There is nothing too stupid for political supporters to believe.

Especially when their own preferred candidate is not up to the task.

When I want to know about any tragedy in Nigeria outside of the SouthEast, I go searching for Peter Obi's reactions.

When I want to know about any tragedy in the SouthEast of Nigeria, I go searching for Reno Omokri's accusations against Peter Obi for his famous hypocrisy.

Very good project powered by Niger Delta oil money. Lagos was being developed as our federal capital with money from Nigeria's main source of funds, crude oil.

There are federal projects all over Nigeria regardless of where the capital is or was sited.

Lagos is also a state, with a state government and a state budget that is expended on infrastructures too.

If your state is barren, then do not blame it on the lack of being a federal capital or former federal capital.

Lagos state was built by our money hence why we refer it as a no man's land. 😀

Lagos State like every other state in Nigeria receives federal allocations.

That does not stop the siting of federal projects in the state as with any other state.

Most importantly, that does not stop every state in Nigeria from focusing on internally generated revenue like Lagos state has excelled.

How does all these answer the question that Obi domiciled Anambra funds in his own bank when he was Governor?

Or that he invested Anambra public funds in his own Brewery?

Or how does sitting in Economy class explain the fact that it was when Obi had access to the state treasury as a public official, that he saw the need to create secret offshore accounts under his daughter's name to hide stupendous wealth?

Typical.

Same strikes, delayed payments, waste of public funds etc.

Then the extra crime of investing state funds in his own Brewery, while also domiciling state funds in a bank he was the previous chairman, thereby acting as a great marketer for his own bank.

Politics / Re: How FG Cheated Lagos State On Dedicated 230MW IPP Deal by Throwback: 10:50am On Sep 07
Being the first state to attempt to break the monopoly of the defunct National Electric Power Authority (NEPA), with the initiation of the Enron Power Project on August 1, 1999, coupled with the recent inauguration of a transformer manufacturing factory, Lagos State has maintained its pioneering role in power projects in Nigeria, Ejiofor Alike, writes

Enron Experiment
At the peak of the abysmal performance of the defunct National Electric Power Authority (NEPA), now Power Holding Company of Nigeria(PHCN), Lagos State under the then Governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, became the first state to attempt to break the monopoly of the ailing power giant by initiating a giant Independent Power Project(IPP).
On August 1, 1999, the Tinubu-led administration, Yinka Folawiyo Power Limited and Enron Corporation of the United States signed an agreement for an IPP, with the Federal Government as the guarantor.
The barge-mounted electricity generating plant was to be located adjacent to the NEPA’s Egbin Power Station, Nigeria’s biggest power plant.

The generating facility was originally designed to consist of nine barge-mounted combustion turbines with a total net output of 290megawatts of electricity...

...In June 2001, the IPP began commercial operations and NEPA began to purchase capacity and energy under the BPPA.
‘However, in clear breach of the BPPA and the spirit of the Contribution Agreement, NEPA failed and or refused to devote any or all of the electrical output of the IPP to customers in the areas designated in the BPPA submitted for its contribution by NEPA,” the state said.

Very impressed that this project began operations less than 2years from when it was initiated.

The current Power Minister employed by the same Bola Tinubu who achieved this as Governor, should employ this model all over the country.

Empresa:

Stable electricity is a direct substitute to fuel that was why Obi traveled himself all the way to Egypt to get a solution for our epileptic Power supply.

Obi had it all planned out how to go about it because he was with Jonathan's economic team that wanted to remove the subsidy your Tinubu removed without a template.

So Obi would have done better and Nigerians won't be suffering like this.

Your misconception is to think any candidate that won election in 2023 would have provided Nigeria with stable electricity by 2024.

Will the funds drop from heaven like rain, and would the infrastructure just appear and start working like an imagination?

Tinubu as far back as 1999 with only few months in office as Governor, already understood the need for improved power and the means to get it done, so he appraoched Enron in the USA to come to Lagos and set up an IPP.

But you are talking about a Peter Obi that went to Egypt to get campaign talking points in 2022.

Why did Obi not go to Egypt when he was Governor?

Some of you also include those who voted for the winner of the election that became President, and they are earning better than you.

Defense or support for a government in power, has nothing to do with the election that produced that government.

What is the right thing to an election loser?

That the loser must have been declared the winner?

What then is the right thing to the alternate loser?

No matter how you dice it, a loser and the supporters would always be angry.
