But it doesn't mean we should loose our freedom to say what we fvckin want to say..... countries send youths to war and use bombs on each other but we'd get cancelled for saying the "f" word. Plus fvckin gulaging people's opinions doesn't solve shit only breeds resentment and low key bedroom racists. It's now even soo bad in the western world that you just can't spank your kid anyhow.... it's fvcked up. That's exactly how Trump won. Man this mindset has now reached nairaland It is very simple, if a woman does not like you, it's either you are not rich, fine or her personality is in conflict with yours. If you want act like a demon, as long as you posses attractive traits she will find you attractive. Telling people to be themselves is a worthless piece of advice because it does not solve anything and encourages men to continue self destructive behaviour. It's feel good nonsense which should have died years ago. |

mfm04622: It is people who can't defend their opinion that resort to insults! Why did you remove what I wrote before you responded? Ok, 4 states have coordinated this. What would you have done as a governor of any of the states? Government don't know who and where the bandits are, yet they are being killed both on ground and from the air! If you can't provide a viable alternate to their actions, I won't engage you again You deserve even more than that because your ilk have been saying the same daft statements and promises in defence of this administration since 2019 while people were being killed left and right. People who post propaganda in spite of facts don't deserve to be engaged in any dignified manner. The southern governors have already given you a solution, create a regional security outfit, shoot and arrest any criminal herdsman on sight. It's not like these killings started last week. The Niger State governor has been talking about how bandits need to be "taken care of". Katsina State governor was busy taking pictures and smiling with them when they "surrendered". Bandits still attack weekly and collect huge sums. Well done to Northern governors! |

Isn't the closing of the cattle markets a sign that the government is failing and a large scale Fulani invasion under the guise of cattle rearing is taking place?
Yesterday Miyetti Allah threatened southern governors and Ortom for daring to enforce state laws. Why haven't they been arrested, invited or even cautioned?
Why is this one group allowed to "heat up the polity" while others are silenced?
You say the government is aware of the bandits yet invited the commodore to tell them about the people they are already aware of?

Nobody is depending crime or criminality, I don't talk about human right here, I'm just talking abt the importance of ending the seemingly unending war. If all cultist are to be killed some regions would've few youths left. This fight against BH is still ongoing and it will keep going until they're either killed or surrendered! But this is not ending the war, this is just a massive distraction, the insurgency has spread all over the country in the form of ''banditry''. Zulum has said the repentant Boko boys spy and when they get bored return to continue killing again. Letting the small fish go and leaving their main sponsors won't do anything but let's continue deceiving ourselves. |

Boko Haram does not need amnesty, they all need a bullet to the skull. How will terrorists who killed, raped and destroyed for decades be given a slap on the wrist for it?
You only remember human rights and United nations treaties when Arewa terrorists are concerned, but rejoice at the bloodshed of southern youths.
You forgot that even in war many of the enemy leaders who committed crimes against humanity were executed. In Nigeria the punishment for even one of such crimes is death, if they were cultists they would all receive death penalties, why are we setting these bastards free?
Continue to deceive yourselves, at least its the North that is suffering the majority of it's own foolishness. |

Richy4:
Ask him to kneel in front of the class? An undergraduate? who is aspiring to be an engineer, doctor, lawyer etc? How does that even sound to you buddy?
Since when have kneeling down in front of the class becomes a conducive way of learning?.. maybe u guys should revisit the meaning of university and the activities that are carried out in the place.. then the conversation might flow nicely... Every institution have rules and regulations... Humiliation is not part of that.. just ask anyone that is in institution management...
When a student misbehaved in a class every lecturer knows what to do.. and it was mostly talked about in their meetings... But hey what can say... Without mincing words many Nigerians still think like they are in the stone age. Maybe its frustration that's making them think this is acceptable. When they go abroad this stupid behaviour magically disappears. |

Fiscus105: Even comments here on nairaland show the types of undergraduates we are breeding at moment, most are kids and totally immature minds, in which it needs extra ordnary measures to tame nonsense in their behaviors.
I blame NECO, WAEC won't be spared as well. They completely rubbish their standards, kids hardly do WAEC twice before they enter into the universities, at 15, immature minds getting admission into the ivory towers already. Nigerian mentality at it's finest, proud ignorance and praising ridiculous measures. You guys are just in love with suffering and nonsense. Imagine thinking because you failed WAEC everyone must fail. That same mentality which is responsible for brilliant minds having their destinies arrested in Nigeria. I hope we move on from this sufferhead mentality, maybe then we can have universities fit for human beings and not animals. |

mikezuruki: I commend the lecturer for taking such an approach.
Students feel they can do whatever they like in the name of being in the university.
And for those saying "glorify secondary school" my advice is for you guys to grow up. Imagine such stupid thinking Wearing a shirt is now "doing whatever you like?". Nigerians have not outgrown the stupid mentality of their colonial masters. A grown adult wearing a shirt o, not a 5 year old child. If he's messing up, send the guy out to the class, all this power tripping like kneeling down is unnecessary. When will Nigerians learn? |
