@chisimdili1986 @offwego @Mattmich @Promoter2 @CowbellY Thank you all for your reply, I really appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.

I'm preparing my application for Uni of Greenwich and I checked their website and noticed they said their preferred method of paying tuition is through western union world pay.

For those who have paid tuition deposit or full tuition, please is it possible to pay it using via Form A ?

Also which of these two banks is best for Form in Nigeria, Firstbank or GTB and is it possible to use form A if you're outside Nigeria but have naira in your account, I mean is it done over the counter or online?

I'm sorry for too much questions but I would really appreciate an answer biko nu

Please can someone tell me if when applying for visa at the embassy, I need 3 months statement of 28 days like POF for CAS?
Travel / Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 7 by thelonehermit: 9:29am On Aug 03, 2022
Mattmich:
1. Form A is used to pay for Tuition but starting on time is an additional benefit
2. POF depends on the outstanding amount of tuition fee plus the living expenses. Please make sure you don't have exact amount, it's better to have surplus.

3. For lump sum, I have seen advices from advanced persons here stating " print from a day after the lump sum. (ie if you deposited the huge amount on 16th August, then print from 17th August).
Your POF should be 28 to 30 days old on the day of you VISA applications.

I stand to be corrected. I am just a student here

offwego:

@Mattmich @offwego thank you so much for taking out precious time to reply me, I really appreciate it a lot. You all are so kind and I already feel a sense of community here in this thread. Thanks so much.

Another thing,

I want to clarify if after showing POF (28 days maturity) to get CAS from Uni,

When I go to embassy for visa, do I also need 3 months statement of account? I know people usually need to explain large deposits, is it necessary if for example you have large sum in your closing statement that has been there for more than 1 month for example? Do I need to explain it's from savings from like 4 years of living abroad in a different country.

Also do any of you know anything about Uni of Greenwich, would you recommend it to someone you know or you have better Unis that are affordable (Masters in International Business, Entrepreneurship or HR) January 2023 intake.

I dey search already but all schools I've seen. so far are way above my budget my budget is anything less than 20k pounds. UCL, and King's College are way above my budget

Please is it possible to use Form A to pay for UK Uni tuition? if yes does anyone know the exchange rate?

Also if I pay full tuition for 1 year Msc, how much do I need to show for POF and what happens if God forbid I don't get the visa? the school will refund me abi? school in question is university of greenwich..

Also when showing POF for CAS do I need to explain large recent deposits? also for UK embassy is it 3 months statement of account or 1 month? I'm asking cos I will transfer a large deposit from my savings here to my Nigeria account which I plan to use for the visa application

Will really appreciate an answer

No, it doesn't but if you tick all your boxes, dot your Is and cross your Ts, you have a very high chance of approval and any errors can be addressed via AR.

Please what do you think about University of Greenwich? Tuition fee is affordable. Please is it a reputable school, I saw rankings but it's not among the top.

Please anyone that knows this school could you please tell me about this Uni

Thanks so much

Biko, don't marry because of UK student visa ties.
If required, you can state that upon the completion of your degree, you will be going back to Russia to rejoin your girlfriend to enable you start a family blah! blah! blah! as suited to your situation. Don't ever say that it is because there is no job as this can be miscontrued as your not wanting to leave the UK at the end of your course/PSW. You can even look at Nigeria to see if your degree will enable you to create a business that transverses Russia and Nigeria. Just be able to concisely state your reasons to show that you intend to leave at the end of your course if you get NSF emails.
Ahahaha we been don already dey together for many years, engaged already but na economy make us never marry so no be say na just visa wan make me marry biko kwa.

Also, please does University choice play a significant role in visa approval? For example if you get admitted to any of Oxbridge, is that already a sure banker for visa vs smaller Unis?

Thanks a lot for your insightful answers. Are you already in the UK or also a prospective student?

Yes, completing a one-year MSc will qualify you for PSW.
Easy is relative. Check Greenwich, Uni of East London, ARU London, Queen Mary University of London, Kings College London etc. Check the school's websites for their offerings and pick the one that closely matches your needs.

Most schools end January intake applications by November for int'l students so check with the schools as January should be open now.

I think you're better off applying in Russia where you live and probably earn but you should draw on all ties that you have there and in Naija in your application. If the organisation that you work with in Russia is happy to have you back after your course in the UK, state it and support with a letter authorising your study leave.

Thanks so much for your reply.

About ties, I just graduated this summer and because of the war and sanctions it's been difficult to find a good paying job.I do remote work as a web developer and also make money from my tenants in Nigeria.

Only tie I have to Russia is permanent residence which is equivalent to ILR in the UK. I'm not married yet but in a relationship, will marrying my girlfriend boost my chances? my gf is Russian.

Hello everyone, I wish you all a happy new month. I pray this month of August favours you all.

Please I just graduated from University in Russia.

Now I want to move to the UK for Masters.

I read that it's now possible to get 2 year postgrad visa after studies, I want to know if a one year Masters qualify me for this kind of visa.

My BSc was in International Business and management. please which course can I easily get admitted for Masters in UK? It's difficult to find cheap MBA, can I go for Master in HR or Psychology, or sports management, if yes could someone please tell me reputable universities in London with affordable tuition that offers such courses, I'm planning for January intake.

Is now a good time to start applying for January intake?

I have permanent resident permit of Russia but I don't have much ties there, are my chances better if I apply here in Russia or return to Nigeria. In Nigeria I have landed property (commercial house rented to tenants)

I will really appreciate a reply from you guys please

@bullstriker I see you are doing the Lord's work please don't ignore me
