Nothing much;

- Everyone is kinda slow and clumsy. The rain didn’t help matters.

- They put sanitizers at strategic places and we have a handwashing prefect, lol. The cleaners have been asked to work extra.

- They are considering making us continue shifts to reduce the number of staff in the office.

- Use of face masks. They gave us this too.

- I don’t have clients coming in here. My heart goes out to people who have much customer interface, because with what I am seeing- there would be CASUALTIES. Social distancing isn’t working!

- Someone swapped my seat for one that slides down. I will go look for mine when I am ready. They don’t know I marked it.

- I am looking at my (new) boss differently today. Over the work-from-home period, I realized in-house pressure influences lots of his erratic behavior.

Apart from its inherent risk, feels good to see my colleagues physically. I missed their faces, I missed our COB xrated talks. I missed the food we order...etc

Please i know this might sound intrusive but what kind of organization do you work in... Is it Nigerian or Foreign owned... Also is your boss the owner of the company or just a manager?

Guy, I'm like you.. the funny thing is that I'm in my mid 30's.. I'm comfortable in terms of work. (I earn close to 150k per month), I drive a car but still find it difficult to socialize.. I don't have a close male friend, the female friends that come always back out after a while..

Their main reason is that im too boring.. I have to be honest, it affects my me psychologically in the sense that the next friend I'll meet might still say the same.

To be honest, making money doesn't make girls chase after you or improve your social life. I know jobless people that have lots of friends and hot Girls chase after..

Or could it be the lifestyle of Port Harcourt based people (especially the females).. I served in Calabar and had lots of friends there.

How do I improve my social life.. I'm not getting any younger and I hope it doesn't affect my search for a spouse.

Do you have hobbies, do you travel, dont you want to do things and talk to people about them?

Can you play the guita, cook great food, write great stories, can you wire a house, build an electronic device what are your hobbies mehn.... Can you dance, play card games, scrabble....

I'm socially fvcked up beyond repair. Ever think you're at the point where you started learning things too late? It's where I am right now.

High school days were tormenting, I had friends that tortured me emotionally, lowered my self esteem and confidence.


Now I'm 19, first year in the uni. Never had a gf, very few friends.
I've been a chronic Introvert, was shy (not anymore).

My outward appearance makes people wanna come close, then they get to notice I'm socially awkward and I'm politely forgotten.

I don't want this Life anymore, I just want to live a normal social life.

In my class some people see me as socially awkward.... I barely talk though lots ofi guys and girls like being around me.... But i live my life. I focus on making money and perfecting my skills

I can now play thr guitar, piano, do graphics and write books.

I'm a student already earning above the minimum wage....

When girls enter my room, i don't try to impress them, i dont even reply their compliments... I sometimes say... I know....

I dont hate my social awkwardness, instead i use the spare time it gives me to focus on getting money and enjoying myself.....

Take life very seriously when you're alone or working but when you're in public, take life less seriously, laugh and joke and play...

If no one laughs at your jokes... make better jokes... Dont start feeling bad...

Another thing is to have direction, ambition.... Remember that you're not going to see those your school friends after 5 years.. so if you live your life because of them you will end up lost after five years...

So plan for youro future and work towards it..... Laugh and joke with your school friends and seriously work towards your future....

Don't try to be the most popular or most loved in school.... Simply be Happy...

Embrace your awkwardness... Stop judging your life by looking like others....

Develop hobbies, learn skills, stay busy and focus on your life goals.... That way you'll have a better future...

I got a Tec junior 2 months old and i noticed that when the gen is running for some minutes, therr will be a power surge, the current will increase and then return to normal....

Imagine the gen running and then it hums loudly, then the light increases for a second and everything returns to normal

Let me say it in another way.

Imagine a car been warmed up , the car will be fired like voom voom voom.... Like that

So the gen is running for some minutes and then its as is the engine is fired and it goes voooom for a second, the light current increases for a second and it retuns back to normal

Whats going on..

I,m only using a big orl fan, 100 watts bulb, 32 inches TV, laptop... thats all

Even though I didn't share the full story to avoid too much argument, let's summarize the little I shared.

She came, we laughed, she gave me money, we ate together, played, and showered together, etc.

While going, she noticed a carton of indomie I bought some weeks or days ago has been untouched, so I told her to take as many as she can because I only eat indomie once in 2 years — I hate the food.
