Cristiano Ronaldo has become the world record holder for most goals scored in internationals after his header against the Republic of Ireland. Ronaldo’s 89-minute strike in Portugal’s World Cup qualifying match on Wednesday night means he now has 110 goals in 180 appearances for his country, breaking Ali Daei’s record of 109 goals for Iran. Ronaldo had the chance to break the record earlier in the game after Portugal were awarded a penalty but Ireland's 19-year-old goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu, who is on loan at League One Portsmouth from Manchester City, saved Ronaldo's spot kick. Bazunu denied Ronaldo a second time late into the second half after Ronaldo's free kick made it past the wall but Bazunu palmed it wide convincingly. The 36-year-old equalled Daei’s record with two converted penalties in Portugal’s final Euro 2020 group match against France. On Tuesday, Manchester United confirmed the return of the forward after 12 years away. He will make his debut under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on his return from international duty. https://c.newsnow.co.uk/A/1094061352?-19390:5491 |

Yes, my ex spent two nights with me in a hotel. She and her present husband came to were i was for their pre wedding pictures and when they were done she had to lie that she would be staying with her uncle for 3 days. Guess what happened? She went to uncle's house and lied again that she will be staying with her female friend, but she ended up in hotel where she invited me over where we spent two nights out of the 21 days count down to their wedding. May God forgive me I want to meet the guy and apologise. |

Former Manchester United centre-back Rio Ferdinand has dropped a possible hint that Cristiano Ronaldo could secure his iconic No.7 shirt once he formally completes his move to Old Trafford. United have confirmed that they have reached an agreement with Juventus to re-sign the Portugal international, subject to him passing his medical and agreeing personal terms. Although the deal is not 100 per cent complete, speculation has already been mounting about what shirt number the 36-year-old will acquire at Old Trafford, with Uruguay international Edinson Cavani currently donning his preferred No.7 shirt. However, Ferdinand has hinted that the striker has given the number to Ronaldo — although Premier League rules state a player is not allowed to switch shirt numbers once a season is in progress. "Just to think Cavani could be the back-up for Ronaldo, it’s unbelievable," said Ferdinand, speaking on on his YouTube channel, FIVE. "Cavani, I have to say, what a man. He saw who was coming to town and gave up the No.7 shirt." https://c.newsnow.co.uk/A/1093489203?-19390:5491 |

Sir Alex Ferguson left Manchester United eight years ago, but evidently he still has a strong influence on the club from afar, as he has seemingly crafted an almighty U-turn in the Cristiano Ronaldo transfer saga. Reports suggest United are now officially in negotiations to bring Ronaldo back to Old Trafford after the forward engaged in convincing talks with his former boss Ferguson this morning. The Manchester Evening News reports: "Ferguson is understood to have reached out to Ronaldo on Friday morning after he seemed certain to join City. As of this morning, City were the only club interested in signing Ronaldo." The 36-year-old, currently at Juventus, looked as though he was on his way to United’s bitter rivals Manchester City, after an attempt to lure the Portuguese to the Etihad Stadium following the news of Ronaldo’s desire to leave Turin. Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola was inevitably asked about the player in his press conference on Friday, and said: "I cannot say much, Cristiano was at Juventus, I think a Juventus player. Only I can say that in the three or four days left in the transfer window everything can happen. https://c.newsnow.co.uk/A/1093411149?-19390:5491 |

Femi8586:ogah i mentioned "white race" in the light of being better than other race in aspects of humanitarian support. Even the black Muslim could not assist because they also need assistance. The witch craft and envy in your DNA as a black man is responsible for all you've writen and not the teaching of Christ son of Mary. Why not focus on the true teaching of your lord and saviour instead of wasting your time on people you believe we never make your father's heaven. |
AsampeteNwaanyi:you are viewing this particular situation from religious angle without putting the most important factor into consideration which is "race". If it all about Christians helping their enemies as you claimed, what have the black Christians all over Africa done to help the so called enemies? Your reason for typing all that is because first you are a poor black Christian. Secondly, it's because you are envious of the Afghans. Thirdly, because you are from one of those backwards country that believe that religious affinity is better than doing good. If you are Christian then you have to be like Christ. With the above show of hatred it means you are not better than those you see as enemies of Christ. |
