First off, Happy Birthday to you KennedyOkpara. Many Happy returns. 1. Don't waste so many resources or time on love. Also, learn how to handle ladies as it's an essential skill in this 21st century especially in Nigeria. They can either make or mar you. 2. Start making money from school no matter how little and don't depend on your parent too much on the financials. There is a kind of confidence you project when you make your own money. Don't listen to the Vanity crew as long as you make your money legitimately. 3. Learn in-demand skills. Personally, I will advise digital skills because of the ease of marketing and the less stress involved. Please choose the one you have a flair for and be consistent in it. 4. Follow great teaching from great mentors on issues if life, love, money et all. On NL. You can follow ilegendd and some other people that align with your interest. 5. Learn financial prudence. I can't stress this enough. The amount of money or investment you'll do will be a factor of your financial prudence. 6. Start investing stating from today no matter how little. Make your research on any investment of your choice and know how things work before you delve in. Don't invest in vain schemes like sports betting, Ponzi, etc. 7. If you like reading like me, set a target for your education (school) and make sure you graduate with a good result. Don't mind those saying school na scam. 8. Read books that'll develop your mind positively. Books widen your views about life and throw you in Pseudo dimension of experience that can be likened with that of real life. One cannot overemphasize the importance of reading. 9. Be friendly with all but be friends to a few. 10. Stay informed, explore sections of naira land like business, investment, careers, and the rest. According to your alignment. Be informed (Information might be what distinguishes the Extraordinary from the supposedly "average". 10. Believe in something and know your God. Life exists in two phases. The Natural and the supernatural. Don't let people play you that there is no supernatural. Make do with those and I can assure you will give testimonies in years to come |

In light of the recent events about hate speech and the current administration of government proposing a social media bill that monitors the social media activities of its citizen, I decided to come up with this. It's no news that the government of Nigeria has not been acting in the best interest of the populace especially in the face of the current pandemic. I am not happy with the way things are being run in Nigeria myself just like many people on social media. But at this critical time when emotions are running high, the poverty level is increasing, the unemployment rate is increasing and all other ills in the society, it is pertinent we take control of our emotions and keep our sanity in check as people even on social media. The news about a certain Solomon Akuma trended some months ago who was arrested for posting several derogatory comments on social media. He was charged with terrorism and denied bail in court. It couldn't help but imagine the amount of hardship he will face for a comment which is obviously borne out of hatred for the administration. A lot of political activists voice out their criticism about the government without being incriminated. People are really taking the freedom on social media for granted. The reason why the Lai Muhammed wants the hate bill passed ASAP. I see many people wishing government officials death, threatening, and all manner of extreme comments, and I just concluded that a lot of us have already allowed our emotions to get the better of us. If you want to criticize, do it plainly with your chest. If the government can't take it and they go overboard, I'm certain there are scores of people ready to come out for you. My point is that irrespective of the case, we as citizens should know how to comport ourselves in matters relating to governance. Let's learn to criticize responsibly and constructively. Thank You.

Secrets11:Please, hold your head straight and don't be scammed. Don't DM anybody if they can't drop full details of the investment/business here. Nigeria is hard right now and I know the money will pain you if you lose it to scammers |
Your works look realistic. Thumbs up man |
Ent3rpreneur:Okay. No problems |
SEGLIZ:Lol. Ur comment did rile me up ![]() I'm not usually like that. We all good now though. ![]() |
favz:Okay. Sent you a message already |
omobacyprus:Lol, ![]() You didn't trigger any button bro. One love ![]() |
omobacyprus:The op asked for a way of coping with high data usage but you still had to poke your pointed nose into my opinion. The fact that you make money on Instagram doesn't mean others do too. Some people just go there for fun and I wouldn't advise people like that to scroll carelessly on Instagram all day despite the data consumption rate. Go and enjoy the fortune you made on Instagram and stop bothering us on NL. Besides, for one so learned, you completely overlooked the phrase "if it's not making you money on my post". Kindly mind your business next time. Thank You |
Remove Instagram from the list of things you do if it's not adding income to your life, and thank me later. Instagram is much worse than YouTube in data consumption in case you don't know. |
Kenoxman:Flesh and blood did not reveal this to you. |
Nice content |
Child of Doom, you can channel your writing skills and time into helping people overcome this addiction like you did, bro. I remember an Online game addiction site that helped me stop my addiction to video games early last year. Suppose you will be willing to, you can DM me, so we work something out together. I wish you the best in life, bro. |
Ent3rpreneur:Because he's one of my e-mentors . I love his flowOya do small give away for boys may we use that one gum body na ![]() |
Amen Nairaland sure has a lot of opportunities if someone is patients to filter through the good and bad ones. I haven't benefitted much monetary from Nairaland, but I hope to soon enough. But the information in itself has empowered me one way of the other. What I will new users to do is carefully vet through all sections of nairaland; there indeed are great threads where one stands to benefit a lot from. |
studentofTruth:Please Sir, Can I DM you, I need to discuss something with you. |
I'm not surprised one bit. The part that shocked me was where they said they budgeted 30 thousand naira for citizens of Nigeria. Please are the chosen state the money was allocated to or what? And it's some set of pot-bellied government officials they will loot this money. The oil money is more of a curse than a blessing to this country. Being a Nigeria is one of the worst things that can happen to anybody Here they are wasting student's time at home whil3 such enormous money is going into some people's pockets. May all of them never know peace till the day they draw their last breath. |
