NSE, the more you look, the less you see. What is happening in Diamond? Is it another pumping and dumping, or some people have sighted the result? |

Why is everyone advising Loco? Abeg make una free Oga Loco. He is not the only person on NSEMPA who misjudged the market in recent weeks. The only difference is that he was open about his trade decisions, and he should not be crucified for that. In fact, following from the title of this thread, we should even encourage people like Loco, who have the courage to disclose their stock picks. After all, we're all here to share information and learn from one another and our past mistakes |

9free: If it has reached your BEP(Break Even Price), you may want to reduce your holdings by 50%. As it continue to be on Bid, sell the remaining in tranches Thanks. Please what about livestock feeds, is it still a good buy at the moment? |

Investnow2017: From my respected broking firm:
The current low valuations of stocks still provide good buying opportunities in the market. Some of our recommended stocks are mentioned below; NASCON - Nascon maintained its strong performance as the company’s 9M’17 results showed a robust revenue growth of 62% y/y to N20 bn from N12 bn in 9M’16. Gross profit also grew significantly by 79% y/y, and led to the strong bottom line. The strong sales growth more than offset a 53% y/y increase cost of sales and led to a 4% expansion in gross margin to 37% (9M’16-33%). EBIT also grew remarkably by 114% y/y to N5.89 bn from N2.75 bn while Profit before tax spiked by 130% y/y as it stood at N5.96 billion compared to N2.59 billion in 9M’16. EPS also grew to N2.04 in 9M’17 from N0.89 in 9M’16. Going forward, we expect the company to leverage on its strong balance sheet while the improvement in consumer spending supported by easing inflatinary pressures is expected to support topline growth. With a fair Value of N26.79, we recommend a “BUY”. FIDELITY - Fidelity 9M-2017 result showed that gross earnings improved by 18% y/y to N130 billion primarily driven by an increase of 21% in interest income and a strong growth of 99% in non-interest income to N5.9 billion from N2.9 billion in 9M’2016. PBT also improved significantly by 65% y/y from N9 billion in 9M’16 to N16 billion. EPS also grew to N0.67 from N0.40 in 9M’16. We forecast FY’2017 DPS of N0.25 and EPS of N0.60 which translates to a dividend yield of 7% (far ahead of the average dividend yield of 4.4% for banking stocks) based on its current price of N3.54 (26/01/2018). It has a P/BV multiple of 0.62x compared to 1.31x for banking stocks. With a target price of N4.87, we place a “BUY” recommendation. Please find attached our Stock Recommendation for this week, ending 2nd February, 2018.

onegentleguy: ...I don't hype my dear. ...Never had, and never will !! ...It's never in my personality. ...I only try to state facts. ...but I do not need to convince u for I am quite ok with the over 28 persons who have so far reached me to say a big thank u for my tip on SKYE and CAVERTON. ...Their joy gave me fulfilment !! However if u've been following my post, then u would've recalled that I predicted the SKYE to hit N1.5 from 0.50k than take a quick break before a slow rise to near N2, depending on market dynamics. ...and so it naturally makes so much sense for me to reduce my holding given that a target has been met. ...I just had to inform the house because of the homidge I have for it, and also because I am aware that a good no of persons here may have bought from my tip off. ...even though I am under no obligation to do so.
On CAVERTON, my prediction is still very much on course. ...For Mr TIME will soon add proof to that.
DD always advised pls. How about your predictions for FCMB, Diamond and Fidelity? It seems you're no longer so confident about those 3 |

currentprice: the stock has liquidity issues as discuss here in the past. the numbers good as at Q3 and this guy may likely give dividend at year end out of the 18k free cash they have as at q3 if not disappear by Q4. it depend on the unit in your portfolio and the period you intend to hold it. but if you see price move to like 1.75 -1.85 just let it go to free your capital for more good stock. those major shareholder PFA, CORPORATE HOLDING & co of this stock are not ready to sell Thanks |
