A colleague just bought one of these used 09 accords and from what I have deduced within a week of using it, precious owner didn’t maintain it well. Within a week, car has visited mechanic’s shop at least twice. As we type, car is at mechanic’s shop. I heard it jacks or something like that.

The issue with these cars is, they need recommended oil and caution when maintaining them. No shortcut. Whoever rushes to sell such cars at drastically low prices is obviously trying to hide something or just get the car off at any cost. Half bread as they say is better than none, right?

So when you see a new car being sold off at odd prices, just watch out. Owner may have done an irreparable damage to the car

@Op, kindly renew the license and drive with confidence, not watching your back or avoiding routes with officers. The thing is, the devil works in mysterious ways. You may not have used the license or vehicle papers in the duration it takes to expire but the confidence you have when driving is really second to none because you know you have nothing to worry about. If at all you get stopped by police or FRSC, you are good to go. Do you realize the way they ask for money when your papers are complete is different from the way they ask for money when your papers are incomplete? One is asking/begging politely, the other is pure extortion. You have a choice to decline with one, the other, you have no choice other than seriously beg and be delayed, if at all your begging works.

Just follow the honourable route and renew your papers, and driver’s license even if you feel you don’t need it. My 2cents

Apple makes fine devices. Very fine devices. I use the 6s plus and it is a very fine device, I tell you. I am thinking of upgrading to either the 8 or the X now though I'm a little disappointed design of 8 is basically same with old but what can man do?
If you want MacBook but due to port issue you mentioned, get the MB Pro. They are almost same price and one has better connectivity options. the air has a long overdue design so I will gladly pass. Meanwhile some people are still getting air in 2017 and no complaints from them.
I think we should know that Apple makes devices that cater to a particular set of people. If their options don't flow With you, just look away. The same way I look away when I see Samsung phones. No matter how pretty a Samsung phone is, they will release or announce another very similar design in a few weeks, that's crap to me. Too many series and confusion sets in, from low end to mid range to flagship.
Though, Apple is not blackberry, anything can happen but I want to believe Samsung' phone division will go down before apple's. there is an alternative to Samsung's android, no alternative to Apple's IOS

you were better off using sikkens clear lacquer, hardner, slow thinner and reducer. What you did was cover expensive paint with a substandard layer of lacquer, mixed in wrong proportions.

The best engine oil to use for your car is indicated in the manual.
The best gear oil to use is written on the gear rod/stick under the hood used to gauge. Just pull it out, clean it to clearly see what is written on it. Funny thing is, I opened this thread without knowing it was me that even created it.

Car in question is long sold off but served me well as I used dexron II bought from Total. My other camry uses type T-IV transmission oil which is what I stick to. U

It's high time Passat CC got discontinued anyway.

If you are actually genuinely interested in buying an s7, or any other mobile phone for that matter, you would head to google and find out the specs. What you can ask the seller is if anything is wrong with the phone, not what's the camera spec.
