Ovamboland: You're arguing based off false assertions and it's quite irritating. The election you speak of in Oyo and Ondo state were largely a tie between both parties plus considering all the suffering from your beloveth party APC do you expect total support in 2015 from the state when herdsmen have almost crippled agricultural activities in the state? South west governors from all parties came out to form Amotekun last year and your APC party men like malami were foaming in the mouth like idiots pushing against the governors from protecting their region......PDP and APC are both failures but it has never been this bad. Or should herdsmen take over our land before we get Yoruba presidency No Yoruba man's life is worth the ambitions of tinubu....other regions can be sacrificing the lives of their people for some presidency but not in Yorubaland. I have no issues with tinubu but he went to the north instead of picking from a range of better leaders in the north he went on to partner with a sick dog called buhari and we're all seeing the consequences for that. I don't play party politics, it's tribal politics as long as it's a Yoruba that has his regions interest. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Ovamboland: Last time I checked the governor of Ondo state is an APC party man, and ''constituted authority" of blessed memory who was the former governor was also an APC man before he ruined the image of the party in Oyo state. I suspect you're an APC Northerner who is expecting absolute support for APC. 4 Likes |

But OP....at the end of the day, on the flip side of things. Look at which region has experienced more peace compared to other regions in Nigeria. North is dealing with banditry and terrorism. South east is dealing with unknown gunmen and ipob. South south just finished dealing with militancy not so long ago. With all their clannishness and agenda what has it brought them except for sorrow, pain and tears. The only downside is the increased in flow of economic migrants into our region. Yorubas just need to learn how to balance the liberalism and conservatism, be more logical, politically aware and tribally conscious. 10 Likes 3 Shares |

The one's usually supporting nyamiris are usually largely politically ignorant and emotional. Their excuse is either "I grew up with igbos" "I am married to Igbo" or just social media bandwagon effect (usually on Twitter) or probably because some religious bias. Unfortunately some others can also give the same excuse of growing up with fulanis or ghanaians. The group that usually gives excuses like these are usually the young ignorant ones. 9 Likes 1 Share |

I see some stupid idiot Yoruba's now talking about south west agenda/ SWAGA or suwegbe but were active critcs of Sunday Igboho mocking him for Yoruba nation.... I'd say it's far worse with SW BMC dullards who sometimes make me wish that SW isn't given presidency for the treachery they display online......you can sell your self out but never sell your people out....I have great disregard and disrespect for such people and actively take mental notes of such individuals to ensure not to relate or do any form of business with them. 3 Likes |

Someone like seun osewa also needs to answer this question. But let me play the the devil's advocate and answer the question. OP, despite our many flaws as yorubas we believe alot in democracy and an egalitarian society, it's why the British hated Yoruba's so much.. we were too uppity for them, it's why we have more civil rights activists compared to other regions, it's why the egbas rebelled against my ibadan ancestors, it's why we have Fela, falana, Joe odumakin and the likes.....On the other hand you can't deny the existence of self serving yorubas who are naturally sycophants and asskissers who either do it for clout, or material gain. And there are those who also do it for sentimental and emotional reasons(my mama na igbo, I am half fulani) And there are those who are more loyal to political party than their tribe. It goes both ways, some Yoruba's would join abokis to bad mouth a Sunday Igboho who is their fellow Yoruba and come back to complain when equally foolish Yorubas like them bad mouth tinubu with the nyamiris 11 Likes 3 Shares |

God bless this woman. Yoruba women are really top tier women, if we Yoruba's can take this up as a culture we would be better off. You don't need to reach her level before you start helping, start with something small. I personally have decided to give out 5% of my yearly earnings to charitable causes in my community and hope to increase it. A giving hand is always up and never lacks, do the same. 4 Likes 2 Shares |
