For south Africans, I believe they make payment from their wallet account to bolt and are made to forfeits a certain percentage of the same if they cancel the order which they cared less of.
They can not make payment to the rider wallet unless the trip was done. else, another loophole is created.
It is only more money for the company.

I believe they have GPS integrated in the app. The app should be able to detect if you are out of your country of registration and alert you to verify location for such change to be effected.

No app is perfect. Bolt should upgrade its app to make it location specific. The app tracks people's location using their IP addresses.

Yes, the app owners need to do something about it. It should be restricted to country of registration/residence. If they use IP, people with premium vpn can continue this mindless game.

Before this refinery venture, He should have owned oil wells capable of meeting his refinery's 40% crude requirement by exploring either privately or with government backing, areas with high possible yield of crude oil, but they wanted a northern state.
But he want a greedy monopolistic NNPC that has held Nigerians hostage to yield to his demands. That won't happen.

He also want Nigerians to fight for him when he has oppressed them with high price and substandard products from his other industries. That won't happen either.

Until Nigeria elect a fierce individual who is able to dismantle the cabal and tell the money bags in NNPC and it affiliate bodies to cool off in a prison yard while taking action to sanitize the management of our national resources, we are never going to get it right.

But then, we would have preferred Dangote refinery working to this face off with government backed NNPC because it will be easier to call dangote a wicked business man as many has opined than being lied to by the government daily about fuel subsidy.
If proper audit is carried out at NNPC, which the body and it beneficiary won't permit, Nigerians will pause everything they are doing and face the bullets till the structure is pulled down.

Press and hold your wifi icon till it open your wifi network settings. Tap on your connected wifi and tap on manage/Edit.

On IP SERVICES, change it to static.
Scroll down to DNS1 & DNS2 and change the values to Google DNS

OR ADGUARD DNS
1.1.1.1
1.0.0.1

You can try this.
Go back to the wifi settings. Tap on forget network to reset it.
Connect to the wifi network again using default DHCP.
On the connected wifi, scroll down till you see the IP address and default gateway address. Copy this and use it in the static IP settings.
But before you do, tap on forget network again so that the settings will reset.
Then proceeded with the configuration.
I noticed the ISP reshuffles the IP so you can only connect with the IP address on their system.
My observation.

I don't think they can block DNS provider. They can only disconnect your Internet service.
If you still have active data subscription, and you are able to connect to Internet with DHCP IP settings, you can switch the DNS to Google DNS and check if it works for you. You can revert back to ADGUARD.
IF not, you have might have exhausted your data.

You can also check your data limit settings.

Works well.

If yours is not connecting, return your IP settings to DHCP.
Connect.
When successful, take note of your IP address and gateway. Copy them.
You can now go back to IP services and change it to static and replace your IP address and gateway with the ones you copied.
Save and connect.
Always do this when it stops connecting.
Network providers here randomises your IP address so they might change yours anytime.

It is not news that most of the Internet service providers in the country were compelled to meter their network speed resulting to slow internet browsing. This was to reduce the volume of contents shared online by protesters.

I have gotten a way out of this metered network.

If you are into tech, you must have known about this. The throttling is caused by the network DNS. You can navigate to your network settings and change your DNS to AdguardCloudflare DNS or Google DNS.

I expect banks techs to do this and save customers from all this complain of slow network in the bank.

For mobile phones, I was able to figure it out when you connect to a hotspot/wifi.

Press and hold your wifi icon till it open your wifi network settings. Tap on your connected wifi and tap on manage/Edit.

I bought Tecno Spark 8 in 2022 and have been using it comfortably. Recently, it started ghost touching badly. Once in 30 minutes, the screen flips, shakes, and select functions automatically without me touching. It will make calls, delete files, open apps all by itself.

I always lock it when that happens and open again. However, give it another 30 minutes, the ghost touching will start again. Please what can I do?

If this happens mostly when your data is on,
Go to settings.
Tap on more connection
Tap on private DNS
Select private DNS providers host name
Enter the address below

dns.adguard.com


It should block all ads.

If the problem persist, check your calibrator.
