There is money factor and there is class factor. But people tends to forget the most important thing is relationship. Empathy.
When some people becomes emotionally attached to someone they cared for, they can make some choices that is uncommon.

It is obvious she is not that poor to be a bestie to her granddaughter. She must have been comfortable around him while growing up. So her choice might not be financially induced.

Why subsidize what you can produce. Lack of foresight.

He should also subsidize garri, semo, akpu, pap, zobo, kunu, cheskele, alomo after tackling corruption. In other words, if he can't tackle corruption, no subsidy.

They all have no master plan. No team on ground prepared to tackle our challenges. Its all politics.

First stage is for him to tell us how he can tackle corruption. He is supposed to be working with a team uncovering corruptions in this present government he wishes to defeat at the polls and filing litigations against offenders and mismanagers of pre-allocated public funds. But no. All he can offer is promises like his former boss while trying not to sound like him.

How much is MTN ODU monthly plan. Use same to sub a Glo bundle and compare with MTN. Your ODU keeps you indoors and idle. Your Glo goes where ever your phone is allowed.
You have a 5g enabled phone but you depends on ODU that has lower processor and network capability to stream because your phone with it capability has been migrated to a throttled network while the ODU with it inferior network components is migrated to premium user IP network. That is fraud.
If your phone is not as fast as your ODU while you are using it outside, you are being cheated.

Same ecological fund that Joshua Dariye went to prison for. If Anambra is serious about this fraud, they should be at EFCC to file their petition against Obi or head to court of law. It still depends.
Some fix deposit offers up to 20% when fixed for longer period. But someone doing actual business can get that profit in few days. I got my phone 180k online. I wanted to sell 200k To profit 20k but i found out that the wholesale price from my plug is above 250k, i decided to use it. Real business man can sell it for 230k and make 50k in one sale.

This is misleading. Gold, diamond and the rest of precious mineral don't receive rewards for being mined. But when someone receive reward after it is mined, it won't mind numerous illegal miners as long as the benefits will accrue. And if the field is not damaged after multiple mines, it won't just invite illegal miners but alien miners to come mine of her precious body.

Stop using reverse psychology. It's bad.

You write as someone in the industry that knows the deeper running processes. However, that doesn't say that you should relegate the action of NMDPRA in this issue of dispensing. Nigerians are being cheated at the filling station every minutes and there's little consumer protection can do, whereas, consumer protection might not have the technique to verify if we are being cheated or not. Support NMDPRA to checkmate all these unpatriotic marketers so that proper things can be done.....Industry been deregulated doesn't give any marketers the right to under-dispensing of products......

There are hardly fraudulent marketers but fraudulent management exist. Beside marketers that manages their business themselves and unregistered stations, no marketer allows under dispensing at his petrol station. I have not seen one that does. There is approved standards which marketers adhere to but some management of some outlets can be fraudulent.

If a station cheats customers, NMDPRA won't compensate customers that are being cheated. They only collect fine which most times becomes their personal income because they are most times resolved by negotiation and such funds don't pass through government channels.

Consumer protection can however fight for the right of the customer if their complaint about station not serving the public according to standards is proved.

NMDPRA are doing great work, no doubt. But some statements made for public attention should be scrutinized. It is their duty to licence and regulate petrol stations. They can withdraw the licence they issued a petrol station If they violates the rules stated in their act without anyone knowing. If they start making public statements and issuing threats regarding what is supposed to be their job, then, they are playing to the gallery. They should do their job without inciting the public against business owners.

Most comments here are from greedy Nigerians who believe they are being cheated.
NNPC stations are the worst in under dispensing and NMDPRA does not have one single petrol station under their name that they can use as standard.

Citizens pay fraudulent NMDPRA License fee to operate but you will still see unlicensed and unnamed black market stations operating without control and regulation. That is total failure if the agency.

Their members also indulge in fake license issuance. You pay your heavy license renewal fee but when you go to verify it, you discover it is fake. The worst is the agency blames you for the fake certificate even though it was issued by one of their own.

One thing Nigeria should know about this agency is that they are not getting the excess revenue from fraudulent activities they were running with NNPC. They are fighting tooth and nail to establish an illegal revenue channel and who would be the culprit, marketers. They plan on issuing threats or license revocation so that affected marketers will negotiate with them in fear.

They actually have no business with marketers because the industry have been deregulated. Customer who suspect marketers are under dispensing are meant to report the marketer to consumer protection for verification and possible penalty/competition. It is no longer the duty of NMDPRA.

There is also department of weights and measures in the ministry of trade and investment. They make sure marketers make use of accurate recommended scales and equipment.

Greed is really making Nigerians go against their own laws just to accuse someone else instead of taking responsibility for their actions.

I got another update but it is not android 17. Just security patch for September.

Inquiry about android 17 update shows Realme is going back to ColorsOS use by it Oppo brand and ditching the Realme UI. This device will be receiving Android 17. Let's see how it goes.

I still miss the breadcrumb and jellybean era. Yo can just tweak your IMEI to that of premium phones to get same benefits they enjoy.

When Buhari was president, he closed the border and northern farmers thrived. Farmers became millionaires over night.

President Tinubu took over but has nothing that benefits his cultural community directly in his agenda. That should be an issue of concern. If the west really thrive on manufacturing, why not stop importation of anything that can be produced in the west so all traders source the product from the factories in the west instead of going to China to import them.

Again, what investment has president Tinubu done in the south west to either revive those factories or establish new ones to create jobs and revenue to the region. Like Lai Muhammed once said, when something is too big, they becomes invincible to the eyes. It is possible his achievements has become too big that it has become invisible to the eyes.

Minister of petroleum has control of Niger Delta refinery and all sorts of bunkering is going on there. They will tell you that our refineries are not working but the president's company vehicle is lifting products daily. We are exceeding OPEC crude oil quota but Dangote is not getting enough crude for his refinery. Crude oil price increased far beyond the national bench mark value but we have not heard anything called 'Exces crude Account' like we used to have during Obasanjo, Yar'Adua and Goodluck Jonathan's time.
The North will asked about all these when they get their chance again.

We have it on record that the vice President said it before the last election, that they are going to spoil the Igbo man's businesses. He wasn't the first to make such statements. Their mentor Murtala Muhammed said it so much that he stated that any challenge they can not handle will be given to foreigners instead of giving it to the Igbos. This was long before the civil war.

The south west may rejoice in the affliction of the Igbos by government policies but they should know that they are still part of the south. Those in the north side are coming. They have receipts.

My friend trainee was sent to get a pouch for my phone. He saith this was the only one available at the moment. It was more expensive than normal pouch. The price was discussed over the phone without seeing the pouch and I obliged to pay for it. On seeing it, we both were surprised it is ladies pouch. But I can't waste more time so I chose to keep it. My guy wanted to remove the shinny stuffs and beads attached at the back but I told him to leave it. I intend to swap it with a lady I helped charge her phone once In a while that uses same model of phone but she has not come around since I got the pouch.

I have been using the pouch but it has been attracting so many attention. Women claim it, men rejects it. Even miss independent is telling me to remove it

Men now rides ladies motorcycle but they have given it a different name just to detach it from feminine origin. Why can't they allow me use this pouch in peace even though it is temporary.

Atheism is a lone journey but no one can live on their own. Those who chose to leave alone will find every reason to justify their immoral behavior and those who walk in community or union will have constant clash of opinions because what is moral to one might not be to another raised in a different community or religion.

But most atheist fall back to state laws for their moral orientation only to find that those laws were made by religious group. so they hardly make reference to state laws but countries like US where some of their anti religious morality is justified.

Exactly. With a widened tax net and subsidy removal, government revenue has grown beyond their expectations. They can kill to remain in control of those public fund.
In a reasonable state lead by visionaries, these excess funds would have been put to good use and it turns over more revenue for the government or create an opportunity for new businesses and expansion of existing ones to create both jobs and more revenue. But our political system is still standing on corrupt standards that are celebrated and protected by vetting institutiond.

If it were my money, I wouldn’t spend everything simply because I earned it.

I’d divide it roughly like this:

₦100,000 — Needs
Food, transport, bills, data, and other important expenses.

₦40,000 — Savings
I’d build an emergency fund first before thinking about expensive investments.

₦30,000 — Personal development
Courses, books, skills, internet access, or anything that can increase my earning ability.

₦20,000 — Investment
Something appropriate for my situation and risk level. The goal is to make my money work instead of leaving everything idle.

₦10,000 — Enjoyment
Yes, enjoyment is allowed.

The goal isn't to suffer because you're trying to become financially responsible.

The important part is this:

Don't let your lifestyle consume 100% of your income.

And if ₦200,000 isn't your income right now, don't ignore the lesson.

The same principle can apply whether you earn ₦50k, ₦100k, ₦500k or ₦1m.

Income can change. Your money habits are what determine what you do with it.
