Preparation of printing packages (all layout and design files) for printing of publications and other communication products (banners, posters, booklets, leaflets, books, calendars, bulletins, flyers, cards) Design templates for new publications and products in line with graphic guidelines and in close cooperation with responsible officers. Deliver creative and innovative ideas for print, web and interactive presentations. This will require the graphic designer to provide technical solutions for use of new media (virtual 3D words/boxes, postcards). Maintain templates (In-design, CorelDraw, Canva, Publisher Word, PowerPoint etc) and give technical support. Key skills for graphic designers Dexterity with various creative suites to get the job done e.g Adobe, Canva, Corel, Maya and so on Computer skills: Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator and knowledge of graphic design fundamentals; Acrobat, and Microsoft Office Suite Exceptional creativity and innovation Accuracy and attention to detail Ability to design for print and digital media is required. You must have a strong design software skills (Adobe Creative Suite) and mastery of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects and Photoshop You must be able to create animations and other motion graphics. A portfolio with a breadth of work exhibiting strong aesthetic and design skills Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of brand and visual design Strong layout and typographic skills Great communication skills, good hand skills Work on multiple projects with varying deadlines Ability to think spatially, understanding how a brand is consistently expressed and maintained in a physical environment, over time. Highly collaborative, and thrives in a fast-paced environment Experience and Educational Requirement: Proven graphic designing experience as a graphic designer B.Sc/HND in an IT related field preferred.
