Gbagura:yes, they do (at least in my location) |
Ex0rrcist:if I talk too much, dem go say I be agent Lol. P2P on Binance is even about 740 today |
jetoraphy:Nope. Not necessarily. I've ordered various items with AliExpress Standard Shipping as the choice, and it most definitely always come through Speedaf for me. |
Lucasinho:No. ...you must leave/hold at least $1 in your card after whatever amount you want to withdraw. If you're looking to get all your money off somehow, buy a $1 item and that takes your balance to $0.00 |
Nah, Gotok is about to become elite. Funding card with NGN is coming in latest update. Card works on all sites whose denomination for payment is in USD, and has a $100,000 Limit/month plus, you can fund with crypto if you wish. For the smart guys, you take advantage of the volatility of the market (ie. sell a crypto for USD when it rises). You get more value for your money than just say funding with USDT, BUSD at a go in one point in time. Download Gotok: https://links.gotok.app/xFXcN4Nzv6XCEy9ZA
|
Auskyd:Ready for collection. If you haven't received a call yet, they'll call you to notify. |
emeraldlife:It does not work anymore for AliExpress (or any service which places the denomination of payment in anything other than Naira). |
Joeyjones:Wrong thread to ask, but I'll answer you: You may pay for an item with local cards if the payment currency is in Naira (of which Google Play shows as). I've not used my real local ATM card for in-app purchases, but I use GoMoney card (by Sterling Bank). GoMoney card holds in Naira and previously one could use it on AliExpress, albeit with the limit of $20 per month (*they did the conversion and the rate used to be 490/$). Anyway, let me not divert. If you want to buy the premium version of an app (in-app purchase), a mini Google Play modal should popup and show you the value in Naira, and you should be able to pay with a Naira card since the denomination is in Naira (not sure if our local bank cards would permit, but I used GoMoney's virtual card and have paid for countless app purchases including game currencies from codm, apex mobile etc). The temporary charge means what it means — "temporary". It'll be refunded. Time frame? I don't know. |
samoy:Even if I wanted to check it, I wouldn't use your link. Oga rest! U don over spam this thread. |
jadajada:Just simply wait it out. Unless you paid for Express shipping, max no. of days items can get to you is 60days. |
Jokzy77:As far as I know, complete verification of Binance account is once only. If you're referring to Gotok, yes you'll need to verify your Gotok account before you can create a card, fund it or even do any tangible thing in the app. (verification is with BVN or NIN. I'll advise you to use NIN) |
Jokzy77:you are not sending any crypto from anywhere to Gotok address. There is no Gotok address (*Gotok is not a crypto wallet). Do this: Setup your Binance account fully (**Use the mobile app!), verify it, have any crypto in Binance account (preferably usdt, usdc, busd, bnb). Check in your Binance account for a service/option labelled "Binance Pay" and setup it completely (ie. watch a video how it works, create a simple pin to authorise Binance Pay transactions, turn on Biometric authentication too for easy transactions). Once you've setup your Binance account fully (as described above), open Gotok and select Binance Pay as a funding source, input how much amount of $$$ you want to fund the card with, then proceed. It'll automatically create a Binance Pay QR-code and redirect straight to Binance to authorise the transaction. Type your Binance Pay pin (or use fingerprint authentication if you had set it up). The transaction will be verified and confirmed. You'll then see the $$$ on your Gotok card. That's all. |
nani667:Select Binance Pay if you have any crypto in your Binance account (it doesn't necessarily have to be usdt, busd or usdc)..... same applies for Solana Pay. OR Connect your Solana wallet which you have funds in, and go on. |
Tochex101:basically, not really but you get a fair chance because you'll be buying USDT, BUSD USDC or any crypto via P2P rates which is considerably lower than fintech app rates (eg. on chipper cash, the rate is currently about 780/$ but via P2P on Binance, you can get USDT, busd, usdc for 740/$ or less |
Lucasinho:As I explained in previous messages, if you don't know how crypto works in general, please ignore using Gotok or similar apps which fund cards with crypto. The process of funding the card on Gotok is easy and straightforward as just inputting numbers and clicking "ok". However, you need to take care of the part that has to do with having funds on your Binance account and knowing how to navigate different crypto things in general (for your own good). If it's too much to learn, I'll advise you to stick to regular virtual card services or Dom account. |
pinkylovely:I see no issue. Typically, if you did your due research before ordering an item (ie. check reviews, number of items ordered/sold, the seller's profile, pictures from people who bought etc), you'll receive the item just fine. Unless you changed the shipping to DHL or any Express shipping services, don't expect to receive your item within a month (there are some rare cases). So if you choosed "free shipping" or "AliExpress standard shipping", give it 2 months max from the day you got the notification saying "item shipped!". |
Lucasinho:Mastercard |
nani667:if you've verified your account, click "new card" and follow prompts to fund the card |
Plus no $20 limit on Gotok, so if you want to buy big items, go for it. People dey even use the card to order Starlink (which is like $600) |
Orire01:Nice. Enjoy |
nani667:Omo. That's robbery |
BannedUser:Nice! more services will go this route (ie. funding card with crypto). I don tire to open account with many traditional fiat virtual card services. |
solace89:Hi, sorry no DMs. I meant, if you work in the crypto space in any position (developer, support, community moderator etc), very obviously your salary will be in crypto already and it's just for you to swap to usdc, usdt, busd etc and use to fund your virtual cards which supports them. |
nani667:Their rate is one of the highest. Chipper cash & Payday |
solace89:yh, it works well on iOS. This route with Gotok is ideally for people who earn in crypto or receive payouts/salaries in a stablecoin already. |
BannedUser:yh, the app is clean. I don't think they are directly affiliated with Binance, but they did an AMA with Binance Africa recently. |
pat077:Store the usdt on your Binance account, then go to Gotok and following prompts to fund the card |
BannedUser:The app design look poor/scammy |
Mrluv:Binance Pay is simply a service offered within your Binance account (it's not independent). As a friendly advice, if you don't know how crypto works, by all means please ignore this route I explained. Try to follow the conventional Nigerian Dom account or find a virtual USD card service with fair rate like most people do |
pat077:They support Binance Pay & Solana Pay. So if you don't have a Binance account, but you have a Solana wallet, send the USDT to your Solana wallet (be sure to select "SOL" as the network if you're sending it from another Exchange which supports it). Then open Gotok, and fund via Solana Pay. It'll ask you to connect your wallet (*don't import your private-keys). Just simply connect your Solana wallet and the usdt will be used in the conversion to USD which you'll get on the virtual card Anyway, I'm not interested in Solana ecosystem so Binance Pay fits just well for me. |
pat077:Nope, as far as I can see. There is just a 1% fee for funding the card. So, if you want to load up $10 on the card via Binance Pay, it'll be 10.1 BUSD converted from your Binance account, and you get the $10 in the card instantly. If it's $200, that'll be 202 BUSD converted. Daily funding limit is $5k Monthly spending limit is $100k Nothing like $20 limit here or Nigerian bank wahala or card declined. If it's too good to be true, go on Twitter and read reviews/tweets. Even the official Binance Africa page on Twitter advertised/endorsed it. |
okikigsm:It's crypto. If you have BUSD, USDC, BNB or BTC in your Binance account (spot or funding wallet) it'll be converted straight directly 1:1 |
