Those dubious figures were offered by a politician with an ace to grind against the CBN. Moreover the politicians own banks and even people that own banks so the new notes around 30 millions per branch according to the CBN simply went straight under the politicians mattresses

Even with 30 million per branch do you think someone like Tinubu and Atiku who had budget over 500 billion each (5 to 10 billion per state) for vote buying will be able to get such huge amount back with the new naira note policy within short space of time?. Guy, Tinubu has been played to his game. There are top military generals who are orchestrating this policy from behind the scenes.

Keep ya mouth shut! The CBN mopped up over 3 trillion out of circulation and what it released into the economy was not even up to one quarter of what it took in. Now, where will politicians see cash equivalent to what they had before to rig the elections?
