Watching King of Boys by Kemi Adetiba back then left me deeply unsettled especially the way she used the film to satirize the decayed institutions in our country. As I watched, my mind kept racing to real people, patterns in our society.

I still remember how Laburu was helped by that inspector who was investigating her, a character clearly meant to satirize someone in real life too. The wild part is that Kemi Adetiba’s movie continues to mirror the state of our decaying institutions in Nigeria even now. And if you remember, that inspector is no longer an inspector in “King of Boys: The Return of the King”.

Fast-forward to today, two public figures in Nigeria are currently trending and their stories sound familiar. If you’ve been paying attention, you’ll connect the dots yourself.

Let me give you a clue: Thallium.

Permit me to pen down my deepest gut feeling about the purpoted procurement of the highly lethal banned substance called thallium by the ONSA.

This dangerous substance is not a tool for fighting the terrorists ravaging the country with terror, this is true because it's administration on an intended target can only be when in close proximity to the target.

Then, you could administer it to them by poisoning their food or drink or body cream or in conjunction with gaseous emissions.

Now, this substance also have other uses aside being a chemical weapon of sort, but it was still banned by many countries despite it other uses which includ but not limited to rodenticidinals and certain other manufacturing uses.

None of the other uses of this banned lethal substance falls within the purview or portfolio of the ONSA's office.

The question on every lips therefore is, why did the ONSA procure or plan to procure this very dangerous substance into our country?

Let's us note that El Rufai (warts and all), as a bonafide citizen of the federal republic of Nigeria, under the FOI bill, has every right, infact, his rights here are inalienable, to ask questions from relevant authorities, about the movement of such a dangerous substance into the country, and about the motive behind it if he has information on such activity.

The substance is a banned substance, the substance is on record to have been notoriously deployed by some countries in the past as a chemical weapon against political opposition elements, El Rufai is a notable opposition element.

This notorious poison is said not to result in instant death but gradually tears it's victim down, thereby having the tendency obliterate the trail of the administrator or it's timeline.

This substance, is also reputed to be difficult to trace in an autopsy (?).

So what does the government of the day want with this odourless, tasteless poisonous crystal ?

There's no smoke without fire, why should such an accusation, suspicions or request be even made by a citizen from the ONSA?

We demand an explanation from the office of the ONSA.

We demand from El Rufai to shed more light about the veracity of his claim.

This matter calls for serious concern from every sane Nigerian no matter their political or religious divide!

I, as an opposition element is particularly worried that the government of the day has planted moles everywhere in the opposition camp and the second phase of their plans could be to begin to take out key opposition figures in the most subtle way possible, quietly and without trace.

It's public knowledge that king bulaba is affiliated to the Mafia, the Mafia is a ruthless entity!

I am also concerned that a prisoner of conscience in person of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu could be on the list. The enemies of Ndigbo..the known enemies, the haters for no just cause other than a superiority or inferiority complex or both, may target Mazi Nnamdi Kanu for elimation in order to incite and elicit a ferocious response from his already angry die hard supporters, whose actions government of the day will now rely on to move in to completely destroy Igboland. The north is already on its knees brought down by islamists, if the South East is also destroyed, the SW will demand for independence from the torn entity in order to quickly consolidate their gains arising from the desecration of the other regions. THIS IS ONE OF THE WAYS SUPER POWERS ARE BORN.

However, all what I wrote above could just be me thinking ahead of my time or even above my pay grade, or just overthinking things, we live in very dangerous times in this country and nobody can be too sure.

Okay, suppose, this dangerous substance is meant to target people in government?

We recall that the failed coup plotters allegedly started plotting from the office of the ONSA. And one of their key objectives as we read was to eliminate king bulaba and his princes.

Now, this so called coup plot didn't achieve desired results, foiled and perpetrators are still under detention.

Suppose someone in the office of the ONSA (once again) is bringing in this banned lethal substance to finish what the coup plotters couldn't achieve?

If the FBI or CIA is exposed as procuring or have procured this thallium into America without the exclusive knowledge of POTUS, there's no doubt POTUS should be sufficiently disturbed.

This is what I know:

1: I wasn’t aware UI had offered law as a subject. In those days if you wanted to study law in the SW you went to Ife or Unilag. Unilag only offering law at the time as a second degree. I don’t know anyone who studied law in UI.
2: The top tier universities with the best law programs then were Ife, Unilag etc and I don’t know of anyone who graduated with a first class in law. It is such a notoriously tough subject to get a 1st class. Maybe you will see 3 in 10yrs talk less graduating that many in one set.
3: even Cambridge university in the Uk statistically o KT produces an average of 17% 1st class graduates in a class. So a law school graduating 40% of the class as 1st class is highly suspicious.
4: the argument that they had a high cut off mark for admission is invalid. The cut off mark for law in the best universities has always very high. They still don’t graduate with 40% 1st class.
5: that it is making the news shows it is an abnormally.

If this is how they dish out 1st class then I am suspicious of a law degree from UI.

That was then. Things have changed. I had a cousin who finished from OAU faculty of Law with a first class. During his set, he was among the three best graduating Law students at that time in OAU. He had 280+ in his UTME and one of the highest marks in Post-UTME with lot of distinctions and few Bs in his O’level.
