prinzetobi:Thanks chief, he's been on vitamins and calcium supplements since I picked him up. Will try your suggestions too. Btw, That's Bauer... LOL |
Ẹ ṣir ó, No dog is born violent. Their temperament is moulded by daily interaction and/or non-interaction with human(s). The issues is that dogs have been mystified, misrepresented and stereotyped using unsubstantiated generalizations. There are indoor rottweilers and there are yard samoyeds. No one shade fits all. ..... My 2 cents |
It's your dog so you know better but..... That's a dobie (prolly with Rott genes) and it's way older than 4 months. Just look at the dentition. And the physique says it all... But it's your dog still... |
elkharpone:Thanks for taking it. |
Wow, eye-opening. Thanks. Thank you for your time, I do not take it for granted. #Bless |
For those who asked to see the picture... Here goes
|
theyongest:Sir, please be kind to share. Thanks in anticipation |
Okay so tomorrow is Sunday. Who is picking this up?. I will be free tomorrow, call 07039362448 so we can make arrangements. I don't think one person should take both sha, the dogmor for Mr A and binggo for Mr B, well, unless there is no Mr B. |
Immorttal:I'm all ears sir. Please be kind enough to share. Thanks for your kind words too, got him here in Lagos. |
Immorttal:LOL. My boy too. I had to get a big bowl o! so now he dips his legs in it and allows the water drip to the floor, repeats the process till he has enough to lie in. And the irony is that he hates to bathe. He can amuse you for Africa. Your boy is a true specimen, the snout says it all. Kudos |
Guess it's going to be first COME, first served. 07039362448 |
This your boerboel is shacking you bá. Nice one, very nice. Our regards to him. |
uchpanila:Sangotedo, ajah. I'm free every Sunday |
My boys rejected them since November and I can't bear to see them go to waste. Need someone whose dog likes either or both to come pick it up. Binggo adult 7kg and Dogmor puppy...like 5kgor or so left For free. Location is Ajah, Lagos. |
Lol. No error in the first place. People can shorten breed names as they so please; that's why you hear names like Rott, dobie, Aussy, CO, PB, etc. So, By "Caucasian" , we know what you meant. The only thing is GSD = ALSATIAN. But it doesn't matter, we get you. Cheers |
Zdoh:Thanks. Just wanted to be sure. |
Please, is this down pastern or an effect of the body weight (he's 5 and half months old) on the forelimbs. I ask because sometimes you see it, sometimes you don't depending on how he stands. Attached below are pictures of him without his weight on each of the limbs (forelimbs) Pls, CO owners, does this happen (maybe because of the growth rate) or this guy needs therapy?
|
He's big, I'll put him at 31 - 33 inches. That's definitely about average height, so he's not too big for females. Maybe it's the female's that are too small... Look for a matured female and let's see how they do. Cheers, good luck with your boy. |
He's only asking to be engaged, by you. All he does is only to get your attention. |
oyeyipow:Don't ask for waste, ask for pet mince, beef (or pork or lamb) bones for dogs, chicken bones and/or chicken backs. |
Let's see their current pictures. |
megamank:A rather balanced world we live in. People like us take care of the animals so people like you can focus on humans. What a beautiful balanced world. |
Drajah:Ooh.. You eventually bought him. Nice. |
Chai, when will I find a stray dog too? I swear, if your dog strays and I find him, just know I've automatically taken possession. Op, I'm sure you're a keeper this one is a beauty. |
08098017863 His name is Michael. VGC shopping complex. Great dog lovers, awesome vet care. |
Hw do we know when we have no idea how big he looks? |
tblackE61:Check here sir. He's the dobie photomixed with CO https://www.nairaland.com/1794725/snap-upload-pets-picture-here/32#1794725.1047 |
priestcharm:Abi ó, Lol. All he should be worried about now is teaching good behaviour and good feeding. Socialize and train him in obedience. I know because I do have a Doberman-Rott (although the Rott gene is from two generations up) and even though he's well behaved, his tendencies scare me. He's cool but can be feisty. Very territorial, protective, aggressive, stable today unstable tomorrow, and all that. But you need patience as he didn't become all that by 7 months. At that age, he was still destructively playful, shy and jovial. Just give him time. |
Can somebody borrow me 250k that they're not using? |
I think you've been well advised, I don't have the discipline it take to be an authority when it comes to feeding my dogs, I give them what they like because it's the only thing that goes their way. I still have 2 bags of dry food opened and untouched. So I'm not sure I'm the right person to advice when it comes to feeding. |
First things first, is that dog healthy? Call your vet if you're not sure. The obedience can come later. If you're sure she's healthy, then, that one may require some quick thinking and creativity from you. Cheers |
Please, keep feeding him and let's see how big he gets. Got so much potential. Although some dogs are fast growers while others take longer, most dogs don't grow after reaching maximum growth capacity. Some however break boundaries. Please let's know how he does with time. Cheers. |
