Also you won't see this in your mycic account, it will be in your gcms note.

Honestly the process of Canadian study permit is not for the faint hearted as you have to adopt "Patience" as middle name during the process and waiting period. But i believe it's worth it at the end Osemigho: Your best Canadian option, if you have a great UK GPA, is PhD. That will take you about 1 year or more to complete the admission and visa process. Another masters or PGD might work, but you will have a lot of explaining and planning to do. If you are seeking a quick and easy route to study abroad, I believe UK is still your best option for now. Canada requires a lot of patience and planning. I am not sure you will be able or ready to do that since you're already eyeing and under pressure with UK. |

It can only be God indeed and He is too faithful to fail. Congratulations!!! Residentourist: Join me in celebrating God's faithfulness because what he cannot do indeed does not exist!!! SOWP and study visa applications approved same day!!!
My husband's SOWP and my 11year old son study permit got approved after the 3rd attempt. First attempt 2016 we all applied as a family and were all bounced on purpose of visit and home ties. After I got my study permit approved in June 2021 we reapplied on 11 July 2021 - visitors visa for hubby and study permit for kids Refused 29th September
Reapplied October 29 before the GCMS notes came because it was delayed. Medical for my husband November 15 ( my son had done his medicals earlier) Medical passed November 22 GCMS notes finally came in late November- December 2021 (applied for hubby and the kids and they all came at different dates, one even came in the middle of December) GCMS notes showed the VO was concerned about the cost implications of running 2 homes and home ties. Luckily all those concerns had been adequately tackled in the SOP during reapplication. In the course of waiting a friend who had also applied for study permit for her kids decided to try out the new IRCC portal and got her kids visitor visa approved in 7days so we decided to give it a try too. Visitor visa application was done on the 19th of December 2021...then another round of waiting commenced. Eligibility 20/01/2022 (noticed my son's medical was passed on that date)
PPRs January 21, 2022!!!
Documents submitted All relevant IMM forms Bank statements Title Documents of properties Investment certificates Pension Documents Letter of employment and promotions Letter of introduction from employer Payslips Receipt of my school fees My study permit and my kids visitors records Int'l passports SOP Letter of introduction from me. We wrote to CIC twice and filled out webform once last week and most of the messages were not even delivered. Letter to MP has also not been acknowledged This can only be God!

Hello, From what i learnt in some people's application and timeline on this thread, You can do upfront medicals and submit together with your application, OR You can submit your application, do upfront medicals and submit via webform and email, OR You can submit your application and wait for IRCC to send you a medical request before you can now go for your medicals. Hope this helps. Allegory: Please do students do upfront medicals b4 submitting their applications or is it only after they've been requested by IRCC |

Big congratulations to you. HHH3: It is PPR guys.
August 22nd 2021 and first time Applicant.
PPR and Correspondence Letter came in around 12. 35 but I saw it around 2 this afternoon.
MBA Program at UCW. I started class since October and completed the Fall Term online. Winter Term started on the 10th January, 2022 but I had to apply for leave of absence because of the delay in Study Permit approval.
Please don't give up on yours, keep pursuing. I am over 40 and got it. Just keep your focus on Jehovah God in the process.
I came across this thread after my application and invitation to proceed on medicals. Medicals was updated since November 13 and I had to come here to understand if the delay in PPR was peculiar to me. From following examples here, I raised several web forms and sent emails (I stopped sending them since last week). I requested for GCMS Notes (I heard that for the first time here) but I guess I don't need that anymore. Few days ago, I sent a mail to my MP who hasn't replied yet. This is all God and I give Him all the glory.
I had encouragement from Makano and PapaObi when I needed to start using part of my funds
It has now ended in PRAISE to God.

Congratulations! Glory be to God. RukkyAdenike: *PPR*alert/ Application timeline.
I am new to this platform and I've been a silent reader. Though I didn't know of this platform when I applied, since when I joined in December, I've learnt a lot from people here. Thank you @makano for answering my question that day, I really appreciate. I got my ppr that same day so I didn't later do as suggested. Here goes the timeline: First time applicant
Submitted application in August 22, 2021 Did biometrics in August 26, updated the same day. I didn't do an upfront medicals because I want to know how far my application has gone. I heard that if you are sent a medical request, then you are 80 percent to getting your visa. So the wait began after biometrics.. I didn't think about it much because I don't want to have hbp though I continue praying. I didn't even bother checking my portal. Got a medical request exactly 2 months later- October 22, 2021. Did my medical exam Nov 9, updated to pass Nov 15. Then the wait again. I waited the remaining of November and the whole of December. Got PPR on January 5th, 2022, Alhamdulillah.
Documents submitted: - The 3 IMM forms - LOA (unconditional) stating the partial scholarship I got. - 4 months bank statement of my uncle and Mum each. None was up to 10 million naira, though there was active transactions on both. - My SOP. I tried to be as honest as possible with it. It was just a page. - Passport photograph - international passport.
For people still waiting for ppr, it will come soon. Just don't stop praying. There is nothing prayer cannot do. It's not about the millions of naira you have in your account that does it, but God's grace.
Have a good evening y'all. |
