Chatunga Bellarmine Mugabe has been arrested at his Johannesburg home.

The son of the late former Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe is reportedly one of two suspects who had been arrested on Thursday at the Mugabe residence in Hyde Park, Johannesburg.

Speaking to the media outside the premises, Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi confirmed that the two suspects would be taken into custody and questioned as part of an attempted murder investigation.

Police were flagged down on Thursday morning by private security who relayed that a shooting had taken place on the Mugabe property.

The victim was initially believed to be a security guard, but Nevhuhulwi confirmed that preliminary investigations state he was a 23-year-old gardener.

Confirmation that the men had been formally charged with attempted murder was released on Thursday evening, with the men set for a court appearance at the Alexandra Magistrate’s Court on Monday.

I agree with some of your point. I’m a fan of him. I truly love his movie because I’ve been following him since the time of Ṣawaro Idẹ but ẹgbọn fvck up big time. He said the sky is big for birds to fly. But why is he bittered that people promote their movies in ways they like? WHY? This thing of “class” is a serious problem in our country. I’m a movie critics. I virtually all kind of movies in Nigeria from different genres, from Kannywood to Hollywood till the least grade of movie. I know quality works and mere works but your people (fans) who love quality will be for you when they see that you produce quality movie. You don’t need to even advertise. It’s just like saying I dey sell okrika for market, because you dey for boutique with AC selling quality clothes, you come dey vex for me because I dey use bell and dancing to advertise my goods. Ó wrong now. I may love Afolayan but that doesn’t mean I shouldn’t call him out. Shey aunty Funke small ni? Aunty Funke thay has been acting since 90s, someone who featured in “I Need To Know”. By the way, I never see aunty Kemi Adetiba, mama mi Mo Abudu or aunty Jadesola Osiberu or even Mr Kayode Kasum, Femi Adebayo with Niyi Akinmolayan to come out and be talking in the format Kunle Afolayan talks. It really paint a character flaw in him. As a filmmaker that he is, but his first series of Anikulapo flop now? I only see ẹgbọn Kunle as the bitter person here who want us to regard him when it comes to Nigeria movie but I can tell you that he no longer produce meaningful movie anymore.
