Not buying but would love to see current pic of the boy. He's more dobbie than rotty. Merry Xmas |
He's 4month, 1 week today. |
Lol, thanks for the kind words but he's not looking cute at the moment. He's losing his puppy hair but still doing really fine. I have one from after we returned from walking this morning and another from a few days Pls don't laugh
|
Sir, seems you tried contacting me, yes? |
Called Bobby one Sunday morning when I wanted to get my CO. We related fine but his price was just a little above my budget. We ended the conversation. I got my CO same day from another person for same price Bobby asked for and the quality is... Well, some have seen my boy. So what made the difference? Marketing. While Bobby was only able to give me "quality and the best around", the other person interviewed me to know what I really wanted and realizing his pup is in good hands, he proceeded to lecture me about his dog and bloodline, introduced me to each of the 6 pups and even recommended a pick for me..even without agreeing on a price yet. I was so at ease doing business with him because of the EXTRA he gave, it wasn't about selling alone, it was about ensuring the best for the client and the dog. It was easy to break my budget, it was even easier to pay after interacting with the pups. Mr Bobby, I love your dogs and I've learnt a lot from you since I joined your whatsapp fan group, your products are great and I know how much you invest on your dogs, plus no time to have time for time wasters but... but if it would mean anything, (without wasting many words) kindly work on marketing. Op has shown you where to start. God bless you sir. And keep up it the great work. |
Wow!! This is the koko. I'm gingered! |
Where's Largas? |
uboma:Yes sir, I got one, outside NL though. I picked the last one, breeder wanted to retain but he fortunately changed his mind. The pressure on studs, the demands we place on them, the high expectations and the drama involved... No, I don't think I want this for any of my boys. Well, I don't know about the others yet but I won't be crossing the Dobie. |
BomboyOnline:Cool. Thanks |
I am blessed with 3 companions, a 17month doberman, a 4month CO, and a 3month GSD all male. The Doberman is a mix and this has never bothered me because I have no intentions of mating him,. Recently, I caught him humping the GSD and it occurred to me he may never have the opportunity of siring pups unless it has an adverse effect on his health. I know females are prone to cancer when they are not crossed but I have no idea if the Male has any health issues if they are not mated. Checked Google but it kept throwing me in circles. So I'm throwing it open to the vets and gurus here; is there any known health concern associated with not mating a male dog? I'm also not sure if I'ld be mating the others when they are matured enough.

Well, I've never cared about pedigree so that doesn't count to me. This is good stuff, top quality just (obviously) not well cared for. Hopefully she finds a better home |
brojoshua:I'm not understanding sir. Just how is this related? |
sportin:to Please, put up more pictures of the pup and the parents' pic. It tells us about the pup's potential. |
olisafincy:Thanks, kind sir, but just a week old they are. I just hope I can wait. The thing is hungrying me, doing me giz giz. Kindly help with their contact. Thanks. |
Izz nor gud lai dis ó. People don't have good GSDs again? |
Orobo puppy...nice |
I like, but want male |
gadafi101:Budget is open. I'm guided though. |
57 views and no one is talking... Okay o |
I've decided that the best Christmas gift I can give myself is A minimum of 2 month old (can be older) male top quality WORKING LINE GSD. (NO SLANTS BIKO!!!) I want a dog like Robby or Shadow (just for emphasis) and likes. So if anyone has or knows anyone who has, kindly put up their pictures and contact and I'll reach you so we can discuss. Locally bred but pure blood line (I don't really care about pedigree) desired. Preferred location is Lagos; I'd love to interact with him in his original home first. P. S. I'm not planning to break a bank so "rippers" beware. Kindly be prepared to answer tons of questions too. Thanks |
ambient:Is it a Doberman? So clingy thugs |
Vessi:ME? Enlighten us? Me I dunno anything o. There are several threads on here that teaches or advertises cheaper feeding alternatives and all I know is courtesy NL. |
It's your dog, so it's what you say it is. But from the picture (with all due respect) your vet is either a liar or a fraud. It's a good pup, maybe worth the price, but PEDIGREE is... well, *zips mouth *. It's not my dog. |
Vessi:Thanks. Oh, that's actually a Doberman (though with about 30% Rott in him, both parents are Dobies though, but I really didn't care about how pure or not they were, not planning to mate him - except.... ) |
Vessi:LOL. I have no idea how much o, I just know they get me broke. Lol. Attached is his picture as of this evening. Hard to get him to stay at a spot
|
Vessi:Thanks for your kind thoughts, he's even bigger now that he's fully recovered, he's 14wks now. LOL about the feeding. There are cheaper alternatives sir. |
Largas:My bad! Believe me, no intentions to be rude. And I didn't find it ignorant, I just thought it was easier to Google and check old post on here to have a balance of all info. It only sounded funny to me cos it felt like going to the house of death and asking "if there was bones" when you could just ask for head or femur. Again, I'm sorry, no rudeness intended. |
Bros, na wah o, it's Christmas, the season of giving without expecting to receive. So give me one, God bless you as you give. LOL *finds a hiding* |
EmmanuelLee:NOW LEMME COME AND BRAG LIKE I KNOW SOMETHING ABOUT DOGS. *FORMING DOG WHISPERER* So you've had a dog and you understand somethings already, nice. They say the first thing is asking why you need a dog. So, WHY DO YOU NEED A DOG? Nothing really can state how ready or prepared you are or can be when it comes to owning dog(s). You're either ready or not and when you are, you'd definitely know. But before you take on this commitment, (oh yea, it's a big one for that matter - I guess you plan to own the foreign breeds), ask yourself if you're ready to give the dog what she needs. Taking care of a dog goes beyond feeding or sheltering, it in simple English requires DEEP LOVING and I'm darn sure you know love is equal to or greater than MAKING SACRIFICES of your time, money, convenience, sleep, party, travelling, space. Once that is answered, then research the breed that suits you, your lifestyle, your temperament and your pocket. Then love and cherish him. Then find a good vet and make him your second best friend. The last thing is to keep up with the research. Read and ask questions to know. I wish you the best. LOL, this is what I read somewhere like that. |
My 2 cents, start with the local dog, it prepares you 50% for the foreign breed. You can then get any of the small breeds after a while, say 4-5months. But,hey, it's completely your choice |
Wow, lot of questions.... Do you know enough about the dam, if yes, how is her temperament, how is her health (I mean, how resistant or susceptible is she) Yeah, how is the aggression level? (A crautweiler - àbí what's the mix called? Should be hyper aggressive How protective is she, and finally, how old is she in this pic? How demanding is her grooming, and how much of a ram (stubborn goats that Caucasians are) is she? The sire too nko, what breed is he? I may be very very interested, I may be picking a male. It all depends on your answers sir. Also which part of Lagos... Hopefully pick up will be convenient. |
