New denomination coming soon. 10,000 naira note probably. Only 10 pcs of it is needed to pay minimum wage of 100,000 naira. They should start onboarding more people into productive sector and change our currency when the economy is stabilized. Problem solved. |
Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. Hebrews 2:14–15 THE MOTHER OF ALL FEARS My friend, in Christ you have been redeemed from all fears. You no longer need to live in fear of judgment, punishment, and condemnation from God for your sins. Because you are a believer in Jesus, the curse of the law and its ministry of death and condemnation no longer have a hold over you! His Word victoriously proclaims that “Christ purchased our freedom [redeeming us] from the curse (doom) of the Law [and its condemnation] by [Himself] becoming a curse for us, for it is written [in the Scriptures], Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree (is crucified)” (Gal. 3:13 AMP). You have been redeemed! Do you know what the mother of all fears is? Today’s scripture shows us that it is the fear of death. Why do believers come under the fear of death when they’ve been forgiven, justified, and redeemed? It’s simple: when believers don’t believe that all their sins have been punished and forgiven through the death of Jesus Christ at the cross, their consciences are never at rest. As a result, the wages of sin, which is death, continues to oppress them and keep them under bondage. But here’s the good news: God’s Word tells us that through His death, our Lord broke the power of death the devil had over us. Why did He do all this? To “release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.” Clearly, our Lord Jesus wants us free from the fear of death and from any bondage. Read Hebrews 2:15 again and you’ll see that the fear of death leads to other fears and bondage—“those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.” People who fear death automatically fear falling sick, so they worry about their health all the time. Every little symptom causes them anxiety and keeps them running to doctors. Many times the fear of death is the root of people’s fear of flying, driving, or simply going to the mall because they imagine the worst things happening to them. For some people, the fear of death is so severe that it interferes with their daily life. It consumes their thoughts and negatively affects the decisions they make. If that’s you today, I encourage you to take the time to anchor yourself in the truth of Hebrews 2:14–15. Know beyond the shadow of any doubt that Jesus, through His death at the cross, has set you free from the fear of death, and with it every bondage you may be in right now. Verse 15 shows us clearly that the moment the fear of death is removed from your heart, your bondage is removed. Your very susceptibility to being in bondage is removed. Hallelujah! Jesus died on the cross to set you free. The more you are established in this truth, the more you’ll experience the abundant life He came to give you. |
correctguy101:You are right. He is supposed to see us as dust because that was our frame. But There is a new understanding about how God sees us. We have become joint heirs with His son. So he sees us as he sees His son. If he sees His son as being worthless, so are we before Him. But if He sees his son as Prince of Peace, and King of Kings, He sees us as same too. Concerning His son, He said, You are my beloved son in whom I am well pleased. I believe God is pleased with you. You only need to do the below. thesolutions: |
Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Romans 12:2 NLT |
flokii:While saying that, cast your mind back to the election period and observe places without insecurity and other challenges and compare number of voter turnout to number of registered voters. Any one telling you genuinely that Nigeria has over 200 million people is deliberately clueless. No comprehensive birth and death register so how did they arrive at the population figure. |
seunmsg:What he is saying is you are actually wrong when you think you are the only one that is right. I don't know why that is hard to comprehend. |
flokii:But total votes cast in last election was barely 25 million. What happened to the rest of the population? Population Fraud perhaps. |

reiddecuti:Just the quote I read today. The only person the oppressed love is the oppressor because he hopes one day to join the class of oppressors and exercise his fantasy. Everyone wants to be the feared boss. |
helinues:I read and understood what you are implying. The rich got richer even here in Nigeria. But your focus was on labour demands amidst inflation. The government had opportunity to tame the inflation but they were arrogant to criticism. Not only were they arrogant, they were also not telling the people the whole truth which makes it appear the government were mocking it citizens because they have access to our national resources. Many people were crying here on the cost of production and the high level of insecurity against farmers mostly but those were regarded as dirty opposition politics. I was crying for the government to take the dollar off the street but the CBN decided to flood the street with more and more dollar hoping that it will become excess in circulation resulting to it crash but that has failed too. Government has lost the dollars and it is not in the productive economy. They are now raising banks capitalization to cripple struggling banks creating more pain to customers and giving fraudulent people in government the opportunity to offload their stolen wealth into acquisition of failing institutions making them appear genuine while they oppress the labourers who have worked all their lives to build those institutions. I was against labour demands hoping the government could have done the needful but it is selfish to continue to endure the governments failure to address the easiest of it challenges by telling the truth to it citizens. Now the Finance minister has come out to say that subsidy is being faced out. |
helinues:blaming COVID is funny Nigeria is not United States or UK. Nigerians never benefitted from COVID. The cash in circulation is not up to 10% of all the funds in people's accounts in the bank. That means if CBN with it corrupt act is to print money so that Nigerians can have their funds as physical cash, the nations budget of 2 years won't be enough. So Nigerias inflation is not caused by too much cash in circulation as we are having shortage of cash in circulation. The inflation is caused by over dependent on foreign products and excessive health and leisure tourism to foreign countries that depletes the national foreign exchange, castigation of the Nigerian youth and calling them unemployable which makes they to seek out of country without minding the risk, government not attempting to be productive but seek to sell off it productive industries for temporary revenues. The worst of it is insecurity that has kept farmers out of their farms while bandits are tolerated to roam free and carry out their menance. |
Today’s Scripture But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him. 1 CORINT HIANS 6:17 One of our key ministry partners, Ron, shared how he had a dear friend named Tyler, who was from a good Christian family, was great at sports, and was living the “American Dream.” After college, however, Tyler started hanging out with the wrong crowd and developed a severe drug and drinking problem, which in turn led to a series of devastating mistakes. Within a twenty-four-month period, Tyler lost everything he held dear in his life. Ashamed and miserable, Tyler dropped out of church and almost gave up on life, God, and grace. But God, in His grace, was still reaching out to Tyler (through Ron), as Ron related in this story: One night, while jogging at a park and listening to a message by Pastor Prince, I felt God prompting me to send Tyler a text message. I felt that God wanted me to ask Tyler, “What does God see when He look s at you?” So while running, I texted him exactly those words. After a long time, I received his text reply: Tyler: “Are you serious?” Ron: “Yes.” Tyler: “Well… I’m sure it’s not good.” Ron: “Jesus.” Tyler: “What do you mean?” Ron: “I mean, when God look s at you, He sees Jesus!” Thirty minutes later, I got this message: Tyler: “Thank s, man, you don’t k now how badly I needed to hear that!” Would it bless your heart to know that this is the very message God wants you to receive today? If you are like Tyler, then you believe God’s love for you depends on your actions. You honestly believe God is ashamed of you because of your mistakes and failures. Well, you may have either not heard or have forgotten that the payment for your sins has already been made in full upon the body of Jesus at the cross. Therefore, when God looks at you today, He doesn’t judge, esteem, and measure you according to your imperfections. He sees you in the Beloved—He sees you in Christ, and He sees the blood that has been shed for you by His dear Son. When God looks at you today, He sees Jesus. Because of this, His thoughts toward you are thoughts of loving-kindness, forgiveness, blessings, and favor. Jesus paid an immensely heavy price on the cross so that you can live life completely accepted and unconditionally loved by God. Knowing and believing this will make all the difference in how you live your life—no matter what is staring you in the face. Today’s Thought When God look s at me today, He sees me in Christ. He does not see my imperfections, but sees His Son’s blood, and therefore accepts me completely and loves me unconditionally. Today’s Prayer Father, thank You that on the cross Jesus paid the heavy price for my sins, failures, and shame. Open the eyes of my heart, Lord, to see what You see—that I am in the Beloved, in Jesus, and that His blood covers me completely. I receive Your loving-kindness, forgiveness, blessings, and favor. Today, I choose to stand tall, believing that because of Jesus, I am completely accepted and unconditionally loved by You. Amen. |
You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. ISAIAH 26:3 You need the truth of God’s Word to uproot any wrong belief. This is why it’s so important to get into His Word and take time to meditate upon verses that reveal God’s unwavering and unfailing love for you. For instance, if you find your mind drifting into anxious thoughts over the smallest things, I encourage you to memorize and quote today’s scripture: “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You” (Isa. 26:3). Whenever I feel stressed or worried about something, I pull away from life’s hustle and bustle and simply meditate on God’s promises. Sometimes I like to drive to a quiet park, and as gentle anointed music plays in my car, I feed on and speak His Word, allowing it to permeate my spirit: “God’s Word declares, ‘You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You.’ ” And I tell the Lord, “Yes, Lord, it is You who will keep me in perfect peace. Perfect peace comes from You. I just need to rest in Your grace and keep my mind on You. I don’t need to think about what to do about this challenge. As I trust in You and keep my mind stayed on You, You will lead me and guide me. My trust is not in my own strength, but in You and You alone, Jesus.” What am I doing here? Instead of allowing stress and worry to get to me, I’m training my heart to see how God sees my challenges. The bigger God becomes in my heart, the smaller my challenges become. In fact, many times when I just relax and keep my mind on the Lord, His peace and wisdom begin to flow in me, and the challenge that I was previously so worried about becomes minute and inconsequential in the presence of Almighty God. Are you faced with an insurmountable circumstance today? Learn to see what God sees by meditating on His Word, and let His peace drive out your anxiety. Let His wisdom direct your paths. Today’s Thought The bigger God becomes in my heart, the smaller my challenges become. When I keep my mind on the Lord, His peace and wisdom will begin to flow in me and direct me to victory. Today’s Prayer Father, I choose to keep my eyes on You today. Instead of focusing on how big my challenges are, I choose to see You watching over me, going before me and taking care of all my needs. In the midst of my challenges, I look to You to keep me in perfect peace and to lead me by Your wisdom to do the right thing at the right time. I receive Your perfect peace right now, and I thank You for leading and guiding me in whatever I need to do today. Amen. |

igwebuike01:People are making progress without the president. If you want collective progress as a nation, I can assure you the nation is making huge progress. Priorities of leaders differs. If the president doesn't take you as his priority, that doesn't stop the nation from progressing. Before now, subsidized transport only existed in the FCT and Lagos. Now, many states have adopted it. That is progress. The president was not involved. The pain of Nigerians is hunger. But this was caused by insecurities in most agrarian communities. Most of us believe it is a foreign conspiracy to hijack our farming while there is another school of thought that it is caused by greedy Nigerians who prefer the mineral resources in those farm lands that fetch them hard currency. Everything wrong with Nigeria is Nigerians. |
NiRfreak:Please start a business today and employ one of the suffering masses to manage it. Come back in few months time to give feedback. If revered religious leaders can tell you that a position given to you to head is reward from above to eat, just know it that the situation is irredeemable. Nigeria is a selfish country. People were fighting to get fuel for N950 just because of scarcity. How do you expect such people to fight to stabilize the price of such product. It is what it is. There won't be a conscious approach to change Nigeria because Nigerians are the ones rulling. |
It would have been a nice thread if you had passed your message without mentioning Tinubu and next election. But for what it's worth, Nigerians are constantly demanding and pressing to get what they want. It is individual wants and not collective. That is why you think they aren't pressing. As long as there are multiple different means for individuals to get what they want, don't expect anything called change or revolution. If that ever happens, individual who are pressing for such will cash out with it and left the country in it worst state ever. If you are not getting what you are pressing for, re-stratergize and change your wants. Accept Nigeria for what it is. |

Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little. Is it safe to discus above statement. I never paid attention to it before now. “Do you see this woman? I entered your house; you gave Me no water for My feet, but she has washed My feet with her tears and wiped them with the hair of her head.…Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.” |

This is takyya. Without Elijah calling down fire against the soldiers, the disciples of Jesus wouldn't know they have such powers. This is Literal. That is why the disciples of Jesus has to make reference to Elijah's fire from heaven. For surely, Oh Israel, the Lord our God is one. There was no different God of Elijah and another God that Jesus came to share. It is the same God who was, and is and is to come. He is the same yesterday, today and for ever. Elisha received double portions of Elijah's anointing according to the scripture. But when Elisha commanded soldiers that came up against Israel to go blind, he spared their lives and even provided them with food to the extent that the nation of Israel became short of food. He declined calls for the soldiers to be killed by his servants. Does that make the God of Elijah different from the God of Elisha? certainly not. Everything that had happened in the scripture are for our instructions and guidance. It is for the believers to know what they have and make their decisions. That is called free will. |
You are sure right. The discussion of heaven had made a lot of people to deviate from following God. They always describe heaven as a place without fun and activities. But when they focus on who dwells in heaven, the owner of heaven, the one who made everything bright and beautiful, they will begin to understand what Paul meant when he said "that I might know him and the power of his resurrection". When people begin to treasure meeting with God like they do meeting with influential and wealthy society people, their view of God will begin to change and their idea of heaven will begin to become of something of great importance. Congratulations on your discovery. |
