HornyTave: Okpameri speaks Yoruba, same way the ND speak Pidgin they also have yoruba names but they are not Yoruba.
an average Opkameri Indingene understands
1. English 2. Opkameri. 3. Yoruba 4. pidgin 5. most times each village has a distinct language... then they should claim us not vice versa we are not eboe land grabbers |

kmcutez: No they don’t. The white scientist just included it recently because their race was being mocked for having Neanderthal and Denisovan DNA. Africans don’t have those recessive genes in their dna. now that's a bad way to think I hope you know that not everything is about racism peace and love the scientist may not even be white |

shma2020 Nigerian pidgin has actually left the pidgin status it's a mixture of french, English, Portuguese, Spanish and about 100 Nigerian languages I'll call it a Creole this is John 3 :16 in pidgin
Bikos God luv di pipol wey dey dis wold wel-wel, E kon send di onli pikin wey E get to us, so dat enibodi wey biliv am, nor go die, bot e go get life wey nor dey end.
there's no way a non Nigerian will understand this well |

Shma2020: Brother, I've heard of pidgin.
pidgin /ˈpɪdʒɪn/ Learn to pronounce noun noun: pidgin; plural noun: pidgins a grammatically simplified form of a language, typically English, Dutch, or Portuguese, some elements of which are taken from local languages, used for communication between people not sharing a common language. another term for Tok Pisin. noun: Pidgin denoting a simplified form of a language, especially as used by a non-native speaker. "we exchanged greetings, communicating in pidgin Spanish"
Pidgin did not originate from Nigeria either, pidgin is a simplified form of communicating English language. Nigerian pidgin why are you acting like a 4 year old? |

Shma2020: English itself originated from Britain. That means, you've copied their lingua franca already and blended it with your language of origin which are:- Yoruba, igbo and hosanna or I don't know what? have you heard of pidgin? that's the blend Nigerian English is different accent is different from language |

rvp20182: Kenya I think is better than both SA and Uganda - at least the urban kenya English. There is a lot of tribal interference even in the upper class of Uganda and South Africa - an hint of West Africa mess.
West Africans simply turn English (Nasal Language) into Kiswahili/Japanase/Latin (Tonal Languages).
They simply turn English into Yoruba or Ibo or Fulani - and literally pronounce words as they are written - more like Kiswahili. yet the Nigerian accent is easier to listen to we don't need to copy the British we are Africans |

NaijirianKing: This is sad, very unfortunate that one would be calling for tribal war at a time when peace, unity and brotherhood are what's necessary.
There is enough land for all tribes to have their fair share, the only problem emerges when the select few are ready to harm others or even lose their own lives over land.
There is no monopoly on violence and each tribe can cause trouble for themselves and others, it is best for peace and accommodation to reign, or else we may see an increase in farmer/herder clashes until a peaceful land-sharing formula is agreed to. Each side deserves to use and live on the land as much as the other.
Let's seek peace, unity and accommodation. No one deserves to lose the life Allah has given them over something as vast and plentiful as land. you're decieving yourself |

NaijirianKing: Tribalism at its finest.
My brother, how can Fulani not be indigenous to Nigeria, while at the same time millions of Nigerians queued up to elect a Fulani man, not once but twice over other tribes?
Please, stop spreading hate speech.
Fulani are just as much Nigerian as any other tribe. If not more so, since the Fulani are located in every state and every local government bringing development and positively contributing. I already told you when it's time CAR will repeat in Nigeria start choosing which sahelian country you want Niger Chad Mali |

TMKsouth: Technically, yes - Sothos are from Lesotho. But SA also has indigenous Sothos mostly concentrated in the Free State province (bordering Lesotho). There are actually millions more SA Sothos than Basotho in Lesotho.
Lesotho has 2 million people. SA has 7 million Sothos.
But I'm Sotho/Tswana (as in Botswana). But same thing applies there too. More Tswanas in SA than Botswana. I know of these stuff I read African books a lot I was just making sure 'cause in Nigeria many names are shared by different people and a book can't tell as well as a person I kinda feel the Zulus should secede with KwaZulu Natal and call it KwaZulu the Xhosa too and the ancient Khoisan Africa has really nice and very diverse culture check out the African history channel in my siggy - trust me you'll not be disappointed |
