Timoleon:

You and one or two if your persons should go to your bank. You should go and wail and cry in the bank (no damage anything o), while you do this, the person(s) that followed you should make a video of the episode. Upload it to blogs, twitter, Instagram tagging the bank, CBN, EFCC The Nigerian Police etc. Do a follow up video of you explaining how your case is not being addressed by the bank. You'll most likely get positive feedback in a short while.

This is not a joke or an understatement of your situation. I do mean it as a serious consideration.
I understand the power of acting. Some of us doesn't have that in us even though we can spot a very good act.
Again, men don't cry. They can only exercise strength but my strength was taken down by nairaland.

Access Bank has been through a lot but it is their own making. They have some dundees as head of department. They are always quick to accuse customers of being greedy as reason why their fund got stollen. But I exposed the site, they took it down. I hope that their tech guys are eating watery beans by now because they created that loophole.

Access Bank returned her money but the feedback they are giving me is Sorry for loss of funds even after helping them expose the defective site.

Seun and his nlfpmod was quick to delete the Post so that my efforts to recover my money is stalled. But someone who had been missing in action just came online, cried and got her refund and even compensations.

Business is business anyways. They cashed out and locked me out. It doesn't pay being a good Nigerian.

Religion / Personalize God’s Favor In Your Life by thesolutions(m): 10:08am On May 08
Now there was leaning on Jesus’ bosom one of His disciples, whom Jesus loved.
John 13:23

I used to think that among Jesus’ 12 disciples, John was the Lord’s favorite disciple and the one who was the closest to Him because the Bible calls John “the disciple whom Jesus loved.” I was under the impression that John had a special favor with Jesus, and always wondered what made him so special that he stood apart from the other disciples. Don’t you want to be known as the disciple whom Jesus loves? I do!

Then one day, when I was reading God’s Word, the secret of John’s favor dawned on me. The Lord opened my eyes and showed me that the phrase “the disciple whom Jesus loved” is actually found only in John’s own book! Check it out for yourself. You will not find this phrase being used in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke. It is found only in the Gospel of John. It is a phrase that John used to describe himself!

Now, what was John doing? He was practicing and personalizing the love that Jesus had for him. We are all God’s favorites, but John knew the secret of accessing Jesus’ unmerited favor for himself. It is your prerogative to see yourself as the disciple whom Jesus loves, and to call yourself that!

When I started to teach that the secret of John’s favor lay in his personalization of God’s love, the people in my church literally stepped into a new dimension of experiencing God’s unmerited favor in their lives. I have seen how some of them really took this revelation and ran with it. Some of them customized the wallpapers of their cell phones to say “The disciple whom Jesus loves,” while others signed off their text messages and emails with the phrase.

As they kept reminding themselves that they are the disciple whom Jesus loves, they began to grow in the consciousness of the Lord’s love for them. At the same time, they began to grow in being favor-conscious! I have piles of praise reports on how our congregation members have been so blessed just by being conscious of Jesus’ favor in their lives. Some of them have been promoted, some have received spectacular increments to their paychecks, and many have won various prizes at company functions and in other contests, including all-expense-paid vacations.

A brother from my church signed up for a certain credit card during a special promotion in which new applicants stood to win a range of prizes. There were probably hundreds of thousands of people who participated in this promotion, but this young man just believed that he was highly favored, and because of that, he would win the top prize.

The day of the draw came and true enough, this young man won the top prize—a stunning black Lamborghini Gallardo! When he wrote to the church to share his testimony, he enclosed a picture of himself smiling from ear to ear, posing with his brand-new Lamborghini.

He said that he knew that he had won the car by the unmerited favor of God, and after he had sold off the car, he brought his tithe to the church, giving all glory and honor to Jesus. The world calls this “luck,” but for the believer, there is no such thing as luck. There is only the unmerited favor of Jesus!

Religion / Already Beloved, Already Qualified by thesolutions(m): 5:27pm On Apr 20
See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are!
1 John 3:1 NLT

- APRIL 20 -
ALREADY BELOVED, ALREADY QUALIFIED

I received an awesome testimony from twenty-five-year-old Nathan from New York, who grew up with no father figure in his life except a man whom his mother married and who beat him regularly from the time he was three. Nathan struggled with his identity, his addictions, and his anger. But his turning point came when he learned that his Daddy God loves him. He wrote:

I heard a sermon of yours about being God’s beloved. I had never heard someone speak about Jesus as someone who died for my sins because He loved me so much. I thought there was no way anyone would die for me if they knew what I’d done. But the love I felt as I listened was something I’d never experienced before.

I had to know more, so I bought your book Destined To Reign, and the Lord’s words through your book changed my life . . . I’ve dropped every bad habit—everything—in my past and have given myself to the Lord Jesus Christ. Every day seems new to me, and I see life in a different light now. I know that I have a Father in heaven who loves and accepts me. I know that He hears my prayers and won’t be slow to answer them.

In the same way, I pray you will have a revelation that you are right now loved by the Father and close to His heart. That your Daddy God always hears your prayers and is more than able and willing to lift you out of every dark pit and set you in His love and light.

Right now, I want you to do something: close your eyes and just say, “Daddy.”

That’s a prayer right there. In fact, that’s the deepest, most intimate prayer you can pray. Call upon your Daddy God because He loves you and cares for you. You never did anything to make Him fall in love with you. And beloved, there is nothing you can do, nothing you could have done, that will ever take away His love for you.

I want you to know today that as a child of God, you don’t need to qualify for His love in any way. You are already His beloved. You may feel that you are far away from Him, but your Father sees you. He has been watching and waiting for you to come home, ready to sprint toward you to embrace you. He wants to lavish His love and kisses on you, over and over again.

You don’t need to earn your Daddy’s love. ALL that He has is already yours. He’s not asking you to serve Him in order to earn His blessings. ALL that He has, He has already freely and unconditionally given to you.

He gave up His only Son to die an agonizing death on the cross for the chance that you might one day accept His love. So come. Come to the Father. Come with all your failings, with all your brokenness, with all your inadequacies.

Come as you are. As you realize that you are the object of His love, I pray that whatever is negative or destructive will be flushed out from your life and you will experience breakthrough after breakthrough like never before.

The bolded shows you're not paying attention or care to find out first what they law says concerning minimum wage review in Nigeria.. Where in the world are salaries reviewed to reduce it after 4 years? Do you even know what you're saying? Minimum wage is not only for government workers whom you considered in your ignorance unproductive, but also for those in the private sector.
Go and read what the minimum wage act says and come back here too tell they won't benefit. Use Google.

You can continue to wail , but nothing will stop the increase. It's law.

I cannot continue to argue with someone who is ignorant of what the law says. Good day.

What's the vague statement of civil servant turning to" oppress the private sector"

Wetin you smoke this evening?

You are funny with your assertive statement about the law. The law doesn't pay you. Government does. And as long as this administration is concerned, government is the law.

What hasn't the government done for the civil servants. They provided subsidized transport and housing to them, the law didn't make them do it. The government promise suffering allowance to civil servants, the law didn't make them do it. They government has promised palliative to civil servants, the law didn't make them do it. Bunch of selfish lots. The law belongs to the government. It is used to control the people and not for the people to use it to control government. If government yields to increase minimum wage after the ungrateful ranting of labor, then the government is weak.

The time to stand for the economy is now.
Politics / Re: Plateau Gov. Mutfwang Introduces Subsidized Metro Buses As Palliative Measure by thesolutions(m): 10:21pm On Mar 22
The governor had already provided subsidized transport vehicles in the state. These are only additions to the fleets of buses.

Tetfund buses, old PTF buses and many other buses belonging to different commissions were repaired and putted on the road before the arrival of these new fleets. He is not a media jamboree kind of governor.

So you know better than the lawmakers who came up with the law which makes it mandatory that minimum wage in this country is reviewed once every four years.?

And do you also think they never carried out adequate consultation with economic experts to find out the economic implication of what was signed into law?

FYI, minimum wage in Nigeria is not a privilege, but the inalienable right of Nigerian workers to have their salaries reviewed compulsorily once every 4 years so they earn a living wage that's commensurate with what they put in daily in their different places of work.

You're certainly ignorant of the law, the minimum wage act, hence your ill-informed advice that workers salaries shouldn't be increased.

The Tinubu led federal government cannot help put increase salaries of Nigeria workers at this time, and they're not about to do so on their own to please workers as most of you assume. It's what the law mandates them to do they're trying fulfill. So keep your advice to yourself as it cannot supersede the law.

And also, contrary to what you think, the new minimum wage being proposed by labour is also binding on the private sector once it's passed into law. Any company operating in Nigeria that has 50 workers and above in its wage bill must pay minimum wage . That's what the law says. If you work in such a place and you don't receive what you deserve , take them to court, but not without reporting them first to the appropriate authorities for sanction.

Some private employees also receive pension , not from the government, but from pension companies managing pension deductions for them. Ask around and know what's happening around you before coming to Nairaland to offer suggestions and criticism.

You talked of inflation once salaries are increased, but businesses in this country are struggling and are on the verge of shutting down due to high cost of production and poor sales caused by the abnormal reduction in the purchasing power of the populace after fuel subsidy removal and the floating of the naira.

If the situation persists and workers salaries are not increased immediately and quickly enough to match with current realities, the economy might collapse,as they the manufacturers and traders cannot continue to produce or do business with very little sales coming to them for their products and services

The effect will be job losses and reduction in tax revenue to government.

you must have published several books.

First, that something has to be reviewed does not mean it has to be increased. It can be reduced based on available reality. Government won't continue to borrow just to pay unproductive sector salaries.

The minimum wage is not binding on the private sector. What tax are you referring to. It is more profitable for the government to invest in productive private sector that not only drives the economy but also generate revenue to the government.

Any attempt to impose minimum wage on private sector will not only crumble the economy, it will be the end of this administration.

Businesses makes profits and pay salaries from profits. They are not government that will borrow money to pay salaries to unproductive civil servants and then turn to oppress the private sector with taxes.

Pension in the private sector is a fraud by private pension management institutions to deny private sector employees of their wholesome salaries. If they put that percentage they are corcerd to save with pension managers in a stock, the dividend will be better than the pension.

If the government has to increase minimum wage, it means they will need to mint more money incurring both more expenses and creating more inflation. But if they invest in reducing cost of production and distribution of goods, they will both save the economy from inflation and extra expenses on minting money.

This is time to stand strong.

Common sense will let u know that people are suffering and that there's need to boost their purchasing power in a country that wen the price of goods goes higher, it will be difficult to reduce its price even wen the naira value appreciate over dollar rate.
You are obviously a civil servant and it is difficult to reason with you on needs to stabilize the economy by being more productive. If you civil servants don't believe in Nigeria, why should government pay attention to your needs. If government is to incurring 2 trillion as salary increase cost, I will advise they rather use it to subsidize diesel to factories running production of feeds, fertilizers, cold rooms and other major industries in house hold goods production for 4 months and see how the economy will fare.
Don't be selfish. You want government to take care of less than 5 percent of it citizens and left over 95 percent to continue the suffering. It will not work.

You don't know what you are saying. The minimum wage needs to be increased and the Federal government needs to be pressured to do things that will reduce inflation/exchange rate. Also, the minimum wages can now be based on states for state workers and private sectors in such states while we also have a national minimum wage for FG worker
As long as you don't realize that increase in minimum wage equals increase in money in circulation and also increase in inflation and demand for dollar, you will not understand that this press for salary increase is selfish. If Labour press for subsidy on Diesel instead of salary increase you will see that inflation will be curtailed, naira will appreciate and those running to foreign countries to do menial jobs just because of the rate of dollar will see no such needs again.
Those pressing for salary increase are selfish. Well, Labour only cares for it members and members of Nigerian labour under government pay are less than 5 percent. I see no need government should give them such attention. They should rather create opportunities to onboard more of the citizens productively.

What we need is not increasing minimum wage but reducing cost of production and improving farmers output as well as curbing security challenges.
Even if states are able to pay minimum wage of N200,000, it is same as saying inflation can go ahead and destroy the economy.

A work in progress needs no distractions.

Anyways, no one cares about workers in the private sector. No salary increase, no pension, no gratuities, no bonus package. All from hand to mount work. And they do real work and not file and paper kind of work done by most civil servants.

Spiritual gifts can be imparted if one spiritual being submit to another. But the spirit of a man can not be transferred to another person unless such a one has power to displace a person off his spirit and possess the persons body. Not possible.

The challenges of people who had received gifts from renowned prophet is understanding the use of those gifts. Some understands their gift to function in healing, others in deliverance, some in financial breakthrough, some in prophecy, some in words of faith and many more divers functions of gifts. While this is true scripturally, these gifts came from one spirit. So one can possess more gifts for the kingdom use. The parable of the talents has explain the blessedness of gaining more gifts but most people are comfortable with their talents and try to dismiss the parable to refer to physical talents and not spiritual gifts.

My sister's handbag was snatched at Knifepoint by an Aboki man around airforce junction in Port-harcourt. The bag contained her phone, Zenith bank ATM card and other valuables.

Unfortunately, her phone wasn't locked. The thief transferred all her money from her Zenith bank account to her OPay account, then quickly created an OPay card and withdrew the funds by midnight.

We were able to track the exact location of the phone the following day using her google account, before the thief removed the account.

We urgently need help in identifying and tracing the individual(s) who assisted with the OPay card creation and withdrawal.

we have called Opay customer care, but they are not willing to assist.
Opay like other banks has option for virtual card creation. They use the generated card details to make online payment. To track this thief should be easy if physical goods was purchased with the virtual card. Just contact the store to provide details of the culprit and location. But Nigerias case is something I am not understanding. You have to go to police and also secure court order before banks can provide details of fraudulent transactions perpetrators.
