Hmm.. Long story.

I was in a lot of organizations and I held leadership positions in most of them whilst in school.
My life wasn't all Book, Book.. The Book sef, I no kuku know..
Also, I attended a lot of conferences some which were relevant to what I was applying for.

I was opportuned to meet with a Resume writing expert which the Career department of my school brought during a Resume writing workshop. I went through each and every line of my then Resume and we greatly improved what I had then.

And I've come far from that now..

As for References, mine are available on request,
Very few companies in my experience seek out your referees before employment for entry level positions.
Besides, if they call you to request for references, at least you know your file isn't in one corner.

I don't have Hobbies on mine.

Honestly, whatever doesn't add to my Resume went out the door.
I had a 4 page Resume when I was still in school more out of inefficiency than any other thing.

Now, my Resume is easily 3 pages but I consciously keep it at 2.

Hahahaha... Dave the thing is complicated honestly. Personally I have just one. Why I don't like that line is because it sounds a bit rude, since you know it will be made available upon request why put the heading IMO... It's better you just stop at hobbies or whatever it is you have last.

But you can keep using it that way o since it is working for you, no need changing it.
