KITCHEN TIPS 1. If you happen to over-salt a pot of soup, just drop in a peeled potato. The potato will absorb the excess salt. 2. When boiling eggs, add a pinch of salt to keep the shells from cracking. 3. Never put citrus fruits(Oranges, Lemons, limes, etc) or tomatoes in the fridge. The low temperatures degrade the aroma and flavor of these fruits.(That's why our tomatoes don't last in the fridge) 4. To clean iron cooking ware, don’t use detergents. Just scrub them with salt and a clean, dry paper towel. 5. When storing empty airtight containers, throw in a pinch of salt to keep them from getting stinky. 6. If you are making gravy(stew) and accidentally burn it, just pour it into a clean pan and continue cooking it. Add sugar a little at a time, tasting as you go to avoid 'over-sugaring'it. The sugar will cancel out the burned taste. 7. Burned a pot of rice? Just place a piece of white bread on top of the rice for 5-10 minutes to draw out the burned flavour. Be careful not to scrape the burned pieces off of the bottom of the pan when serving the rice. 8. Before you chop fresh red peppers, rub a little vegetable oil into your hands and your skin won’t absorb the spiciness. 9. If you aren’t sure how fresh your eggs are, place them in about four inches of water. Eggs that stay on the bottom are fresh. If only one end tips up, the egg is less fresh and should be used soon. If it floats, it’s past the fresh stage. 10. To banish ants from the kitchen, find out where they are coming in and cover the hole with petroleum jelly(Vaseline). Ants won’t trek through the jelly. If they are coming under a door, draw a line on the floor with chalk. The little bugs also won’t cross a line of chalk. 11. Don’t store your bananas in a bunch or in a fruit bowl with other fruits. Separate your bananas and place each in a different location. Bananas release gases which cause fruits (including other bananas) to ripen quickly. Separating them will keep them fresh longer. 12. To keep potatoes from budding in the bag, put an apple in with them. 13. If you manage to have some leftover wine, cocktail drinks at the end of the evening, freeze it in ice cube trays for easy addition to sauces (white wine works wonders in sauces, i don't joke with them) in the future. 14. After boiling pasta or potatoes, cool the water and use it to water your house plants. The water contains nutrients that your plants will love. 15. When defrosting meat from the freezer, pour some vinegar over it. Not only does it tenderize the meat; it will also bring down the freezing temperature of the meat and cause it to thaw quicker. # Noteevery woman should have vinegar in her kitchen or at least a cucumberwink. 16. Do you cry while peeling off onions, then try this. After peeling off your onions, refrigerate the onions for atleast 5minutes, then dice it. You will be glad you did. 17. For aluminium pans that are looking dull, just boil some apple peels in them. This will brighten up the aluminum and make your house smell yummy. 18. If your salt is becoming lumpy, put a few grains of rice in with it to absorb excess moisture. 19. Always keep an aloe vera plant in your kitchen. It’s invaluable when you scrape your arm or burn your finger. Just break off a leaf and rub the gel from the inside on the injury. 20. When making a soup, sauce, that ends up too fatty or greasy, drop in an ice cube. The ice will attract the fat, which you can then scoop out. This works wonders 21. To reuse cooking oil without tasting whatever was cooked in the oil previously, cook a 1/4″ piece of ginger in the oil. It will remove any remaining flavors and odors. 22. If your milk always goes bad before you can finish it, try adding a pinch of salt to the carton when you first open it. It will stay fresh days longer. 23. If two drinking glasses become stuck together after stacking, it’s not impossible to unstick them. Just put ice in the inner glass and dunk the outer glass in warm water. The warm glass will expand and the cold glass will contract, making the glasses separate easily. 24. For splinters under the fingernail, soaking the affected finger in a bowl of milk with a piece of bread in it, it will help .

Youths?!? These are Touts , The youths the Society made The Protesting youths are back in their homes awaiting change and cleansing of the streets. |
The Ogun State Police Command has appealed to End SARS protesters in the state to stop killing and maiming policemen. The police also begged the irate youths to stop attacking police stations all in the name of expressing their grievances. The Ogun police spokesman, Abimbola Oyeyemi, made this plea Wednesday, on behalf of the State Commissioner of Police, Edward Ajogun. According to Oyeyemi, the hitherto peaceful protest embarked upon by youths across Ogun has taken a dangerous and violent dimension, saying “some people with ulterior motives are now using the opportunity to commit all sorts of heinous crimes.” Oyeyemi also confirmed a report, when he said, “Early this morning, the protesters went to Atan-Ota and set the Police station there ablaze; and subsequently murdered the D.C.O, DSP Augustine Ogbeche in cold blood. A civilian also died in the process while some arms were carted away.” He said they also inflicted serious injuries on the DPO, SP Sikiru Olugbenga, whose whereabouts, he said, is yet unknown. Oyeyemi confirmed further that some group of boys attacked Obada-oko divisional headquarters in Abeokuta and vandalized it. “In view of this, the Commissioner of Police Ogun State Command is appealing to the youths to eschew violence and embrace peace as the violence will do no one good. “He is equally appealing to traditional institutions, parents and other critical stakeholders to prevail on the youths to stop this carnage and give the government a chance to address the situation,”. Oyeyemi reminded the youths that since the commencement of the protests, the police in Ogun have been nice and civil to them, even when some of the officers were injured and stations damaged; saying, “We even went ahead and released all the 36 suspects we arrested.” Pleading for understanding, the PPRO said, “if in the course of handling the protests anybody feels offended we plead for understanding and not retaliatory measures including killing and maiming policemen or burning and damaging of police stations.” He assured that the command will ensure that justice is served to any aggrieved person. “Please and please, let us continue to embrace peace rather than violence. The Command sincerely appeals to the youths. Parents and guardians are also enjoined to help rein in their children and wards.” https://www.sagagist.com.ng/2020/10/end-sars-please-stop-killing-us-ogun.html

On Empty Stomachs we woke up The Sun wasn't bright as it usual Our zeal still paramount as usual . We picked up our flags we had slept in To protect ourselves from flies and mosquitoes of the night It doesn't matter how cold the ground was We conquered Thugs came , still we conquered The rain poured down still we conquered We danced , we played , we prayed , days upon days We met new people , We Smiled , we fell in love. we took pictures ,we kept memories ,we remembered We have never felt such Nationalism and belongliness like this in our hearts since our birth not until the Matching began We had hope in our eyes mind and voice even in our hearts We danced again , we laughed harder , we Smiled , we played and we prayed.................. 201020 We woke up again on this hard road Now the pain is getting unbearable Our backs getting stiffened from the flat floors Our flags getting faded Our Aged walking Our emotions frustrated But still Under the hot sun we matched For my children I matched For my Children's children I matched For Every Single Nigerian we matched For the love we collectively have for Nigeria ,the little spark of hope ,we matched We Sang still, we danced , we played and we prayed .... Evening was coming , Our president still hasn't said anything Maybe he hasn't heard , maybe he was planning He was.... We danced harder , laughed harder ,played and Prayed harder The lights went out Our hairs stood up ,we stoped and looked at each other , Trucks were speeding and screeching towards us . Without voices just footsteps followed by rapid gunshots ,first we thought it was air shots but no people were dropping and been picked up both by Soilders and fellow matchers to aid them to safety . But where is safe ? we are left in open field We were left defenceless Literally target practice Children are here Women screamed Holding and curling up around their loved ones Hold your Nigerian flags! We tried to encourage ourselves , still the shots continued as if been automated by drones . We have never seen a gun battle before sadly it will be our last Woman, men and children ..... Nigerians ........Humans running sporadically , been chased like rats , been shot at like Sport . We were enclosed , we were trapped , insticts kicked in people trampled on people ,children and the weak , some ran to their own deaths , others bullets missing their heads by inches , others hit on the side without even knowing , The intense smell of gun powder is unmistakable Blood on the Nigerian Flag Blood on the Military Blood on the hands of the President Blood on the very streets we once slept on Blood on 201020 R.I.P Nigerian heroes May your legacy live on Lekki Slaughter. Kingnutts:No they did not escape , they missed out on Great Nigeria we are building |
MagicBishop:you really have great mind , tbh I'm impressed . |
MagicBishop:well either that or Citizens rule Cameroon's mountains means you cannot stand the melting pot ? I am certain of one thing , and is there's about to be change . |
MagicBishop:it was meant to happen , Never in the history of mankind have we gone a full century without war . So let's brace ourselves |
Truth is every government has plan or back up plan for 'protests ' in it's citizens ,infact they count on it . But a Revolution ,is spontaneous and they know nothing about how to quell it or have plans to stop it , as the citizens has gotten their mind made up. Revolt don't protest if you want changes . Revolt for our children's sake , for our lost fallens Revolt for a better Nigeria |
I think this sums up the clues from the videos already in circulation , and the non intervention of the Wardens. ,This clearly wasn't a jail break. I believe you are right . |
ekestic1976:this is very nessesary for the government to know we are serious , more coming |

Revolution now or never The fear in the body language of this governor speaking with Buhari is disgusting. SO all this while he absolutely knew nothing of what was going on?! Protests are for cowards , you are still waiting till they do something to trigger you to fight! Till they push you to the wall so you can get excuse to fight ?you are not ready to lay foundations for our next generation People die in protest for completely unnecessary reasons . Revolution is when you want change and Answers now , death must be involved but this is how it must go , |
