Lesson learnt but it is not a new lesson. Never pay for a car without physically inspecting it. If it is not in your location, look away.
The ones you physically inspect are even problematic, not to talk of phone inspection. They were probably fixing the car before bringing to you in Lagos, hence the delay from the dubious people.
