Buyer is a nice guy, albeit inexperienced but nice. I hope you keep it up. Life happens. Seller was considerate enough to just ask buyer to add something though I suspect he too had something in mind, just did not want to impose but at the same time had minimum expectation.

On this Nairaland, you learn everyday. There are just some buyers you should never get close to. This one is not one of them, but the morons initially defending the dispute while it was on, please note them as those are the unfortunate ones to stay away from.

I didn't receive any SMS from him.. when I called him his item had arrived, 304k was sent and of which our previous agreement was 300k. See, all these arguments, the buyer is still naive ni. Those same soldiers and Police are the same that will end this argument, you all are on NL claiming rights. You, omniwhatever and the park will settle this thing. Even if the deal is to get to Ibadan, the buyer was not informed. The buyer only got a call from driver. The sender should have called the buyer when he/she was at the park to establish communication and confirm how this is being sent. Then lay the terms to the buyer. If he agrees to bear the risk, fine. If not, abort mission. But you all dropped it on him like bombshell and made the poor boy sleep at filling station while you both slept on your mattresses at home and now something happened, you are sending him to driver. The man was even gracious enough to pay you attention. You paid for home delivery, they should deliver the phone to your home as specified and charged.

Secondly, never do full payment till you get or inspect what you are buying. 370k now is hanging between 3 individuals who are pushing blames to one another. Get a police report and report the bank account you transferred to, lock the account until this dispute is finally resolved. They are crooked, unprofessional who don’t have any form of empathy.

Those army officers that called you to the side, told you the truth. Get them to help with @bdemix and @omicpet asking you silly questions. You have no business with the driver, moreover, he was robbed and involved in an accident. Your business is with @bdemix and @omicpet. Hold them responsible. Use those army officers well.
