He would rather hand over to a military person from his religion and ethnic group than hand over to the winner of the election who is from another ethnic group. Thats what its all about. Same mentality his people have over here as well. If we are not on top then we make the country ungovernable. Too bad
Is that not the same mentality that Yusuf Datti-Ahmed has been displaying since losing the last presidential election with his principal, Peter Obi?

Did he not just recently declare that the military should have prevented the swearing in of this current government, and goading the military that they are above the law as regards the recent spat between the FCT Minister and the military officer turned mai guard?

Timubu and buhari where not just inciting non state actors but actively funding them for felony

Remind me what happened to them again, Y0riuba people go convince themselves say na unity or love of country concern them

No other region hate Nigeria reach this self centered group
Remind us the parallel government that a state Governor Rotimi Amaechi was running as a PDP Governor while the same PDP held the Presidency of Nigeria?

Was it while the same Governor was prevented from accessing his own office by the state police commissioner Mbu?

Or was it with all the shenanigans that both first lady Patience Jonathan and minister of state Wicked Wike perpetrated to ensure the minority tried to impeach the majority at the state house of assembly and the Governor?

Or was this parallel government because Governor Amaechi was frustrated to the point where he had to abandon the PDP to join the newly formed APC, just because he would not surrender his authority as State Governor to do whatever was dictated to him by First Lady Patience Jonathan?

Pray tell, what actions by a Governor that was being severely humiliated by the federal government and his own party (PDP) and eventual former party (still PDP), could have been misconstrued by you as an act of parallel government against your beloved President Jonathan who could never stand up to the insecurity that plagued his regime, but had all the resources to ridicule a State Governor and his political opponents?

This government played into this guy's hands again. They should have just ignored him.

The man went to arise news and made those recent remarks intentionally so that this government can pick him up.
That loser has been over ignored for too long to the point that he is feeling invincible and clearly calling for a military intervention.

Considering that there has been an alleged military coup in the offing that was neutralised, it is time to go hard on anarchists like him.

He is the one that has played into the hand of government, and it would be foolish if he his not put where he belongs now.

President Tinubu is too cool with those that should have long been incarcerated.

Imagine the lawlessness from Yussuf Datti-Ahmed?

According to a security source on Friday night, “A few days ago, Baba-Ahmed was on national television blaming the judiciary and the military for allowing the swearing-in of President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima. He even went to the length of inciting the military that it was President Tinubu’s swearing-in that made it possible for them to look you in the face and call you ‘bloody fools’.”
They allowed this loser to bite to the point where he felt anything goes.

He should be criminally charged to court.

Any civilian government that allows politicians to incite anarchy and invite military dictatorship, should blame itself when the military seize the opportunity to strike.

If I was President, this Datti-Ahmed will never taste freedom again until he is criminally convicted for treason.

If terrorists reside within the country and even build camps comfortably, the government is definitely involved

Make it make sense, the government has everything in their disposal to fish out these terrorists. They have the air, land, sea… they have communication, and unlimited access to use the highest grade of military weapons…
Our government is useless.

Our security architecture in this 21st century has been useless since it is still operating like the 1980s.

Falz has asked the right questions.

How many terrorists were killed or captured to ensure the rescue/release of the hostages?

Have they debriefed the released hostages to get information about the location and modus operandi of these terrorists?

There's now a bus garage, bridge, metroline and jetty between the cathedral, Broad street and the atlantic ocean today.
It is not an ocean but a lagoon, that is why it is still and without waves.

Expansion of the little parcel of land between the Marina and the lagoon effectively created a new Marina that was not so named, and made the current Marina a false description.

Broad Street is behind the cathedral, hence behind the Marina.

Can’t say i’m surprised at the way you Igbo-haters have been creating countless number of threads and making countless number of posts to gloat and jerk-off in celebration ever since the kangaroo and teleguided court of Omotosho delivered his scripted ‘judgment’! I guess you’re now heaving a sigh of relief as you think your number one enemy and the biggest threat to your business enterprise that is ‘one Nigeria’ has been removed from the scene and caged in one of the worst jails you could find, all in a bid to satiate your thirst for vengeance!?

Dude, Igboland has always been free even with the prior existence of IPOB, and MASSOB before them! Engineered insecurity in the region began AFTER that demonic despot, Buhari, became ‘President’ in 2015 and subsequently rushed to tag IPOB as ‘terrorists’ so he could ‘justify’ his planned state-sanctioned and cold-blooded murder of its members and other Igbo/Biafrans in the region! Hope you remember when that fat toad Dokubo inadvertently let slip that Buhari had unofficially sanctioned his boys to operate in the south-east!? A man who has consistently derided the Igbo was allowed by Buhari to have his armed boys operate in the south-east, and to you see nothing wrong with this!?

I have continuously warned Ndigbo that we can NEVER be safe, secure and prosper to the full extent of our abilities while sharing the same country with the likes of you, Tinubu, Buhari and your ilk! Quit the emergency ‘love’ for Ndigbo mate! We would sooner trust a rattlesnake!

All this jubilation and filling up nairaland with gloating threads and posts are all aimed at trying to distract Nigerians, who are notorious for having a short attention span, from the disastrous leadership of your emilokan gangster boss! Insecurity everywhere you look; economy in the doldrums; Trump threatening to unleash hellfire cruise missiles on una heads, yet you’re preoccupied with Mazi Kanu! ! Your desperation to try and change topic is understandable!
Is Igboland not free from the nuisance of IPOB today?

PoliticsRe: My Take On Alex Otti's Cryptic Message Regarding Nnamdi Kanu's Release by Throwback: 9:11am On Nov 23, 2025
truthera:
I expected Alex Otti and other south east governors to have released a joint powerful statement on 20th November denouncing illegal unjust judgement of Nnamdi Kanu but their embarrassing slience exposed their hypocrisy and selfish political sentiments. It is obvious that just like Peter Obi who waited for 2 days before making a statement, Otti may be playing to the gallery due to mounting pressures from Abia people and Nigerians online... Will see how it goes if his plan of freeing Kanu will work out in the next few days....
There is nothing illegal or unjust about the judgement of Nnamdi Kanu, so give it a rest already and stop forcing influential Igbos to identify with a terrorist that also wanted to forcefully make himself the leader of Igbos.

A megalomaniac terrorist like Nnamdi kanu that caused the death of many igbos and Nigerian security agents, belongs in a dungeon.

Other terrorists in Nigeria would also join him there as he has joined others there.

It's either Tinubu did not really realise the magnitude and severity of what he was getting into or he just doesn't give a flyingfuck!
No one truly realises the enormity of Nigeria’s problems (security, electricity, infrastructural needs, healthcare) until they get to power.

But 2years is enough to get it right with security if the courage to do the needful is applied wirgout any concerns about the political outcomes.

Who replaces world-class physicians with herbal storytellers during brain surgery?
Who replaces strategic diplomacy with reckless grandstanding?
Who replaces law with theatrics?
Truth be told, Ejiofor craftily navigated the legal proceedings to ensure that the case would be scuttled rather than concluded, because he knew well enough that the verdict would be guilty.

On that note, he really tried for his client since 2015.
PoliticsRe: Why FG Hasn’t Prosecuted Terrorism Financiers – Minister by Throwback:
On the delayed appointment of ambassadors, the minister said President Tinubu was already finalising the list, adding that the nominees were undergoing security vetting.

The minister also confirmed ongoing diplomatic engagements between Nigeria, the United States, and other countries, explaining that misunderstandings about Nigeria’s security challenges were being clarified.
Whose fault is it if we do not have ambassadors to properly engage our international partners?

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is solely to blame.

He embraced some of the rubbish that Buhari introduced, like taking forever to name his cabinet and also to appoint new ambassadors after relieving the previous ones from their duty.

It is a show of unseriousness that was never expected from his government.

Yes there are south East politicians on that league, but the keg players are Hausafulanis that kidnapped Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and yoruba government and judge that unjustly convicted him.

Was Simon Ekpa also unjustly convicted in Finland?
PoliticsRe: Peter Obi Reacts To Nnamdi Kanu's Life Sentencing by Throwback: 12:50pm On Nov 22, 2025
Conviction of criminals after due prosecution would not aggravate anything.

We must stop glorifying riff-raffs and must stop pampering threats to our freedoms and peace.

Except we are truly a disgraced country where anything goes and there are no consequences for violence, anarchy, vandalism, terrorism, murder.

Nnamdi Kanu is where he belongs and many more will meet him there as he had met others there.

The ones not so lucky to be caught alive will meet them on the other side.
PoliticsRe: Christian Genocide: Nigeria is a disgrace, the Government is ineffective - Trump by Throwback: 11:49am On Nov 22, 2025
It is evident that our military leadership and government do not know what to do or need to be compelled to take the drastic actions they have been avoiding.

I very much welcome the attention that America and Trump are focusing on a truly disgraceful and shameful country that has failed to protect its own citizens from local terrorism since the past 15years.

A useless country where police and military news regale us with tales of how they engaged attackers and managing to kill only a few and chasing the rest of them into the bushes with presumably gunshot injuries, but same police and military men then return to their bases as though the threat has been neutralised?

Tinubu is currently failing in providing security for the country, but has time to conclude without failure as his verdict.

This is not the time for sentiments or politics, this is time for merciless vengeance.

They need not panicked, these are their own family and siblings as seen in a protest few weeks ago.
Matter of fact if the terrorists come to them, they might sight their brother, father or uncle which gives them immunity against being kidnapped or killed

Secondly, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu the international terrorist has been convicted, there is peace and calm in the north now.
You identified the same problem that you suffer from.

They see their own menace as their brothers that should be left alone.

You also betray the same sentiments in seeing the terrorists called Nnamdi Kanu as someone who should be left alone.

Same disease, different hosts being ravaged by their own sentiments rather that embrace the needed remedy.

njokuuche77:
What you’re seeing here is the result of a country where insecurity has gone on for so long that people no longer wait for confirmation before reacting. When citizens consistently hear of kidnappings, school abductions, and attacks across different states, fear becomes automatic

So the panic in Rukubi isn’t just about one rumour, it’s about years of insecurity, slow responses, and a government that hasn’t yet been able to restore the confidence people need to feel safe.
Very true.

The Nigerian government is always too slow to react.

The North is doomed and I say this with all objectivity.

The North doomed itself and must not be allowed to doom any other region of the country.

The military should unleash the full force of its arsenal now that the whole world is asking questions. A full frontal assualt that would obliterate both human shield and terrorists.

Anyone who objects or constitutes a nuisance over the military operations in the North must be viewed as an enemy of the state and promptly put where others would learn from.

Do not make the mistake of trying to rescue anyone, we have already failed them by allowing them to be taken in the first instance. Trying to save them would only weaken the resolve to overrun the terrorists.

And in your ever ingratious manner, you didn't see the arrest and conviction of Ekpa in Finland after pressure from the Tinubu govt.

The arrest/elimination of Gentle and his cannibal penal militia terrorists by this same govt went a long way in stabilizing your SE .

But in your mind this govt hates ibos
It is hard to convince the Igbo that anyone loves them.

I believe they thrive on their own hate that is reflected back to them.

There should be rejoicing in the SouthEast that the menace of IPOB was crushed.

He is experienced in bandit negotiations from his time as zamfara gov

That's the only qualification that's needed given the bandit friendly agenda of tinubu
As laughable as it sounds, that experience as Governor of a bandit ravaged state should have become a very handy tool kit to help the government face the problem squarely, instead it has become of no use.

The Defence minister is also a former Governor of Jigawa, both are in a position of authority over the military operations going on to combat terrorists that are wrongly addressed as bandits.
