ONE of the presidential aspirants on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Prof. Akasoba Duke Abiola alleged yesterday that President Goodluck Jonathan was in possession of her expression of interest and nomination forms, just as she said that the president plans to use her form to contest the 2015 election.
Speaking with Journalists yesterday in Abuja, Akasoba Duke Abiola who insisted that she would not abide by the decision of the party to endorse President Jonathan as its sole candidates, said that even after paying her N2 million nomination form and also being the first aspirant to pay for the presidential form, the party denied her the form.
Although she has gone to court to challenge the decision of the party, the aspirant who described the action of the party against her and millions of voters as discriminatory and a coup d’etat against democracy, said, “It is an abrogation of the Constitution, a flagrant violation of fundamental human rights and contrary to all international protocols and conventions to which Nigeria is a signatory including the United Nations Charter. Succinctly put, this is a clear case of political violence against women. This has become a global conversation as the endorsement of one aspirant cannot metamorphose into the trampling on the fundamental right.
“In the interest of integrity, transparency and accountability, we submit that form 001 should have been given to me, since I was the first to pay and the first to arrive the party secretariat for the form.”
Prof. Abiola who noted that she has been excluded from the party convention, even as a presidential aspirant, however accused Jonathan of being in possession of her presidential form, adding, “it is my submission that the party should give me my form. Someone got my nomination form and that person is in Aso Rock and he should give me my form.
“If there is any ratification at the convention on Wednesday for any person that person will be standing in for me.
“The President is intimidating us, let Nigeria tell that person, the President to give me my nomination form. I am not scared of them and nobody will settle me, I am not for settling. Jonathan should give me my form and if he does not, he is depriving me of my right. If there is any ratification at the convention, Jonathan is poaching my delegates.”

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, yesterday, for the first time opened up on the third term agenda in the twilight of his two-term presidency, accusing some Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governors of being behind the third term project because they were going to benefit from it.
At the launch of his autobiography titled: ‘My Watch’, at the Lagos Country Club, Ikeja, Obasanjo denied seeking a third term but admitted he knew about it.
Obasanjo, who said he was not afraid of telling the truth, insisted that everything he wrote in the book was true.
According to him, “People say that it was obvious that I wanted a third term and I ask those who say I was behind the third term to bring concrete evidence to prove that I spearheaded it. I have presented evidence in my book that proves that I was not behind it, even though I knew about it. Some governors were the ones behind it because they felt the governors would benefit from it. If people say that it was obvious that I wanted a third term, they should present concrete evidence to the public that I am telling a lie. I have evidence to prove that everything I wrote is true and anyone that feels otherwise should present concrete evidence to prove his point.
“Third term was not my agenda or intention although I would not say I didn’t know about it. I didn’t mastermind third term. Those who were telling me to go on were the governors that were going to benefit from it.”
The former president also said he had no regrets in his involvement on how both late Yar’Adua and Dr Goodluck Jonathan became presidents saying, “I don’t regret bringing in Yar’Adua and Jonathan. If they don’t do well, those coming from behind should learn from me and do better”.
He added that he was not infallible and people should learn from his action.
He also said that he had sought avenues to ventilate his observations and positions with President Jonathan but had to resort to writing open letters to him because his efforts were frustrated.
He also commented on the injunction restraining him from publishing his autobiography.
He said: “I had given the book to my editors and to the publisher. As far as I am concerned, my job is done. I had written the book and printed before the court injunction. In a normal judiciary, the judge should be sanctioned and I hope something will be done. We are here legally and lawfully and we will continue to act lawfully and legally.”
Yar’Adua deceived me, says Obasanjo
Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, accused his late successor, Alhaji Umaru Musa Yar’Adua of deceiving him, before he became the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2007 about the seriousness of his illness which he never recovered from till he died in office.
In his yet-to-be-released three-part volume of his memoirs titled My Watch, which was exclusively obtained by an online journal, The Cable Alert, Obasanjo revealed how late Yar’Adua gave him the impression that he had overcome his health challenges and did not act responsibly when he eventually became terminally ill.
Obasanjo was instrumental to late Yar’Adua picking the PDP presidential ticket but frequently fell ill after his election and eventually died in May 2010, paving the way for the incumbent president, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan who was then vice-president to become acting president. Obasanjo was thereafter accused of deliberately installing a terminally ill Yar’Adua, a Northerner, as president in order to eventually return power to the south through the back door.

FORMER president Chief Olusegun Obasanjo appears to have accepted President Goodluck Jonathan's plea to forget past spats between the two of them and work with the incumbent to secure victory at next year's general elections.

Over recent months, Chief Obasanjo has been a fierce critic of the present government, saying that the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan has not delivered. He has accused the government of performing below average and in one instance published a letter accusing the Jonathan administration of hiring an army of assassins to take out political opponents.

Worried about the fact that he may not get the former president's support in next year's elections, President Jonathan sent five People Democratic Party (PDP) governors to go and plead with Chief Obasanjo yesterday. They travelled to Abeokuta to offer an olive branch on their boss's behalf and after prostrating before him, it appears that Chief Obasanjo has agreed to bury the hatchet.

After the meeting, Chief Obasanjo said that the current economic and security situations in the country are redeemable. He added that the country could still be salvaged if those involved had genuine concern for the wellbeing of Nigeria's citizenry, pointing out that his current posture was not to witch-hunt anyone but to find a lasting solution to the nation’s many challenges.

Chief Obasanjo said: “Something can still be done and what is required now is the will and the courage to do something when and how it needs to be done. We have discussed most of what I have raised in my own public pronouncement in recent times, which is not to castigate anybody, not to bad-mouth anybody and not to run anybody down."

He urged those in government to put all hands on deck as the task is not for one man and it is not even a task for one group but one that requires everyone. Among the governors who visited him were Liyel Imoke of Cross River, Babangida Aliyu of Niger, Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom, Sule Lamido of Jigawa and Isa Yuguda of Bauchi.

Reacting on behalf of the delegation, Governor Akpabio said the government was determined to reposition the country, adding that no matter what challenges the country faces today, they must work together to redeem the situation. He added that the government was willing to consult with other elders to ensure that the country was redeemed.

Governor Aliyu commended the former president for allowing them to tap from his experience, adding that they were determined to work together for the betterment of the country. They now expect Chief Obasanjo to campaign rigorously alongside President Jonathan when he tours the country over the coming months.

Apparently, President Goodluck had been worried about the fact that although Chief Obasanjo is still a PDP member, almost all his loyalists have joined the opposition All Progressives Congress. After leaving Abeokuta the governors flew to Minna the Niger State capital to confer with former military ruler General Ibrahim Babangida.

Notice those two verses. In verse 6 He began by talking to God, "Thy throne O GOD is forever". Then he said "Therefore GOD, thy God hath anointed thee".

So God (The Father) anointed God (The Son). Did you see it?

Personally, I myself don't believe in the Trinity gospel. I believe Jesus is not the same person as the Father; but I believe Jesus is God (Elohim) just like the Father, according to the scriptures I have shown you and others.

According to Jesus in John 14v28b -For my Father is greater than I.

The Father is greater in authority than Jesus; because He prays to His Father (John 17v1), and He was begotten of the Father (John 1v14) but Jesus is also God too. Those scriptures make that clear.

Infact the only names of the Father that Jesus doesn't share or bare (according to my study -which i stand to be corrected) are Ancient of Days and Most High. Other than that He is also Elohim and even Yahova, like the Father.

Agree with me that "most" of those verses were believed, perceived and written by people through the help of Holy Spirit.
