Hello everyone,

I’m seeking advice on how best to find a reliable and experienced female nanny/house help within Surulere, Lagos. This is a non-live-in role, so the person will need to resume early in the morning and close in the evening (weekend hours can be negotiated).

Salary will be negotiated, with possible bonuses and incentives based on performance. The employee will also be provided with meals while on duty.

Please share suggestions on trusted ways or platforms to find good help — or kindly recommend someone who might be interested.

While I hate sokoloan for other reasons, the reason why they take such extreme measures is because they don't have a choice

1..many of their customers don't pay back at all or very late

2. Records and registrations in Nigeria are very very poor.

Having said that I agree their methods are too harsh. Having said that if you are planning to take a loan from one of those loan companies like sokoloan and paylater and branch, as the terms and conditions says make sure you have the means to pay as and at when due.

Them loan companies are evil but they unfortunately meet a need. Our banks won't give you a 5000naira loan for two weeks. Even if your salary is domiciled there ( except for a few)

The last paragraph is not true. You can get facilities like salary advance and liquidate it even before pay time if you want.

The owner and moderators of nairaland should watch this.. Almost nothing in life lasts forever. Don't allow Nairaland to go to the dogs and be known for stuff like this. It will gradually chase away the quality of people you really want and kill the reputation over time.
