this point. And the telcos can get by on volume.
So in essence, spend more on marketing.

A better comparison will be this against MTNs enterprise service offerings and not the general data we use on our phones.

For 400k and monthly fee of 100-150k, MTN will give you a 2MB unlimited service. You can use and download as much as you want. There is no cap on the data itself but the utilisation is capped at 2MB.

A radio is installed at your house/office with frequencies specific to MTN network which means there will be no interference.

Starlink has a latency of about 38ms which is actually not bad.

However, some of these radios can give you average latency of 1-5ms. No way starlink can beat the speeds you get from MTN.

I remember reading somewhere that NCC is preventing telcos from increasing price. I don't know how they are able to do that or if its even true seeing as they can't prevent DSTV from doing the same.
I've heard some fair reviews on MTNs enterprise data offering, but considering you're paying like 100-150k per month compared to like 38k for starlink, STARLINK is by far the better deal, especially when you consider that the average user hardly has needs for data use beyond certain speeds, anything more is essentially an overkill.
