what the Chinese used the name for, is what will determine your action... Was it used for a different thing that is not related to the domain? Porn?, affiliate site? Phishing site?, e-commerce site? Or brand website etc

Yeah, if it was used for any of those, does it affect the potential value of the name or does it make the name less sellable?

But it is not every name that can be used as adult name. Look at the name from your inteligence and see if such name can be used as adult name , then do away with it. Chinese like using of numbers and Bleep and so on as adult service.

I've seen normal names that had nothing to do with adult content redirect to Chinese sites not in any way related to the name, that's why I'm asking..

After checking the way back and it has such history (even though the name might be a good one), does that history of Chinese use automatically make it a bad buy?
