It's too late for any possibility of damage control now, and he's only sorry he got caught. His reputation is completely ruined and there's no coming back from this nor any of the other crimes he has committed.

Yes her intention was for people to insult the person that gave the 20k.

And someone followed me to the food thread too after that interaction on the 20k thread with this same account you mentioned and called me stingy broke person. (And other choice words as well).

I thought it might have been her because they both use the same exact phrases but I wasn’t sure so I ignored it.

Now she deleted those threads and then a few days later she’s posting her hospital experiences. Seems premeditated but I can’t be sure. So let me just observe
She's definitely the same person. Seeing the similar rude and unwarranted comments she made to you in the Food thread after that thread, she's definitely the same person. Also, see the correspondences between her and two people below.

Color me confused too

Because she severely insulted me on that thread as well because I said ppl should value whatever they are given

She even took it to another’s thread to continue insulting me there. Calling me stingy and broke. Asking why I’m not doing giveaway for nairalanders.

Now this? Okay maybe she’s reflected on it

I remember that thread. I believe her intention in creating it was for people to insult the guy who sent the money because to her, it was too little.

She has also called me a "stingy entity" in the Food thread using one of her alternate accounts (MrsAminaBello) saying I don't do giveaway on Nairaland. I had no idea who the person was because I had never seen the moniker before only for me to check the profile and see her photo on it but it has been removed since.

They love her and support her music. They probably make up a good percentage of people buying and streaming her music. There's nothing wrong with her embracing them and treating them with kindness, otherwise it would affect her image and success. Imagine an African artist whose music transcends nationalities and borders like this. Quite amazing.

Re. Her serving you food without cloth to wash your hands:

So... she serves you food, along with water to wash your hands, but no cloth [or towel] to dry your hands and it's the last part you're complaining about? Na wa oooooo. Why can't you get up to dry your hands yourself or is that too much for you to do? That will not reduce your being man; get up and go dry your hands. It's possible she forgets amidst trying to get everything done (going by your post, you probably don't help this woman at all with any chores in the home!!!), so you could get up to do that yourself. It's your type that will not want to lift a plate in the home to wash because your wife is a maid that will do everything. Na wa oooooo.

Another option is to be reminding her and doing it gently and respectfully: "Darling, can you please get me a cloth to dry my hands?" or "Darling, please get me a cloth to dry my hands". If you're doing that and speaking to her like sweetly, she will be remembering gradually.

Re. Her taking the baby out without informing you:

If you're not home and she needs to go somewhere important, is she supposed to call to ask for your permission before going, or leave her baby alone at home because you might not want her taking the child along? Oga, reason am na. This is a 1-year old, so it wouldn't even be a good idea to leave him/her with anyone else (other than you), hence it's best for the child to be with her mother when they need to go out and you're not around. I don't live in Nigeria and see a lot of new moms and their spouses here taking their babies (not even up to 1-year olds) out and about in strollers. They're usually in strollers that keep them protected away from the sun. I hope your wife has a good stroller like that, but if not, get her one! You obviously don't help this woman do anything at home and definitely not outside either, so I believe she's doing the best she can.

Re. the insufficient salt in food

Mr. Man, get a salt shaker (a little bottle/container where you put salt in and meant to be kept at the table where you eat in order to add it to food, if needed). A meal having little salt isn't a bad thing and is better than it being loaded with too much salt! It having little to no salt means you can always add salt when eating. Secondly, we all have different thresholds when it comes to tasting things like salt. It's possible she's one of those people who tastes food with little salt and can enjoy the meal like that. You've to inquire from her to determine if this is the case and if it is, stay with her in the kitchen (hopefully being in the kitchen would not induce any anger in you since you cannot get up to dry your own hands because you're too big of a man to do that) to show her how much salt you'll like her to be adding. That doesn't mean telling her to dump a gallon of salt in the pot and being inconsiderate of her own taste but coming to a compromise on how much salt would be cool for both of you. In the meantime, get a salt shaker like I suggested above and if you show her and you find the food is still lacking the amount of salt you like, then continuing using the salt shaker and add your own salt when eating.

As for your temperamental issue, get help. I don't know what she was thinking marrying someone "very temperamental" and seemingly sexist. You're close to turning her into a punching bag (I hope you're not already doing that) because of these small issues, therefore seek help before it gets to that stage.

Neither of you are saints, but you're the epitome of pot calling kettle black.

Romance / Re: ‘Real Man Doesn’t Allow His Partner To Have Male Bestie’ – Actor Nedu by TheWinterBird(f): 2:52pm On May 14
It's not even about allowing. Once you're getting married, you should do away with male besties and men should also do away with females besties. Anyone who respects the marriage they're walking into and the person they're marrying will do just that. It's totally nonsense to be keeping friends of the opposite sex, chatting them up or going out with them when married. Your husband, and wife, should be your new bestie. If you need other besties, then find besties of the same sex. Simple.

Did you read what YOU posted or you are so desperate to drag people into your feminist camp?

It is you feminists desperate to drag people into your camp that are living under a rock.

Beyonce's real life actions has constantly contradicted her songs.
I guess you believe Chris Brown is a lover boy or Davido would be faithful to Chioma because he sang 'Assurance' for her.

And feminists do not want equal opportunities; they want equal outcomes. And who has equal rights on this earth? Do I have the right to use my company's private jet? Does that mean I am discriminated against? If my CEO can't participate in a trivia to win N100k, does it mean she is 'inferior' to me? undecided

The place where girls really need equal opportunities (e.g. same common clearance cut off mark) like Northern Nigeria, you’ll are interestingly missing there.

No, I actually closed my eyes while writing all that, smdh. I guess I just developed a new skill, wow, wow, wow!!! I should be asking if YOU read what I wrote because you're all over the place without saying anything concrete.

Which real life actions of hers contradict her songs? She supports the FreedomForGirls campaign, donated $250,000 from her foundation last year, most of which went to women, as well as gave $10,000 grants to small businesses last year to businesses impacted by economic inequalities, most of which also went to women. I've given real-life examples in my previous post and and in this, but you're yet to give any as proof of what you're saying and just talking out of thin air.

I haven't been in the thread for some days now and you quoted me telling me I'm dragging people into my camp. Who quoted whom? And what has Chris Brown and Davido got to do with the discussion? Can Nigerians not argue without digressing unecessarily?

Idk why I'm even wasting my time replying someone in Nigeria living in one village with no light talking about what they've no idea about.

Beyonce is a feminist?

I am surprised cheesy

I guess President Tinubu is a Muslim.

Of course she is. Perhaps you've been living under a rock. She once performed in front of a screen with the word FEMINIST written in giant fonts. One of her singles, "Flawless” conveys a feminist message in its own right and samples the TED talk by Nigerian writer Chimamanda Ngozie Adichie that calls for gender equality. During an interview, this is also what she had to say about the concept:

"I’m not really sure people know or understand what a feminist is, but it’s very simple. It’s someone who believes in equal rights for men and women. If you are a man who believes your daughter should have the same opportunities and rights as your son, you’re a feminist. We need men and women to understand the double standards that still exist in the world, and we need to have a real conversation so we can begin to make changes. Ask anyone, man or woman, “Do you want your daughter to have 75 cents when she deserves $1?” What do you think the answer would be? When we talk about equal rights, there are issues that face women disproportionately…. Working to make those inequalities go away is being a feminist, but more importantly, it makes me a humanist. I don’t like or embrace any label. I don’t want calling myself a feminist to make it feel like that’s my one priority, over racism or sexism or anything else. I’m just exhausted by labels and tired of being boxed in. If you believe in equal rights, the same way society allows a man to express his darkness, to express his pain, to express his sexuality, to express his opinion—I feel that women have the same rights".

She also has two little girls now, so it makes sense that she would be an advocate for girls and women's rights.

Need any more proof that she's a feminist, or is it clear now?

Before feminism there was about 80% chance of black women getting married in America. Today only about 25% of black women will find husbands in America. Some of you use outliers as examples and don't know the consequences of what you're encouraging

Who is talking about finding husbands? We're talking about A, you're talking about Z. Stick to the topic of the discussion and don't digress to fit your own agenda. Secondly, since you made that statement ( "
25% of black women will find husbands in America" ), I need to see the research behind it. Some of you will just pull numbers out of thin air thinking you're corresponding with a mumu. Morever, black women get married every day. It may not be to black men. There're other nationalities in the U.S and world besides black men. I don't even know why you're talking about a girl of 16 finding a husband. Are you a pervert?
