ALHAMDULILLAH!!!! My younger brother application was approved today at the 3rd attempt.

The first application was handled by one travel agent company (Snowfox). The application was submitted on September 2020 and got rejected the same month after payment exorbitant fee. It was during this first application process that I got to know everything about visa application because it was more or less like I was the handling the application. The application was rejected based on purpose of visit, financial asset and employment history.

I handled the second application myself and I submitted the application on 6th November 2020. I got advise from one agent that I would need a lawyer to draft the LOE that would address the refusal reasons which I did. The mistake I did was that I didn't apply for the gcms notes before reapplying and it backfired as the application was also refused the second time 7 months later, 9th June, 2021 based on the purpose of visit and financial assets.

I got to know this thread after the submission of the second application and it helped me in the third application. I patiently waited for the gcms notes to arrive. I sent an email to @Frankrobbn to assist me but he said I should pay 20k as consultation fee before he can say anything, I was like wawu!

After that, I reached out to @Justmellow and he immediately offered to assist. He gave me advise on what and what to do and also helped me to rewrite the SOP and LOE because my younger brother was actually switching career from Architecture (OND) to Computer Science (BSC), Universityof Regina. I only paid for the two letters.

The third application was submitted on September 18 after Justmellow had reviewed the documents and gave me go ahead, and here we are today.

My people, always do your due diligent, pray and be patient. The PPR will definitely come at the right time.

And again, do not joke with your SOP as it is one of the key factors that can convince the VO to approve your application. If you can't write a convincing SOP please reach out to Justmellow, he will do a justice to your SOP and guide you throughout the application process.

I've started my own application too but I've not submitted it.

I really appreciate Justmellow for always responding to my message. You are indeed a guru!!!.

Please if you don't mind did u later write on "the few more parts that would help with tips on chasing the dream job?" If yes kindly help share the link or section/page where it can be found. Thank you.

I still have a few more parts to write on, that would help with tips on chasing the dream job but having to work 14hr per day spares me little time. Believe it or not, I like it here in Canada but that`s largely because I knew what challenges I may face and felt I was up to the task (Anyhow e be, Ogoro must jump).

Hello house... It PPR alert

I submitted my visa application September 13 2021 and i got a medical request on the 18 November. I did the medical on the 13 December at Qlife clinic. I received a mail from Qlife on the 25th that my medical has been sent to IRCC. But have been checking my status since then and it has not been updated to pass or anything. So after work this evening i decided to check my application if the medical has been updated to pass. But to my greatest surprise i saw correspondence and ppr message it has been sent around 1pm or so but i just saw the message. My question now is that is it possible for IRCC to send ppr and not update my medical to pass yet.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by themankelechi: 10:58am On Dec 28, 2021
I think i'll go for the upfront medical as adviced.

Thanks once again for your time boss i'm grateful.

makano:
You are welcome

Once your application has passed the processing time, then you can start sending IRCC emails..

Or better still,Immediately book an appointment for your Upfront Medicals in any of the IRCC approved clinics, i.e IOM nad Qlife, once you do your medical Examination, the clinic will submit your Medical results to IRCC, and in few days or weeks, it will be updated to Pass..

Peace
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by themankelechi: 11:55pm On Dec 27, 2021
Thank you so much for your time and clarification boss makano...
I guess i have to wait for them to drop the medical request and i pray it drops soonest. Amen!

Best regards.

makano:
Hello themankelechi

Find attached the processing time ..

As regards your second question, Medicals does not determine the start of Eligibilty review.. Eligibility review can start anytime, it can start few days, weeks, months after the submission of your application..

Which means your eligibility can start before or after your medical request..

Peace
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by themankelechi: 8:27pm On Dec 27, 2021
Thanks boss for the response...

I submitted my application around November 25th, is it still in the processing time?

And please what's the processing time for a study permit application?

Also is it after undergoing and passing the medicals that eligibility review do start on the application?

Thanks.

makano:
Hello themankelechi

First, not getting a medical request from IRCC a month after submitting your application is not strange, some get their requests months after submitting, that is why most applicants prefer doing an upfront medical because of the delay of Medical request.. When an applicant does Upfront Medical and the result is submitted to IRCC by the clinic or the applicant, once its time for a medical request from IRCC, instead of sending a request, they work on the results of the upfront Medicals with them and Pass the Medicals..

You didn't mention the date you applied, with what I can see from your post, it's obvious your application has not passed the processing time..

Like I always advice, you can only start disturbing IRCC if your application has passed the processing time stated on the IRCC website when you submitted your Visa application..

If your application has not passed the processing time , you will need to be patient for this response , and if you didn't still get any response from them and your application has passed the processing time, then you can start sending them mails and webform...

Peace

Hello good day to you all and merry Christmas.

Please i need clarification on something, after doing my biometrics, it was updated to "completed" on december 3rd and since then the status of my application has been on "submitted"...no medical request yet from IRCC and my application hasn't entered the "eligibility review" stage yet and nothing else. Please is there anything wrong as to why the medical request is taking long to come getting to a month now after doing biometrics? Hope they haven't abandoned my application or is there anything i need to do to like raising a webform to remind them about the medicals or should i just keep on waiting till whenever they request for it? Also i'm meant to resume school by january 11th hence the concern.
The gurus in the house @makano, @lekiboboe, @anon, @ketima and others please kindly help put me through cos i'm still new in the process.
Thank you.

No medical request ?
You were not told ? Lol, don’t mind me…

On the portal, they said 13 weeks processing time. So just goan rest, You just submitted Dec 3rd.

It’s advisable to go do Upfront, if you want to consider that.
Or if you want to feel the joy of Medical request later, you can wait.

Hello everyone, good evening.

Please i want to know my application status has been on "submitted" after doing my biometrics on 3rd December and no medical request since then. Plz is there anything i need to do concerning the medical request for it to come faster from ircc? Or should i keep on waiting on them to send me the medical request on their own?

Also i thought my application is meant to be undergoing the "review of eligibility" process instead of "submitted"?

Someone should kindly put me through...thanks.
