out of 33 federal position, Ironsi gave or appointmented 31 easterners and gave or appointmented 1 from the north region and another from the western region
it should not noted that Ironsi suspended the Regional Federal Constitution and impose a unitary military constitution.
It should be noted that Ironsi and azekiwe was believe with some Igbo's to plot the first coup in Nigeria.
After the counter coup by mostly military personnel from the northern region, the unitary government that aguyi ironsi wanted to use to favour the igbo eastern region automatically was use and favoured the northern region. Thus the problem of Nigeria And they now shout marginalisation God is great |

Warripikine: The foolanis conquered the hausas/minorities and installed emirs..
The foolanis also conquered kwara state..
Sometime around 1535, the Nupe(so called minority) occupied Oyo and forced its ruling dynasty to take refuge in the kingdom of Borgu...
Oyo subjugated the kingdom of Dahomey in the west in two phases (1724–30, 1738–48) and traded with European merchants on the coast through the port of Ajase..
Pls which tribe did the Igbo's acquire through conquest U were never strong and you were kinda too decentralised Dahomey fought with You We won several times Even at Abeokuta after the dissolution of the Oyo empire And the Fulani overtook Ilorin not Kwara |

But i don't support u on this one, we want the Sovereign State of Biafra comprising of the Igbo, Ibibio, Anang, Urhobo, Ogoja, Itchekiri, Idoma, Efik, Ogoni, Igala, Esan, Anioma, Igede, Opobo, Bonny etc. And not a Biafra country with Fulanis from the sahel. middlebelter: Why bring Yoruba to this matter. The day the average Igbo man stops seeing a Yoruba man as an enemy or threat that's the day Nigeria will be best.
Here's is someone that made a comment from the SS based on his opinion about Igbo, what you should do is to alley the fear rather you attached the Yorubas. It is best to choose your fight wisely. Don't start seeing everyone as enemy( including your frineds and allied).
Is there any region outside Igboland that is as accommodating to the Igbos in this country today as in Yorubaland? Let them keep antagonising everyone |

Kanu is coming to change the living standard of Akwa Ibomite through restoration of Biafra. The earlier you support IPOB, the better for you. BiafIntel: The nine top oil producing states in Nigeria are:
Akwa Ibom- the largest oil producer with 31.4% (504,000 BPD) - Igbo territories in this state produce over 7% of the oil. Delta – 21.56% (346,000 BPD) - Igbo territories in this state produce over 50% of the oil. Rivers – 21.43% (344,000 BPD) - Igbo territories in this state produce over 70% of the oil. Bayelsa – 18.07% (290,000 BPD) - Igbo territories in this state produce over 5% of the oil. Ondo – 3.74% (60,000 BPD) Lagos – 2.64% (40,000 BPD) Edo – 2.06% (33,000 BPD) - Igbo territories in this state produce over 1% of the oil. Imo-1.06 % (17,000 BPD) - Pipelines are laid from this state into Rivers state where the Oil in this state is exploited and sold. Abia-0.68% (11,000 BPD) - Pipelines are laid from this state into Rivers state where the Oil in this state is exploited and sold. Enugu - Has unexploited oil and gas reserves. Anambra - Has unexploited oil and gas reserves. Ebonyi - Has unexploited oil and gas reserves.
All in All, Igboland has the largest oil and gas reserve in the whole world. Britain knows this. Part of the reason, plus Igbo's ingenuity is the reason why they want to die over Igbo/Biafra matter, but in the end, Biafra MUST be free. Quoteɗ for the future Hilarious |

Is it not Ebonyi that 25 braves died? Where was ESN? dared0637: The Ebonyi Killings was a cowardly hit and run attack against unsuspecting okada men along the border communities in Ebonyi, surely you don't expect ESN to be everywhere at once when we are supposed to have a governor? Are you aware the people of that community that were attacked rejected help from ESN and preferred security from the vigilantes who failed to protect them? and whom do you think flushed out residues of armed fulani bandits from Ebonyi state after the military failed to show up? if not for ESN we will still be hearing about incessant massacres in Ebonyi like is the situation in Benue, or even a refugee crisis like the yorubas in Benin Republic. I didn't expect anything less You guys don't think Coldsperm: Are you not aware that over 30 Fulanis were killed in the bush bordering Ebonyi and Enugu states after the fulani attacks on those villages by this same ESN you love to castigate since you claim to know all that is happening in the East. Why the whole Fulani ran away from Ebonyi state when they heard of the killings of their Kinsmen. Are you not aware that Umahi the Ebonyi governor even told the Fulanis not to return yet till all hot tempers are cooled. Can you compare that to Benue that Fulanis are still moving freely in their bushes. You people should learn to acknowledge good things at times. All this grammar for what? Lol Are the 25 killed not brave "courageous pure breed" Igbos unlike the coward afonja?? And you mock the Yoruba in Benin republic |

kestolove95: A biafran cannot nd will never be chief of army staff..we still have report how ihejirka was exporting and stockpiling weapon in east while he was COAS You are not normal Antoeni: The nation has 4 Military Service Chiefs. 2 are from the South and 2 are from the North.
The CDS is the overall Military boss, with the 3 other Service Chiefs, including the COAS, reporting to him.
1) Chief of Defence Staff: General Lucky Irabor. Delta State, (Igbo heritage).
2) Chief of Army Staff: Major General Farouk Yahaya. Sokoto State.
3) Chief of Naval Staff: Rear Admiral Awwal Zubairu Gambo. Kano State.
4) Chief of Air Staff: [Air-Vice Marshal Ishiaka Oladayo Amao. Osun State.
Contrary to the misinformation being peddled, the COAS is not higher in position than the CDS. The CDS is the top Military Man in Nigeria, answering only to the President who is C-In-C.
The nation has probably become aware of the work of COAS, because of the war against terrorism, and the role of the Army in that battle.
That however does not make COAS the Military head of the Armed Forces.
It is also important to note that the Military is not just the Army. The Military comprises the Army, Airforce and Navy.
The 4 men pictured are the top Military officers we have, and are in charge of fighting the war against terrorism.
Whether we support or detest the Government, our Military deserves our support. This is nonsense sir |

Those who weren't blind to see what's been happening in the east are the UGM You mean terrorists? You'll remember Keep supporting UGM temitope27: No Yoruba man as ever become the COAS , so y the noise from South East They have the persecution complex They feel they are hated by everyone To them Anything else than dominance is marginalisation and hatred Quality20: I as an Igbo man support the sacking of D's new coas and the d appointment of an Igbo coas, but only on d following conditions 1. Government must ensure his life is safe as coas. 2.
