Manchester United cleared Jose Mourinho's office out in just five minutes after he was axed, it has been claimed.

With United 19 points off the Premier League and rivals, Ed Woodward was forced to take action.

United's executive vice-chairman hauled Mourinho in for a 44-minute chat and sacked him on the spot.

Mourinho's pictures and trophies were among the items to have been boxed up.

It is understood Mourinho's personal belongings were then transported away.

Despite the brutal nature of Mourinho's sacking, the 55-year-old released a statement revealing he was proud to have managed Manchester United.

"I have been immensely proud to wear the badge of Manchester United since the first day I arrived, and I believe all United supporters recognise this," Mourinho penned.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been celebrating Christmas in style with his £270,000 gold Lamborghini.

The Premier League top scorer posted a video on Instagram picking out Gucci clothes with Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele.

Aubameyang wrapped his supercar in a gold coating last month and showed it off around Regent Street.

Aubameyang could be the key to convincing his former Borussia Dortmund teammate Dembele to join.

Arsenal didn't look like they needed Dembele against Burnley as Aubameyang scored twice against Sean Dyche's side on Saturday.

Aubameyang's team-mate Sokratis Papastathopoulos believes the forward can win the golden boot.

Aubameyang has scored 12 league goals this campaign and is currently one ahead of Liverpool's Mohamed Salah and Harry Kane. The Arsenal striker will be hoping to add to his tally at the Amex against Brighton on Boxing day where he scored last season in a 2-1 defeat.

Patrick Kluivert And Clarence Seedorf Pose With Cameroon Shirts After Taking Charge Of National Side
Former Holland international Clarence Seedorf was unveiled on Friday as the new boss of Cameroon, with Patrick Kluivert joining as his assistant.

Seedorf, 42, has previously coached AC Milan, Chinese side Shenzhen and Deportivo La Coruna but lasted less than six months in each role.

The pair replace Belgian Hugo Broos, who won the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations but then failed to qualify for the 2018 World Cup.Kluivert revealed his delight at taking the job, declaring on Instagram: 'Let's do this brother, new challenge.

On signing his contract, Seedorf said: 'I feel honoured to be given the opportunity to manage this great country.

Cameroon will defend their Nations Cup title on home soil in June next year, a first major finals test for the new management team, who will then target qualification for the 2022 World Cup.Seedorf, an 87-cap Holland international, enjoyed an illustrious playing career, winning the Champions League with Ajax, Real Madrid and AC Milan, sharing the Ajax triumph with his new assistant.

While Seedorf has no previous international management experience, Kluivert was assistant coach of Holland between 2012 and 2014 and helped his nation to a third-placed finish at the 2014 World Cup under Louis van Gaal. The striker, Holland's third-highest scorer, has extensive coaching experience, having been assistant at AZ Alkmaar between 2008 and 2010, before also fulfilling that role at Brisbane Roar and NEC.After leaving Holland, he managed Cuaraco, his mother's homeland, but was unable to help them qualify for the 2018 World Cup before coaching in Ajax's youth set-up and spending one season as PSG's sporting director.

Seedorf follows the path of fellow Dutchman Arie Haan, who was Cameroon boss for six months between 2006 and 2007.

Paul Pogba is set to kick off the new domestic season with a brand new haircut that reflects his truly momentous summer of international football.

After helping propel France to a second World Cup triumph out in Russia, Pogba has gone and had Les Bleus' two stars daubed onto the back of his head.

In somewhat unorthodox fashion, Pogba appears to have produced a movie-style trailer for his new haircut, which he duly shared on Instagram.

"Back home with the two stars," the 25-year-old wrote.

Of course, the Manchester United midfielder leaves himself open to yet more criticism of his flashy demeanour, but it you can't celebrate winning a World Cup then, honestly, when are you allowed to celebrate?

Real Madrid have unveiled their latest third kit which will be worn against Roma on Tuesday night. Adidas have kept with a similar theme in selecting “untraditional” colors for Madrid’s 3rd kit and have again opted for a red like the 3rd kit worn in the 2011-2012 season. The kit is produced completely from the Parley material which is made of plastic recovered from different bodies of water all across the planet.

Madrid are among many European clubs in support of the environment by wearing the Parley strip. Manchester United, Juventus, and Bayern Munich will all have third kits made out of the same Parley material. The new kit can already be found on Real Madrid’s official website where new UCL training gear and player customization is also available.

The red kits were a good omen for Madrid in 2011-2012 season as they won the league under Jose Mourinho with over 100 points. Julen Lopetegui and the boys will be hoping for similar results this season as they enter a post-Cristiano Ronaldo era.

Cristiano Ronaldo displayed some of his vast array of skills in his first outdoor training session with his new Juventus team-mates.

Ronaldo, a €112million signing from Real Madrid, met up with the rest of the senior squad for the first time on Monday for fitness work following his post-World Cup holiday.

The Portugal forward was out on the Vinovo pitches on Tuesday where he looked most unlike a player who has not kicked a ball in anger since Portugal exited the World Cup at the last-16 stage on June 30.

The 33-year-old produced some juggling skills for the cameras before taking part in a short crossbar challenge and long-range shooting exercise.

Not wanting to be beaten after Rodrigo Bentancur fired the ball into the top corner, the former Manchester United star sent a shot off the woodwork, raced onto the rebound and shouldered it into the net.

Ronaldo is expected to make his competitive debut when Juventus start their Serie A title defence against Chievo on August 18.

It’s a good thing that in Nigeria today soccer can now be watched on-the-go from our smartphones by just installing any of the best soccer app I’m going to be sharing with you in this article.
There are a whole lot of app for watching soccer than ever before, but it can be really confusing and time-consuming to hunt for the best soccer app that’ll give you exactly what you want.
If your interest is in seeing games on-the-go, keep up with the scores or listen to some great football talk shows, here are the 5 best app to watch football that you should consider:

1. NBC Sports Live Extra
app for watching soccer

If you’re a fan of a Premier League club, this is a must have app for watching soccer. With this app, you can watch every single Premier League match in a season, and it’s absolutely FREE.

Every of the games are shown live on this app so you don’t have to worry about missing a game. On Mondays, they normally post the highlights & some of the interviews.

You can download Live Extra on iOS, Android and Windows Phone devices including the Apple TV and Roku.

2. Livescore
app for watching soccer

If you’re interested in checking some scores sharply, Livescore is the best soccer app for that. They are very quick to update once the goals come in. The latest version features team line-ups as well as an in-game stats too.

3. ESPN FC
app for watching soccer

This app is very easy to customize and you can get alerts for goals, game starts & more. Unlike other app for watching soccer, it also tracks MLS teams too so you need not have to worry about missing a game or any breaking news.

The ESPN FC app is downloadable on iOS and Android devices.

4. theScore
app for watching soccer

One of the biggest things I love about this app is that there’s a social integration portion as well as the great amount of customization where this app can be set up to get alerts for specific players.

One of the few disadvantages, however, is that sometimes news alerts as well as scorelines are quite untimely. For me, I am quite crazy about the interface which is good for someone that has to know everything about his/her teams and individual players and also be able to share it with their friends ASAP.

See thescore app here.

5. Tunein
app to watch football games

Tunein is a very simple app to watch football games. It aggregates thousands of radio stations, podcasts & live audio into one app.

You can choose from talkSPORT, BBC World Service, BBC Radio 5 Live & a host of other soccer-specific channels.

Those are the best app to watch football! If you think I missed any great app to watch football games, please indicate them in the comments section.

An Editor for an Egyptian newspaper Al-Ahram has caused an uproar when he accused Liverpool star Mohamed Salah of carrying about a terrorist-like beard.

Mohamed Salah
ShareFacebookTwitterGoogle+LinkedInStumbleUpon
The Egyptian forward has been one of the stars of the Premier League season.

He joined Liverpool from Roma last summer for just 35 million pounds and the ex Chelsea forward has been in sensational goalscoring form ever since.

Salah is EPL’s joint-top scorer with Tottenham’s Harry Kane on 24 goals.

On the other hand, while most fans are loving Salah’s sensational form this season, he has been criticized in his native soil for his “terrorist” beard.

An Egyptian columnist, Salah Montaser is the one picking on the Liverpool star in Al-Ahram.

Montaser said that Salah should shave his beard as it “puts him in one basket with extremists…. and terrorists.”

Already, lots of Egyptians have since turned to social media to say that opinion is nonsense.
