Business / Inventory And Expenses by thisme(m): 8:20am On Feb 02, 2010
Inventory is usually the largest current asset of a business that sells products. If the inventory account is greater at the end of the period than at the start of the reporting period, the amount the business actually paid in cash for that inventory is more than what the business recorded as its cost of good sold expense. When that occurs, the accountant deducts the inventory increase from net income for determining cash flow from profit.

the prepaid expenses asset account works in much the same way as the change in inventory and accounts receivable accounts. However, changes in prepaid expenses are usually much smaller than changes in those other two asset accounts.

The beginning balance of prepaid expenses is charged to expense in the current year, but the cash was actually paid out last year. this period, the business pays cash for next period's prepaid expenses, which affects this period's cash flow, but doesn't affect net income until the next period. Simple, right?

As a business grows, it needs to increase its prepaid expenses for such things as fire insurance premiums, which have to be paid in advance of the insurance coverage, and its stocks of office supplies. Increases in accounts receivable, inventory and prepaid expenses are the cash flow price a business has to pay for growth. Rarely do you find a business that can increase its sales revenue without increasing these assets.

The lagging behind effect of cash flow is the price of business growth. Managers and investors need to understand that increasing sales without increasing accounts receivable isn't a realistic scenario for growth. In the real business world, you generally can't enjoy growth in revenue without incurring additional expenses. Read More here http://www.nichesinfo.com

Religion / Re: Church Worker Rapes 11-yr Old Girl At Vigil by thisme(m): 2:06am On Dec 04, 2009
anguskelly:

A church worker who allegedly raped an 11-year old girl inside the church during a night vigil has been arrested by the police and charged before the Ejigbo Magistrates’ Court for rape.

The accused, Ameh Joseph, a worker at the Watchman Charismatic Renewal Movement, Igando district, Lagos State, was said to have not only raped the victim at the church premises but also pursued the little girl to her parents’ residence at 8, Sanctuary Street, Akesan and raped her again.

Luck, however, ran out on him at the residence as he was caught and handed over to the policemen at the Igando police station.

Narrating her ordeal to P.M.NEWS, the victim said she was four times, two at the church premises during the night vigil and the others at her parents’ residence.

The sordid act was revealed when the girl started crying because of the pains she suffered during the act. This attracted the attention of a neighbor who went to the apartment to know what was happening. The neighbour discovered that the victim had been raped and reported the incident to her mother when she returned from the church. The mother reported the matter at the police station and the accused was arrested. He reportedly confessed raping the girl four times.

He was charged before the Ejigbo Magistrates’ Court for rape, an offence punishable under Section 218 of the Criminal Code, Cap.17, Vol. 2, Laws of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2003.

He pleaded not guilty to the charge and was granted bail in the sum of N100,000 and two responsible sureties.

The magistrate, Mrs. Maimunat Folami ordered that one of the sureties must be a blood brother and must show evidence of means of livelihood, including payment of tax.

The matter has been adjourned till 14 December, 2009 for definite trial while the defendant was ordered to be remanded in prison custody because he could not meet the bail conditions.

Is that the only news you read or heard about the church?
Please be careful!

Abuzola 1:

i pity you, read this

2:113

: The Jews said that the Christians follow nothing (i.e. are not on the right religion); and the Christians said that the Jews follow nothing (i.e. are not on the right religion); though they both recite the Scripture. Like unto their word, said (the pagans) who know not. Allah will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection about that wherein they have been differing.

You better pity yourself because you are reading the Bible with a bias mind!
So what do you expect to get?
Religion / Faith And Freedom by thisme(m): 4:31pm On Dec 01, 2009
Christian Freedom is the least understood concept today, because you have probably never met anyone who is “free." Jesus said, "Know the truth, and the truth will set you free." Of course, he is the truth. But what is free? It is certainly not free from guilt, free to sin; as Paul says, shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid! Rom 6:15. So, is it just freedom from sin, or is it more?
First, when we begin our walk, we are under the Law. And, because we are under the Law, we are cursed; for no mere man can fulfill the law. Christ fulfilled the Law, but he was no mere man. While we are under the law, all we can do is try to avoid breaking it. Of course we continually fail. As Paul said, ‘Oh wretch that I am. For what I would [do] I do not. But what I hate, that I do. Our humanity prevents us from being successful. Until we are led by the Spirit of God, the law is our schoolmaster. It reminds of us our failings. Our failings are supposed to motivate us to seek the changing grace of God, available to us through our faith in the name of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. How to access that changing grace of God is explained below.

Faith
But the Law did not always exist. Before the Law, Abraham was blessed by God because of his faith — he obeyed the Voice of the Lord. Now we have the opportunity to be blessed by God because of our belief in the name of Christ; to be blessed far beyond our fondest expectations, even while living on the earth and then forever.

Your hope must be in a Christ that not only forgives, but is able and eager to purify you through repentance to Truth. The concept ofrepentance has been forgotten. Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. Luke 13:5
Jesus told the adulteress: I do not condemn you either.
Go on your way and sin no more, least a worse thing come upon you. John 8:11.
The worse thing is to be banned from heaven for still sinning, and sent to Hell, until you have paid the last penny .
He would not have commanded her to sin no more, unless it were possible. Repentance is the way.
Jesus warned us several times: Unless you repent you will all likewise perish. Luke 13:3,5
Repentance results in Him changing us by the power of his grace to become - holy, pure, and perfect.

Luke 24:47
And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
In the original Greek, the word for remission meant both forgiveness and remission. That is why many New Testament translations (NIV, and AMP) use the word forgiveness instead of remission. Remission, (as in, the cancer is in remission - a shrinking, a dying), is far more accurate, and perfectly describes the purification necessary to avoid being banned from heaven. The cleansing of the Word, the cleansing in the Light, both attained by waiting on the Lord, listening, hearing, watching, and obeying - such cleansing is a remission of sin. But the poor souls, who were trying to translate the Bible, had not experienced remission of sin within themselves, and so obviously chose to emphasizeforgiveness instead.

Look at how Jesus' ministry is described by the Amplified's translation of Luke 1:77: To bring and give the knowledge of salvation to His people in the forgiveness and remission of their sins.

If you believe you don't need to do anything while on earth to get rid of your flesh, you won't get rid of it. You will try to please God in your flesh. They that are in the flesh cannot please God. For if you live according to the flesh (the sinful nature), you will surely die. But if through the power of the Spirit you are putting to death (making extinct, deadening) the deeds prompted by the body, you shall live forever.Rom 8:13. As long as we live in our selfish, sinful nature, we are unruly and incapable of being ruled, governed, or led by a Lord or King. So, if you want Jesus to be your Lord and King, through the power of the Spirit, you must put to death the sinful nature by repentance to purity - becoming able to be led. Those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. Rom 8:14. Those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires [lusts and affections]. Gal 5:24. , To be continued http://www.bibleinfotips.com

As for me my little advice is that you look for a problem
around your environment in Ife, I mean problem people are
passing through.

You can provide solution to the problem and charge affordable
but profitable price. However, if the problem is not area you can
personally solve, then interview expert or make research on the
internet for it.

In another development you can easily join this online
forum and lean more about being an entrepreneur, people
are there to help without charging you a dime. The forum is
