Please how much do you think it will take to set up a Cocoa farm in a Greenhouse farm of about 1 acre of land.

This cost estimate should include the cost of the green houses also.

Cocoa name is TC4

Starts fruiting 12 calendar months after transplant.

It produces 4,000kg/hectare averagely, annually.

It is usually irrigated to get this yield right from planting.

Spacing is 3m * 3m, giving 1,100 plant population/hectare.

Production peaks at 5-25 years after planting.

It thrives well on GAP ( Good Agronomic Practice).

This is the new phase of cocoa farming.

Costly to set-up to an average Nigerian farmer but benefits, outstanding.

Needs a lot of planning, calculations and set-up precision.

Full payment, 4 months before pickup.

It is possible to cross from agric to medicine.

If you study agronomy, animal science, agric biology, environmental science, crop protection,entomology, pest management, wildlife management, fisheries, veterinary science/technology.
If you have any of those in your first degree, you can do a PGD in virology, parasitology, public health, and many other courses that makes you convert to medical lines.

I like engineering, so I did GIS in soil management in my masters degree and I could work as a *quack*(laughs) geologist, hydrologist, road designs, town and regional planning, agric engineering, soil and water engineering and a couple of other fields using Geospatial tools.

Your world is endless, you just need to speak with the right people. Move with the right people. People in the picture in your head.

Have you measured cassava with scale on the farm before loading the trucks before?

I have done that.

Have you supplied trailer load of cassava to the factory before?

How many baskets of cassava fill up the cabster truck?

What is the weight of a basket of cassava?

Many times, things are not as we see it
