Ikpeyi:
Kudos to Chibuike Amaechi, and PMB for such massive infrastructure... But our problem has always been maintenance culture...

How will that edifice look like in the next 5 years?

They should privatize it

Hon. Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba for 2023...
You should thank China for building the railway as part of their belt and road initiative which they want to use to maintain global economic dominance.

Anyone who sees this project as solely the work of the Buhari administration is a fool. If Nigerians were solely in charge of the project it would be just like the Lagos-Ibadan expressway or the 4th mainland bridge.

I don't blame you guys though, constant poverty and mediocrity is what got us to this point.

The crash in OIL PRICE crashed the economy, not Buhari.

The nation could not cope with the price crash because the Jonathan regime looted the treasury, and saved little if anything.
The oil price crash is to blame, that's why he closed the borders for two years, cutting off land trade after the country barely recovered from a recession.

Looting was a problem, that's why NDDC caretakers were acting drama and continued stealing all under Buhari's fat nose.

After 6 years you're still blaming Jonathan.

What an idiot! America is free to blacklist Chinese tech companies but Nigeria can't protect it's online integrity? You're seriously mad Matthew Page.
If e sure for you go and tell him to his face. grin

The bastard called Lai Mohammed was busy selling falsehoods about twitter agreeing to his demands, twitter quickly came and said no such talks were happening.

The bastard is struggling to reopen twitter so he can push the 2023 agenda while still saving face.

Such a stupid man is in charge of a major ministry and many stupid followers support the idiot when it actively harms them.

What a suicidal bunch of fools grin

It won't as long as he keeps to the regulatory compliance policies that NITDA have provided.

You need to read the NITDA policies and the associated NDPR to see how it protects the subject.

A lot of people's data have fallen into the wrong hands because it is being sold.
The bill is foolish and any individual who supports it has not read it.

It means anyone who operates a website in Nigeria without a government license can be sent to prison for one year or be forced to pay 3 million naira in fines.

How does that help protect anyone?

We at LIZARDBBQGRILLS love that Nigerians are now refugees in their own country.

We support the moves our darling daddy has made to ensure Nigeria becomes the biggest grazing reserve and refugee camp in the world.

We use this opportunity to say a happy "Sai Baba" and 4+4+4+4+4+4+4+4+4 to all the patriotic Nigerians who support this initiative.

No, Nigeria humbled Twitter.
No how did Nigeria humble twitter?

It only exposed the stupidity of the government, especially Malami, Adamu Garba and Lai Mohammed.

The stupid government pushed Kroo nobody went for it, you can't even mention the stupid app's name on Nairaland grin, they pushed Crowwe and the app got removed, the court ruled that nobody can be arrested for using twitter and the opposition constantly mocked the government for it.

Now the election is around the corner and APC had allowed people who hate the Buhari administration to control the narrative online. grin

The Federal government has nothing to lose. Twitter is losing revenue and that’s why they are willing to meet the conditions given to them by Federal government.

They will register in Nigeria as a business entity, open office in Nigeria, pay tax in Nigeria, subject their operation to NCC regulation and respect the sovereignty of Nigeria. That’s all we ask for.

No matter how you wailers try to spin this, it’s a big win for the Federal Republic of Nigeria and hopefully, other countries will learn how to curb the tyranny of big techs from Nigeria.
2023 is coming and they need to spew their propaganda and create more brainless zombies.

Because the government or rather people with money don't have any plans for you. Nigeria has many problems but because we can live off oil profits nobody wants to develop anything past being barely functional.

That's so insensitive for you to say, given the number of soldiers who'd lost their lives on the frontline, and those who put their lives on the line, just to ensure you're safe. Without their action, you wouldn't be here typing this insensitive comment. If they should go on strike now, that your hefty neighbour would be the first to attack you, as there'd be a return to the life of the jungle, only the fittest would survive.
Please shut up. There must always be one fool under these kinds of posts who deliberately misses what the other person is trying to say.

If Nigerian soldiers gave a damn about your bloody civilian life to kill or even manhandle any civilian would be hard for them but they do it every day like it's bread and butter.

Many times they go missing while bandits attack, if not for social media bringing to light the widespread stupidity going on in their camps entire villages would have become graveyards.
