IslamClerics Sentence 4 Women And 2 Men To Death For Singing And Dancing At Wedding by tidytim(op): 10:49pm On May 29, 2012
"Allah did not create man so that he could have fun. The aim of creation was for mankind to be put to the test through hardship and prayer. An Islamic regime must be serious in every field. There are no jokes in Islam. There is no humor in Islam. There is no fun in Islam. There can be no fun and joy in whatever is serious." -- Ayatollah Khomeini

Four women and two men have been sentenced to death in northern Pakistan for singing and dancing at a wedding, police say.

Clerics issued a decree after a mobile phone video emerged of the six enjoying themselves in a remote village in the mountainous district of Kohistan, 176km north of the capital Islamabad.

Pakistani authorities in the area said local clerics had ordered the punishment over allegations that the men and women danced and sang together in Gada village, in defiance of strict tribal customs that separate men and women at weddings.

"The local clerics issued a decree to kill all four women and two men shown in the video," district police officer Abdul Majeed Afridi said.

The local clerics issued a decree to kill all four women and two men shown in the video," district police officer Abdul Majeed Afridi said.
"It was decided that the men will be killed first, but they ran away so the women are safe for the moment. I have sent a team to capture them and am waiting to hear some news," he said, adding that the women had been confined to their homes.

Afridi said the events stemmed from a dispute between two tribes and that there was no evidence the men and women had been mingling.

"All of them were shown separately in the video. I've seen the video taken on a cell phone myself. It shows four women singing and a man dancing in separate scenes and then another man sitting in a separate shot," he said.

"This is tribal enmity. The video has been engineered to defame the tribe," he added.

The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan said at least 943 women and girls were murdered last year for allegedly defaming their family's honour.

The statistics highlight the scale of violence suffered by many women in conservative Muslim Pakistan, where they are frequently treated as second-class citizens.

IslamCaliph Omar's Ultimatum To Persian King, Yazdgird Iii And The King's Response by tidytim(op): 4:17pm On Feb 28, 2012
Text of the ultimatum from Omar Ibn-Khat'tab the Calif of Islam to the Iranina Sovereign, Yazdgerd III:

Bism-ellah Ar'rahman Ar'rhim To the Shah of the Fars
I do not foresee a good future for you and your nation save your acceptance of my terms and your submission to me. There was a time when your country ruled half the world, but see how now your sun has set. On all fronts your armies have been defeated and your nation is condemned to extinction. I point out to you the path whereby you might escape this fate. Namely, that you begin worshipping the one god, the unique deity, the only god who created all that is. I bring you his message. Order your nation to cease the false worship of fire and to join us, that they may join the truth.

Worship Allah the creator of the world. Worship Allah and accept Islam as the path of salvation. End now your polytheistic ways and become Muslims that you may accept Allah-u-Akbar as your savior. This is the only way of securing your own survival and the peace of your Persians. You will do this if you know what is good for you and for your Persians. Submission is your only option. Allah u Akbar.

The Calif of Muslims Omar Ibn-Khat'tab

Response of the Persian King:

In the name of Ahuramazda, the Creator of Life and Wisdom.

From the Shahan-Shah of Iran Yazdgerd to Omar Ibn Khat'tab the Arab Calif. In your letter you summon us Iranians to your god whom you call "Allah-u-Akbar"; and because of your barbarity and ignorance, without knowing who we are and Whom we worship, you demand that we seek out your god and become worshippers of "Allah-u-Akbar".

How strange that you occupy the seat of the Arab Caliph but are as ignorant as any desert roaming Arab! You admonish me to become monotheistic in faith. Ignorant man, for thousands of years we Aryaee have, in this land of culture and art, been monotheistic and five times a day have we offered prayers to God's Throne of Oneness. While we laid the foundations of philanthropy and righteousness and kindness in this world and held high the ensign of "Good Thoughts, Good Words and Good Deeds", you and your ancestors were desert wanderers who ate snakes and lizards and buried your innocent daughters alive.

You Arabs who have no regard for God's creatures, who mercilessly put people to the sword, who mistreat your women and bury you daughters alive, who attack caravans and are highway robbers, who commit murder, who kidnap women and spouses; how dare you presume to teach us, who are above these evils, to worship God?

You tell me to cease the worship of fire and to worship God instead! To us Iranians the light of Fire is reminiscent of the Light of God. The radiance and the sun-like warmth of fire exuberates our hearts, and the pleasant warmth of it brings our hearts and spirits closer together, that we may be philanthropic, kind and considerate, that gentleness and forgiveness may become our way of life, and that thereby the Light of God may keep shining in our hearts.

Our God is the Great Ahuramazda. Strange is this that you too have now decided to give Him a name, and you call Him by the name of "Allah-u-Akbar".

But we are nothing like you. We, in the name of Ahuramazda, practice compassion and love and goodness and righteousness and forgiveness, and care for the dispossessed and the unfortunate; But you, in the name of your "Allah-u-Akbar" commit murder, create misery and subject others to suffering! Tell me truly who is to blame for your misdeeds? Your god who orders genocide, plunder and destruction, or you who do these things in his name? Or both?

You, who have spent all your days in brutality and barbarity, have now come out of your desolate deserts resolved to teach, by the blade and by conquest, the worship of God to a people who have for thousands of years been civilized and have relied on culture and knowledge and art as mighty supports.

What have you, in the name of your "Allah-u-Akbar", taught these armies of Islam besides destruction and pillage and murder that you now presume to summon others to your god?

Today, my people's fortunes have changed. Their armies, who were subjects of Ahuramazada, have now been defeated by the Arab armies of "Allah-u-Akbar". And they are being forced, at the point of the sword, to convert to the god by the name of "Allah-u-Akbar". And are forced to offer him prayers five times a day but now in Arabic; since your "Allah-u-Akbar" only understands Arabic.

I advise you to return to your lizard infested deserts. Do not let loose upon our cities your cruel barbarous Arabs who are like rabid animals. Refrain from the murder of my people. Refrain from pillaging my people. Refrain from kidnapping our daughters in the name of your "Allah-u-Akbar". Refrain from these crimes and evils.

We Aryaee are a forgiving people, a kind and well-meaning people. Wherever we go, we sow the seeds of goodness, amity and righteousness. And this is why we have the capacity to overlook the crimes and the misdeeds of your Arabs.

Stay in your desert with your "Allah-u-Akbar", and do not approach our cities; for horrid is your belief and brutish is your conduct.

IslamFrom Islam To Atheism After A Stint Of Employment In Saudi Arabia by tidytim(op): 3:59pm On Feb 28, 2012
Enlightening My Father about the Real Islam and the Fatal Consequence

By Mirza Ghalib

This article is to make those Muslims, who wish to discover the truth about their religion, aware of the fact that the truth about real Islam can be hard to come to terms with; it may even turn fatal as happened with my father. (Read in Bahasha Indonesia)

I am a non-Arab Indian Muslim. I went for a job to Saudi Arabia as a pious Muslim and returned to my beloved country as an Atheist after ten long years of service there. I was trained by my parents to pray five times a day from childhood and read the Quran daily in “Arabic”. In a simple term, I was the perfect Muslim according to the Indian standard of Islam.

There were several factors behind my conversion to Atheism from Islam in Saudi Arabia. Out of them, the very important factor was: I was teased by my Arab colleagues for not being a perfect Muslim. I found it an insult to my religious pride, because I was thinking that I was the perfect Muslim.

The mental torture, which I had received from them, forced me to study and analyze Islam. They laughed at me for not knowing the meaning of the Quran. So, I read the translation of the “Holy Quran” in my mother tongue URDU, which I hadn’t done before. In India, we never read the Quran in our own mother tongue. Instead, we were made to read it in the holy language of Allah and the Prophet — “the language of afterlife” — which is Arabic. Though we don’t understand the meaning of a single Arabic word, it is thought to bring more virtue (swaab).

When my Arab colleagues teased me of not understanding the Quran, I took to reading it in Urdu so that I could understand its meaning and could become a more pious, a better, Muslim.

As started reading it in Urdu, I had a shock and was confused after few pages. Many of the verses seemed barbaric. And what I did: Instead of suspecting the teaching of the supposedly perfect divine Quran, I suspected my proficiency in Urdu. Then, I read it in other languages I knew, including English. All the translations were consistent: Whether in Urdu or English, those verses gave the same meaning. Then only was I sure that my knowledge in Urdu was not the problem; the Quran itself is problematic.

After coming back from Saudi Arabia to my motherland as an Atheist, I felt pity on my aging parents, who are wasting their precious time in praying five times a day, plus in additional midnight prayers. Apart from that, they were always in fear about their death and the tortures they may receive in their graves as per the teachings of Islam. As a filial, loving son, and a responsible human being, I vowed to liberate my beloved parents from the shackles and tyranny of the Islamic dogma.

But it was a very difficult tusk to explain the faults of religion to people in their 70s so as to change their belief. I explained to my religious parents the complete scenario of my experience in Saudi Arabia: the disrespectful behavior of most of the Saudis and their “(in)hospitality” toward non-Muslims and non-Arab Muslims.

They simply rejected my words and were not prepared to hear anything odd about their Arab brothers. It’s because the non-Arab Muslims hold great reverence for the Saudis, since they belongs to Islam’s holy land, the land of their beloved prophet. Let me, here, make it clear that I do not hate the Saudis, who have been fooled by Prophet Muhammad and his Islam. Instead, I feel pity for them, as they are the first and worst victims of Islam.

Determined to enlighten my parents about the true face of Islam, I persisted and my parents eventually accepted my words about the Saudis. But to absolve Islam of the Saudi’s bad behaviour and attitude, they now switched argument: Maybe you are correct, because the bad Saudis had given so much trouble to our beloved prophet during his lifetime.

Here, my parents now tried to shield Prophet Muhammad, the only one Saudi man, thanks to tremendous reverence they hold toward him. Then, I revealed the true character of Muhammad to them from his hadiths, which also make the Saudis behave in such manners. Then they said, they don’t trust the hadiths, as most of them were written by the enemies of Islam.

Since they said they don’t trust the hadiths, I told them, in frustration, to stop praying five times a day, because the Quran never mentions anything about praying five times a day; it is only mentioned in the hadiths.

While Muslims overwhelmingly believe hadiths as the holy tradition of the Prophet, it has now become a new tactic amongst non-Arab Muslims of our age that if a hadith preaches something about Islam and Muhammad, which is contrary to local ethics and morality, then it is a weak hadith. They are taught by the mullahs that most of the hadiths, which reveals the true character of Muhammad, but does not suit the culture of the locals, were written by the enemies of Islam.

The culture of Saudi Arabia, which fits well with teachings of the Islamic scriptures, can’t fit with cultures of the rest of the World. I like to share with the readers one such “cultural difference”, which I witnessed in Saudi Arabia. I witnessed an old man, aged over 75 years, with his two wives alive, took a third time — a 17 year old Jordanian girl (Because the “cost” of the girl is comparatively cheaper in Jordon. Readers please excuse my language. But this is the reality). As he returned with the young bride, he was given a very warm welcome by his well-educated sons, aged between 40 and 50. They took him on their shoulders, clapping and singing. They don’t even bother about the fate of their own mothers. They shared the joyful moments by praising their father’s “manliness” with their neighbors and friends. The language they used to glorify their father’s “manliness” can’t be explained here, as it is too crude, pornographic. Given the sons were well-educated, we can’t blame their lack of education for such behavior. It is impossible for the civilized societies to adopt such culture, not even by the cultured non-Arab Muslim societies.

The blame lies on the culture, created and encouraged by Muhammad, which can be seen in many hadiths. After all, it’s a central doctrine in Islam that Muslims must emulate the Prophet as best as possible.

So, the mullahs do their best to reject such hadiths, which contradicts the local culture, as non-authentic and weak, although they are from Sahih Al-Bukhari, which Muslims accept as the authentic collection — a book, regarded next to the Quran in the Muslim world.

I explained to my parents about the six authentic collections of hadiths, out of numerous collections. Their faith towards the dogma of Islam was so deep that I failed to convince them in this effort. But I am not of the sort, who would give up easily. So, this time, I showed them the Quranic verses, in which Allah asks Muslims to follow Muhammad’s sunnah and also the other important, but unacceptable, verses of the Quran.

Then my father, in his 70s, also started reading the Quran, like me, in his mother tongue Urdu for the first time. For the past 70 years of his life, he had been reading the Arabic Quran daily, which he didn’t understand. As for my mom, she is an illiterate, like most of the Muslim women of her age in India, and never read the Quran even in Arabic.

After reading a few pages of the Quran in Urdu, in a language that helped him understood the meaning of verses, my father, too, become disturbed because of many unacceptable verses. Having gotten a shock, he started doubting the reliability of the author, the translator and the publisher, and stopped reading it. He now scolded me for purchasing the Quran, which has been printed by the enemies of Islam — either Hindus or Christians.

I was able to convince him with facts that the translation was done by the scholars of Islam, and that it was published for the benefit of Muslims. He now asked me: why Muslims are printing such wrong translations of the Quran?

I told him that those scholars and publishers were not to blame; the problem was his lifelong misunderstood perception of Islam as a divine and perfect creed. My father was not ready to accept my explanations, neither was he ready to read the Quran further — even if it was published by a reliable Muslim publisher — because he was now afraid of losing his faith.

At this point, I tried to encourage him to continue reading it, saying that it was not a good sign that he is afraid of losing his faith. But he totally refused to read it, and I, kind of, failed again in my mission at this point. Here, the readers can sense the level of ignorance amongst moderate Muslims, who know nothing about the real Islam, and their obdurate refusal to enlighten themselves about it.

I continued nurturing hopes that my father would eventually discover the truth about Islam and free himself from its shackles. And It took me almost 10 years for my father to, eventually, read the whole Quran in Urdu. To my joy, he, at the age of 80, showed courage to read it completely. The atrocities perpetrated by Osama bin Laden’s Al-Qaeda over recent years were vital in my convincing him to read and understand the Quran’s messages. Initially, whenever he would hear a news of Al-Qaeda’s heartless terrorist atrocities, he would start abusing Osama. But I used to argue with him so as to defend Osama as the best amongst Muslims as per the teaching of the Quran and hadiths. The atrocities committed by Osama’s Jihadi followers in the name of Islam, coupled with my arguments with him, induced my father to read the Urdu Quran, hoping to understand its real message. All thanks to Osama.

Then my father requested me to brief him about some hadiths, which I had previously tried to explain to him to show Islam in a negative light. But I felt embarrassed to explain the semi-pornographic hadiths about Muhammad to my father, as a major portion of the hadiths glorifies sex and violence. So, I told him to read them by himself, instead of hearing it from someone else to be more credible. He read only a few hadiths and stopped, because he couldn’t go beyond. He had lost his faith already and declared it scrap.

The reading of the Quran, biography of Muhammad and few Hadiths in a language he understood led my father into depression and may have effected his health. He was not able to come out of this shock. He repeatedly asked me, like an innocent child, about the outcome of his 80 years of worship of Islam, and the valuable time he had spent in five-time daily prayers, mid-night prayers and other Islamic deeds. I consoled him by saying not to worry about the past; instead, I encouraged him to feel happier, as he has been freed of the fear of all alleged punishments and tortures during death, in the grave and in the hereafter. He was convinced, but still, he couldn’t tolerate the way he had been cheated by the mullahs all his life. He thanked me for rescuing him from the fear of the horror of the Islamic grave and the Hell.

Sadly, I have lost my beloved father within a few months of his enlightenment about Islam, as he was unable to come to terms with the shock, which not only perished his faith but also deteriorated his health.

He was very dedicated Muslim and spent all his life (except the last few months) praying and reading the Quran in Arabic — “the language of Paradise” — without understanding its meaning. During his last days, he felt heavily not only about his wasted precious years, more so about the way he — an educated and intelligent person — was deceived by the mullahs for 80 years, which accelerated the worsening his health and eventually his death.

At the first instance, I felt a sense of guilt for his early death, which was caused, to a good extent, by my being able to convince him to study and understand Islam. But when I recall his last days, I also feel satisfied that he faced his bodily end on earth with confidence, without the fear of tortures and hellfire as taught in Islam. Indeed, I feel proud of myself for being able to liberate him from the barbaric beliefs of Islam. I believe he would have accepted my effort at his enlightenment about Islam as the best return for the fatherly love and affection he had bestowed upon me.

For a Muslim, getting to the truth about Islam is the toughest battle in life. And the shock they get when they find out the truth can be tough to come to terms with, as was with my father, for whom it, to some extent, turned fatal. Muslims, who seek to discover the truth about Islam, should be mentally prepared before doing so.
Christianity EtcIslam Vs Mormonism - A Comparative Analysis by tidytim(op): 11:54pm On Feb 25, 2012
The Islamic faith is centered on the belief in one God and in Arabic he is called Allah. The Muslims, followers of Islam, believe that Muhammad was visited by an angel of light from whom he received God's final revelation. Muhammad claimed that this angel of light was Gabriel, the same Gabriel as the one from the Old Testament of the Bible. It was several years before these visions were recorded in what is called the Quran, the sacred scripture of Islam. Some believe that the delay in recording the revelations was due to Muhammad’s illiteracy. Muhammad taught that some of the figures of the Bible, such as Moses and Jesus, were prophets but that Jesus was not the Son of God, crucified, or resurrected. And Muhammad’s revelations superceded previous revelations that were not in agreement with his. “God has revealed His will through the medium of the prophets, that Muhammad is the last of the line of prophets, that the message revealed through Muhammad, the Koran, is the literal word of God, containing the expression of His will for man”.

The Mormon faith is centered on the belief in one God (of this world). Mormons believe that Joseph Smith was visited by an angel of light from whom he received God’s revelation. The Prophet continued to pursue his common vocations until September 21, 1823, while "suffering severe persecution at the hands of all classes of men," in part as a result of his claims concerning his first vision. As he prayed that evening that he might know his standing before God, an angel appeared at his bedside, saying that he had been sent from the presence of God and that his name was Moroni. He explained "that God had a work for [Joseph] to do; and that [his] name should be had for good and evil among all nations". He instructed Joseph concerning a book that was written on gold plates, giving an account of the former inhabitants of the continent. The fullness of the everlasting gospel was contained in the record as delivered by the Savior to these people. Joseph was also shown a vision of a nearby hill and the place where the plates containing this record were deposited. Several years later he would translate these plates into what is known as the Book of Mormon. Joseph taught that the Bible was correct as much as it is translated correctly, but his revelations superceded previous revelations that were not in agreement with his. He also taught that Jesus Christ was the Son of God through physical relations between God and Mary, but that Jesus is not God and did not pay for our sins on the cross. Along with the Book of Mormon and the Bible, Joseph received revelations that later became the Doctrine and Covenants, and the Pearl of Great Price. The four books are considered the standard works of Mormonism.

It is clear that both religions must change the nature of God and/or Jesus to allow for the new revelations. Muslims claim that Allah is the same God that Jews and Christians worship. But the history of the name is quite different. The term Allah is a purely Arabic term used in reference to an Arabic deity. The tribe into which Mohammad was born was devoted to their Allah, which was the moon god. It was represented by the black stone they believed had come down from heaven. “In Arabia, the sun god was viewed as female and the moon was viewed as the male god. In pre-Islamic times Allah was married to the sun god and together they produced three goddesses called The Daughters of Allah”. In Mormonism, they profess that there is only one God but explain that it means one God of this world meaning that there are more. They teach that God ascended to his holy place and use the phrase, “As man is, god once was, as god is, man may become”. It is interesting what the Bible says about this, “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works” (II Corinthians 11:13-15).

Islam imposed its seventh century culture in its political expression, family affairs, dietary laws, clothing, and religious rites. Likewise, Mormonism imposes a set of laws about ones life that must be adhered to, it is known as The Word of Wisdom. “The Word of Wisdom put restrictions on members of the Church. To this day those regulations apply to every member and to everyone who seeks to join the Church. They are so compelling that no one is to be baptized into the Church without first agreeing to live by them. No one will be called to teach or to lead unless they accept them. When you want to go to the temple, you will be asked if you keep the Word of Wisdom. If you do not, you cannot go to the house of the Lord until you are fully worthy”. Some of the restrictions include, wine or strong drink, “tobacco is not for the body, neither for the belly, and is not good for man, but is an herb for bruises and all sick cattle, to be used with judgment and skill, hot drinks, Yea, flesh also of beasts and of the fowls of the air, I, the Lord, have ordained for the use of man with thanksgiving; nevertheless they are to be used sparingly; And it is pleasing unto me that they should not be used, only in times of winter, or of cold, or famine”. Other restrictions are applied to dress and particularly the dress of women. In Islam they are covered from head to toe and in Mormonism they are supposed to wear clothing the covers their arms and legs. Men and women are both to wear protecting under clothing known as garments.

Both religions have demeaning practices regarding the treatment of women. In the fundamental sects of Islam, women are considered to be property and Muslim men still have the right to have up to 4 wives. In Mormonism the man holds the keys to exaltation for the woman. The subservient role of women in the Mormon temple ceremony is evident when they come to the veil in the temple. A man representing Elohim (God the Father) brings the men through the veil into the Celestial Kingdom. The women, on the other hand, are brought through by their husbands. This part of the ceremony seems to be an attempt to demonstrate that man is the head and God of the woman. The official who performs the wedding ceremony tells the man that he must look to God but the woman must look to her husband as her God. It is not possible for a woman to go to Christ, except through her husband. Mormonism also taught polygamy as an acceptable practice until after they were forced to abandon it early in the twentieth century by the Edmonds-Tucker act. Although the physical marriage has been abandoned except for some isolated areas around the country, they still practice polygamy through spiritual marriage. In this practice, leaders of the church are often “sealed” to widowed or unmarried women of the church.

After the Koran, Muhammad continued to receive revelation. He received revelations that he was to loot and steal from caravans that were going through. There were many cases where Muhammad and his followers would loot and rob caravans and would kill the men. In one of his revelations, he was told to kill and drive out all of the Jews. On one occasion he had one thousand Jewish men brought together and beheaded. Islam became known as the religion of the sword. After being forced out of Kirtland, Ohio for money laundering, polygamy and various other crimes, Joseph Smith and the Mormons moved to Nauvoo, Illinois. At Nauvoo, the Mormons organized the Nauvoo Legion. Robert Bruce Flanders explains: “The crowning provision of the charter gave the city its own little army, the famous Nauvoo Legion, The Legion was therefore independent of and not subject to the military laws of Illinois. At that time the titles Colonel, Captain or General came to replace Brother, Elder, or President in the address of the Saints. Military spoils were for them a particular symbol of status, prestige, and reassurance. Joseph Smith preferred the full title of Lieutenant General. As the city grew, so did the Legion, causing apprehension among locals concerning the nature and intent of the Mormon kingdom. Mormon writer Hyrum L. Andrus recorded: Of the Prophet's appearance as a Lieutenant General at the head of the Nauvoo Legion, Lyman L. Woods recalled, I have seen him on a white horse wearing the uniform of a general, He was leading a parade of the Legion and looked like a god. Joseph Smith seems to have desired to lead a large army, for he prepared a Petition to the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States, dated 26th March, asking the privilege of raising 100,000 men to extend protection to persons wishing to settle Oregon and other portions of the territory of the United States, and extend protection to the people in Texas.”

Joseph Smith's military plans and maneuvers were very disturbing to the non-Mormons who lived around Nauvoo. On July 21, 1841, the anti-Mormon paper, Warsaw Signal reported: "How military these people are becoming! Everything they say or do seems to breathe the spirit of military tactics. Their prophet appears, on all occasions, in his splendid regimental dress signs his name Lieut. General, and more titles are to be found in the Nauvoo Legion, than any one book on military tactics can produce; , Truly fighting must, be a part of the creed of these Saints!". In 1853 it was revealed by William Marks, a member of the Council of Fifty, that Joseph ordained himself as king to reign over the house of Israel forever. Joseph Smith was eventually arrested in Carthage, Illinois for burning down the printing office of the Nauvoo Expositor for publishing articles that he found offensive. It was from this jail that Smith killed 2 individuals while trying to escape, before he himself was shot and killed. To this day the Mormons claim this act of violence made him a martyr.

Now these similarities may be mere coincidence if there is not a link that in some way ties them together. That link exists, and it is Freemasonry. Freemasonry or the Masonic Lodge is a secret society that goes back several centuries. Freemasonry derives many of its symbols and mysticism from Arabia and Islam. They also profess belief in a God that they call the great architect of the universe. There symbols include the Arabic sword and crescent moon. The Shriners come from the thirty third degree of Freemasonry and are known to dress in ancient Arabic attire including the Fez and swords. Folklore says that the hat known as the Fez was named for the city of Fez, Morocco, where thousands of Christians were slain at the sword of Islam. As a sign of honor, the Muslims dipped the top of their hats in the blood that flowed through the streets. Mormonism is also filled with secret rituals and ceremonies that have been derived from Joseph’s family’s membership in the Masonic Lodge. One example of this is the oath given by Mormons in a temple ceremony, "We, and each of us, covenant and promise that we will not reveal any of the secrets of this, the first token of the Aaronic priesthood, with its accompanying name, sign or penalty. Should we do so; we agree that our throats be cut from ear to ear and our tongues torn out by their roots”. This is strikingly similar to the oath of the First Degree of Freemasonry, “, I will , never reveal any part or parts, art or arts, point or points of the secret arts and mysteries of ancient Freemasonry , binding myself under no less penalty than to have my throat cut across, my tongue torn out by the roots, ”. In both ceremonies the thumb is drawn across the throat to show the penalty. In Utah, Mormons cannot join their fraternity because of the things that happened in Nauvoo and they believe that Smith stole the Masonic rituals.

Kabul - At least nine protesters died and dozens of others were injured Wednesday in a day of violent protests across Afghanistan sparked by reports that international troops stationed in the country had burned Korans and other religious material.

Taliban insurgents in a statement called on all 'nationalist Afghan Muslims to attack the international forces,' while the Afghan Interior Ministry called for restraint, saying people had the right to demonstrate.

'We are trying to convince the people not to be violent,' Interior Ministry spokesman Sediq Sediqqi said.

Afghan police fired shots in the air to disperse crowds chanting 'Death to America' and 'Die Karzai', according to eyewitnesses.

Protests erupted in at least seven cities, including Kabul, where one protester was killed by bullets fired by security guards of the US-controlled Camp Phoenix, the Interior Ministry said.
A Health Ministry official said at least a dozen protesters were treated in Kabul, two of them in a critical condition.

'I can confirm that some opportunists have infiltrated the protests and attacked shops, vandalized private properties and some vehicles,' Hashmat Stanikzai, the spokesman for the Kabul city police said.

Hundreds of locals had gathered outside a housing complex used by foreigners in eastern Kabul. The angry mob, some of whom were armed with iron rods, slings shots and bamboo sticks, also set a truck on fire outside the complex.

Non-government organizations, aid agencies and United Nations officials were on high alert.

The American embassy in Kabul said it had asked staff to suspend all travel in Kabul 'until further notice.'

On Monday, foreign troops 'improperly disposed' of Islamic religious materials, including copies of the Koran, at the Bagram air base, officials from the NATO-led coalition said.

The soldiers had suspected that the texts were being used to carry extremist messages, a senior official said on condition of anonymity.

The NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) said its soldiers would now receive training in how to properly handle religious materials.
ISAF Commander John Allen has apologized for the incident, which he said was 'not intentional in any way.'

Some of the worst violence was in the Parwan province, where six people were killed and 13 injured, said Roshana Khalid, spokeswoman for the provincial governor.
'The protesters tried to storm the district headquarters and started attacking the Afghan police with live fire,' she said.

Khalid said the protesters hurled rocks and fired guns at the police. 'They vandalized private and police vehicles,' she said.

Another protester in the eastern city of Jalalabad, 150 kilometers south-east of the capital, was shot dead, an official said. Some 11 fuel tankers were set on fire and seven protesters were injured, the Interior Ministry said.

In Logar province, hundreds of people took to the streets in what had started as a series of peaceful protests.

However, one such protest eventually turned violent, resulting in the death of one person and various injuries during an attack on the district governor's office, Din Mohammad Darwish, the spokesman for the governor of Logar told dpa.

Anti-foreign sentiment has been on the rise in Afghanistan in recent days, a decade after the US-led war against the Taliban insurgency.

A UN survey last month found that 57 per cent of respondents expressed unfavorable views of the international forces. Another survey in November by The Asia Foundation said 63 per cent of Afghans were apprehensive towards the foreign troops.

In April 2011, a protest against the burning of a Koran by an American pastor turned lethal as the demonstrators stormed a United Nations compound in the northern city of Mazar-e-Sharif and killed seven foreigners, including four Nepalese guards.

At least 12 people were killed in other cities in violence that went on for at least four days.

Can you please supply the evidence that he actually unleashed violence on the natives if he did?

I hope you noticed that I stated that he was the first European that discovered America as it was not part of the generally known world.

Your topic is whether America's founding fathers were Christians or not.  It is not about following man and fairytales as you said you had been following before.  Let's stay on the topic and investigate some of these founding fathers to see if they were really Christians.

This is what inspired Christopher Columbus in his discovery of the "New World"

"It was the Lord who put it into my mind . . . I could feel His hand upon me . . . There is no question the inspiration was from the Holy Spirit because He comforted me with rays of marvelous illumination from the Holy Scriptures. . . No one should fear to undertake any task in the name of our Saviour if it is just and if the intention is purely for His holy service.  The gospel must still be preached to so many lands in such a short time.  This is what convinces me."

IslamUN condemns telling the truth about Islam, Obama Administration joins in by tidytim(op): 4:23pm On Feb 07, 2012
No one is in favor of actual "stereotyping, negative profiling and stigmatization of people based on their religion." The problem is that the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, which is driving this resolution, considers any truthful speech about the global jihad and Islamic supremacism to be "stereotyping, negative profiling and stigmatization of people based on their religion." This is an attempt to quash truth-telling about Islamic jihad so that the West stands mute and defenseless before its advance. And now the Obama Administration, fresh from a secret meeting with the OIC on just this topic, joins in.

Free Speech Death Watch Alert: "U.N. Adopts ‘Religious Intolerance’ Resolution Championed by Obama Administration," by Patrick Goodenough for CNS News, December 20 (thanks to Wimpy):

(CNSNews.com) – The U.N. General Assembly on Monday adopted a resolution condemning the stereotyping, negative profiling and stigmatization of people based on their religion, and urging countries to take effective steps “to address and combat such incidents.”
No member state called for a recorded vote on the text, which was as a result adopted “by consensus.”

The resolution, an initiative of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), is based on one passed by the U.N.’s Human Rights Council in Geneva last spring. The State Department last week hosted a meeting to discuss ways of “implementing” it.

Every year since 1999 the OIC has steered through the U.N.’s human rights apparatus a resolution condemning the “defamation of religion,” which for the bloc of 56 Muslim states covered incidents ranging from satirizing Mohammed in a newspaper cartoon to criticism of shari’a and post-9/11 security check profiling.

Critics regard the measure as an attempt to outlaw valid and critical scrutiny of Islamic teachings, as some OIC states do through controversial blasphemy laws at home.

Strongly opposed by mostly Western democracies, the divisive “defamation” resolution received a dwindling number of votes each year, with the margin of success falling from 57 votes in 2007 to 19 in 2009 and just 12 last year.

This year’s text was a departure, in that it dropped the “defamation” language and included a paragraph that reaffirms “the positive role that the exercise of the right to freedom of opinion and expression and the full respect for the freedom to seek, receive and impart information can play in strengthening democracy and combating religious intolerance.”

The nod to freedom of expression won the resolution the support of the U.S. and other democracies, with the Obama administration and others hailing it as a breakthrough after years of acrimonious debate.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton took the opportunity of the State Department-hosted talks with foreign governments, the OIC and other international bodies last week to stress the importance of freedom of speech in the U.S. She argued that “the best way to treat offensive speech is by people either ignoring it or combating it with good arguments and good speech that overwhelms it.”

Saudi initiative singled out for praise

Nonetheless, the resolution adopted in New York on Monday does contain elements that concern some free speech and religious freedom advocates.

It calls on states “to take effective measures to ensure that public functionaries in the conduct of their public duties do not discriminate against an individual on the basis of religion or belief.”

Governments also are expected to make “a strong effort to counter religious profiling, which is understood to be the invidious use of religion as a criterion in conducting questionings, searches and other law enforcement investigative procedures.”

“Effective measures” to counter cases of religious stereotyping and stigmatization include education, interfaith dialogue and “training of government officials.”

And in the worst cases, those of “incitement to imminent violence” based on religion, the resolution calls on countries to implement “measures to criminalize” such behavior,

All such things are in the eye of the beholder, meaning that the enforcement agency will decide what is offensive and what is incitement, and silence people accordingly.

IslamMuslim Clerics Warn Against Observing Valentine's Day by tidytim(op): 6:49pm On Feb 06, 2012
Ulema in Aceh have warned Muslims, the younger generation in particular, that observing Valentine’s Day is not allowed in Islam and against Sharia law that is in force in all of Aceh province.

“It is haram for Muslims to observe Valentine’s Day because it does not accord with Islamic Sharia” Tgk Feisal, general secretary of the Aceh Ulema Association (HUDA), said on Monday.

In Islam, he said, love should not be expressed or shown on a certain day only but every day. “Therefore, Islam’s younger generation should not participate in the celebration of a foreign festivity,” he said.

Faisal Ali who is also chairman of the Aceh branch of Nahdlatul Ulama called on Muslim parents, especially those in Aceh, to instruct and supervise their children in the matter.

“We must prevent the Muslim younger generation in Aceh from being poisoned by a culture that contradicts our Muslim values. Therefore, everybody, parents in particular, should give our youth the proper guidance,” he said.

He also called on the government to uphold and implement Islamic Sharia in “serious and sincere ways and not just out of political expediency or momentarily.”

“Islamic Sharia cannot prevail in Aceh as expected if it is not supported fully by the government and other parties in authority,” he said.

The government must also watch out for youths participating in Valentine’s Day activities in Aceh, he said.

Following are excerpts from an interview with Sheik Bassam Al-Kayed, head of the Palestinian Islamic Scholars Association in Lebanon, which aired on Al-Aqsa TV on February 1, 2012:

Bassam Al-Kayed: The Jew is a satan in human form. Allah inflicted the Jews upon humanity in its entirety, and especially upon the nation of Islam, including the early prophets and the Prophet Muhammad. The Jew is a satan in human form. We could almost say that the satanic jinn take lessons from them.

What they do is very peculiar. It transgresses all boundaries. They attribute no sanctity to anything that is scared, to any treaty or agreement. They violate all the international laws, all the human norms, and all the Islamic and man-made laws. They violate all values. They are deterred by nothing but force.

Christianity EtcIs Christ's Return Imminent? by tidytim(op): 1:51pm On Feb 01, 2012
A.The common denominator: No Christian can rightfully set a date for Christ's return for no one knows the exact hour or day of His return. (Matt. 24:36, 42, 44; 25:13).

B. The imminent return theory: Christ's return is possible this very minute.  It is always at hand, ready to happen at any moment.  There are no signs or prophecies that must precede Christ's coming for the church.  It will be an absolute surprise to the Christian for it will come "as a thief in the night." This means Christ's return will be sudden, without warning, a surprise, and a secret.

According to this theory, Christ's return was imminent for the apostles for they looked for Christ's return to happen suddenly and without warning.  It has always been imminent throughout the ages.

C.The historic and majority view:

1.    Christ's return for his church is preceded by signs and fulfilled prophecies which the observant Christian will see and thus prepare himself for the return of Christ.  Only the disobedient Christian will be caught off guard by the coming of Christ.  For the obedient Christian, Christ's return will not be as "a thief in the night". (Matt. 24:25; 1 Thess. 5:1-9, 11 Thess. 2:1-12).

2.   Because of the absence of the necessary signs in the sky and on the earth and the many prophecies which must yet be fulfilled which precede Christ's coming, His coming was not imminent from the time of the apostles up to the present day.

3. While we cannot know the exact hour or day of Christ's return, the presence or absence of the signs and fulfilled prophecy which precede and herald that coming do indicate, according to Scripture, if that coming is far or near. (Lk. 21:25-31; Matt. 24: 32-33).

© 1998 Encyclopedia of Practical Christianity, (Las Vegas: CSP, 2000)

4. Because there are signs and fulfilled prophecies which precede Christ's   return, we are told to watch for them. (Matt. 24:42; 25:1-13; Lk. 21:28).

5. The nearness or farness of Christ's return should not affect our continued preparation for His return.  All the signs and prophecy may come to pass in any generation of believers.
Illustration: A young couple prepares for their first baby even though  they know it is months away and that the birth is preceded by the signs of labor.

6. Once all the signs and fulfilled prophecies have come to pass, then
the return of Christ is truly imminent.

D. The teaching of Christ. (I Tim. 6:3, 4): Christ taught that certain signs and fulfilled prophecies would precede His return.  These signs and prophecies mean that His return is not to be viewed as secret, private, sudden, a surprise, or “as a thief in the night" so far as the observant Christian is concerned. (Lk.21-.25-28). The following things are to precede Christ's return according to His own teaching.  These things reveal that the apostles could not have possibly thought or taught that Christ's return was imminent.

1.    Before His ascension, Christ prophesied the coming of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost.  Because of this prophecy, Christ could not come until His words had been fulfilled on the day of Pentecost.  Thus from His ascension to Pentecost, Christ's return was not imminent. (Lk. 24:49).

2.    Before His ascension, Christ prophesied that Peter would grow old; he would then be captured and finally be martyred for his testimony for Him.  Because of this prophecy, Christ could not return as long as Peter was alive.  Peter had to grow old, be captured, and finally be martyred to fulfill the words of Christ.  All the Christians knew that as long as Peter was alive, Jesus could not come.  Peter died around A.D. 67.  Thus from the ascension to Peter's death (67 A.D.), Christ's return was not imminent. (John 21: 18-19; 1 Pet. 1:13-15).

3.    Having established that Christ's coming was not imminent until Peter's death (A.D. 67), none of Paul’s or Peter's Epistles can have any references to an imminent return of Christ because all of the epistles were written before A.D. 67 and both men knew the prophecies of Christ, and that His coming was not possible at that time.  The epistles of Paul and Peter make no reference to an imminent return of Christ.

4.    Before His ascension, Christ prophesied that His church would be planted in Jerusalem, then Judea, then Samaria, and then to “the ends of the earth.” This prophecy was not fulfilled by the early church and has yet to be fully fulfilled.  Until the church has been planted in every tribe, tongue and nation, Christ's coming is not imminent. (Acts 1:8; Matt. 28:19, 20; MK. 16:15; Lk. 24:7f; Rev. 7:9).

5.    Before His ascension, Christ prophesied the total destruction of Herod's temple by foreign armies.  The temple was not destroyed until A.D. 70.  Thus from His ascension to the destruction of Herod's temple (A.D. 70), Christ's return was not imminent.   (Matt. 24:1; Mk. 13:1; Lk. 21:5, 6).

6.    Before His ascension, Christ prophesied certain signs to precede His return.  These signs were not present in the early church and are not fully present right now.  They are still future.  Thus until all these signs are clearly and fully fulfilled, Christ's coming is not imminent. (Matt. 24-, Mk.13, Lk. 21).

7.    After His ascension, Christ prophesied that the apostle Paul would go to Rome and preach His gospel.  Until Paul got to Rome, Christ could not come.  Thus from His ascension to the time when Paul got to Rome (A.D. 61), Christ's return was not imminent. (Acts 23:11; 27:24).  None of Paul’s epistles written before he got to Rome could possibly teach that Christ's return was imminent.-

8.    After His ascension, Christ prophesied that the church at Smyrna would pass through a great persecution in the future.  He challenged them to suffer faithfully.  Until the Smyrna church had been through this trial, Christ could not come.  Thus from His ascension to the trial of the church at Smyrna, Christ's coming was not imminent. (Rev. 2:10).

9.  Christ in various parables connected His church and His coming with the end of the age.  Until all the Biblical Prophecies leading up to the end of the age, and the prophecies concerning the end of the age have been fulfilled, Christ cannot come.  Thus Christ's return cannot be imminent. (Matt. 13:24-30, 36-43, 47-50; 25:14-30)

E. The teaching of the apostles: In addition to Christ's prophecies which were to precede the second coming, the apostles added prophecies of their own which made an imminent return impossible.

1.    Peter stated that Christ could not return until the time for restoration of all things as predicted by the Old Testament prophets.  To Peter, Christ's coming could not be imminent because of his prophesied death and the prophecies of the Old Testament prophets. (Acts 3:21).

2.    Paul prophesied a coming apostasy in the Ephesian church.  Until this great apostasy in the Ephesian church had taken place, Christ could not come.  His return was not imminent. (Acts 20: 28-30).

3.    Paul plainly states in 11 Thess. 2 that Christ's coming was not imminent because the great apostasy and the coming of the Antichrist must take place first.  Christ's return is not imminent until these things are accomplished.

4.    The book of Revelation places the return of Christ in Chapter 19.  Until all the events leading up to this chapter are accomplished, Christ's return cannot be considered imminent.

5.    In Scripture, the coming of Christ is always connected with the end of the age (Matt. 24:28:20; 1 Cor. 1:8; 15:23, 24).  The following things must happen before the end of the age, thus before the return of Christ:

a.    Israel had to be destroyed as a nation, enslaved and scattered over all the earth.  A long time of persecution and distress would be upon the Jew. (Deut.28:63-68; Ezk. 37f).  Until they were gathered back to the land, Christ's return was not imminent.  Thus the early church knew that Christ's return was not imminent.  It has only been since 1948 that this prophecy has been fulfilled.

b.    The Roman Empire had to be destroyed.  This empire would break apart into many states.  The empire would be in this condition until the end of the age.  Until the fall and ruin of the Roman Empire had taken place, Christ could not come.  To the early church this was conclusive proof that Christ could not return in their day until the then present very powerful Roman Empire fell apart, went into ruin. (Dan. 2:40-43; 7:7-8, 23-25).

c.    When the last stages of this age begin, the world must be sufficiently one in religion, commerce, and government for the Antichrist to take complete control of the earth.  Until the
World is at this condition, Christ's return is not imminent.

d.   Another possible proof is gained from the widely held view that Rev. 2-3 gives prophetically the seven future spiritual  conditions of the church. Thus until the church had reached the Laodicean stage, Christ's return could not be imminent.

Conclusion.
The coming of Christ could not have been imminent for the early church because of the many prophecies that had to be fulfilled first.  The coming of Christ cannot be imminent today because the Scriptures definitely prophesy certain events to precede the coming of Christ.  These events are still future.

IslamQuran Inspiration by tidytim(op): 10:14pm On Jan 31, 2012
Since there were never any witnesses to Allah or Gabriel's voices when they gave Mohammed one of his revelations, and thus no shortage of doubters in his day, Mohammed attempted a little damage control:

Sura 9.127 Whenever there cometh down a Sura, they look at each other, (saying), "Doth anyone see you?" Then they turn aside: Allah hath turned their hearts (from the light); for they are a people that understand not.

Even today some of Mohammed's adherents look upon his illiteracy as a "miracle", in spite of the availability of information in regard to the people that surrounded him. He was certainly a far cry from the quite literate prophets and apostles that were inspired to write the Old and New Testaments of the Word of God.

But the fact that Mohammed was illiterate certainly didn't mean he was blind and deaf. He traveled a lot with his uncle as a child, and in his first wife's business, so there was no lack of exposure to others. Later on he was surrounded by many that knew about Judaism and Christianity.

"From a number of Islamic books we gather that Mohammed was surrounded by many Christians - even if nominal. One of them was Waraqa ibn Naufal, the cousin of Khadija, Mohammed's wife. One of his wives, Umm Habbibah, was formerly the wife of a Christian, Ubaidu'llah ibn Jahsh. Another wife of Mohammed, Miriam, and her sister, Sirin, were Christian slaves given to Muhammad. Biographer Ibn Ishaq records that Abdu'llah ibn Salam (one of the bestt reciters of the Qur'an) was a seasoned Jewish Rabbi before he became a Muslim and personal friend of Muhammad." (Anatomy of the Quran by G.J.O. Moshay)

But perhaps the most valuable source of Mohammed's pseudo-Christian suras and refurbished Jewish and Arabic tales was a friend of his named Jabr. An ex"christian" convert to Islam. Indeed so often did Mohammed have a "revelation" after meeting with his friend Jabr that the local nickname for Jabr became "holy spirit". So pervasive was this view that Mohammed felt compelled to make another attempt at damage control with yet another sura.

The Jabr Connection

Sura 16.103 We know indeed that they say, "It is a man that teaches him." The tongue of him they wickedly point to is notably foreign, while this is Arabic, pure and clear.

Again quoting Moshay:

The "man that teaches him" is a young "Christian" friend of Muhammad called Jabr, whom Muhammad always visited at Marwah Quraters, not too far from his house. The allegation was that when Muhammad visited Jabr and heard the stories of the Bible, some were put on record. People believed that Muhammad usually presented these parchments and claimed he had received them hot from heaven through the angel Gabriel.

Muhammad refuted this strong allegation through another "revelation" from "Gabriel." The defense was that since Jabr was of "a foreign tongue" (he was not an Arab by birth), he could not have taught Muhammad anything. But it does not matter if Jabr was a non-Arab. Since he had stayed long in Arabia, he could have known Arabic very well and related his stories to Muhammad in good Arabic. How could Jabr be a close friend of Muhammad (if he did not understand Arabic) since Muhammad did not understand any other language? We must realize too that Muhammad's main Secretary was a Jew. According to Muslim writer Muhammad Haykall, Muhammad,

', had chosen him (the Secretary) for his capacity to write letters in Hebrew and Syriac as well as Arabic. After the evacuation of Jews from Madinah, the Prophet no longer trusted a non-muslim to write his letters.'

That means, too, that the Christian background of Jabr could not be a plausible reason why he couldn't have helped Muhammad in his collection of what is now called the Qur'an. If Muhammad's own Secretary was of "a foreign tongue" and yet well versed in Arabic, Syriac and his own Hebrew language, then it is not inconceivable to get Hebrew scriptures and literature interpreted and translated into Arabic by the Secretary. Since the Secretary was such a brilliant fellow and was versatile in these three languages, therefore, the alleged brilliance of the language of the Qur'an is not a necessary and sufficient proof of heavenly authorship. Rather, it can be a reflection of the brilliance of Jabr, since Muhammad is believed to have been illiterate." (Anatomy of the Quran by G.J.O. Moshay)

Regarding Mohammed's claim of "pure Arabic" there are over 100 non-Arabic words in Persian, Syriac, Hebrew, old Egyptian, Assyrian and Greek. So even Mohammed's claimed "proof" in the above sura is untrue. Even the word for "Gospel", Injil, is a Syriac word.

Mohammed's own textual criticism of his "inspired" verbal record:

Bukhari:V6B61N550 "The Prophet said, 'It is a bad thing that some of you say,? "I have forgotten such-and-such verse of the Qur'an." For truly, I have been caused by Allah to forget it. So you must keep on reciting the Qur'an because it escapes faster than a runaway camel.'"

From one of many websites they quote:

"Ibn Ishaq also provides some detail. (in page180)

"According to my information the apostle used often to sit at al-Marwa at the booth of a young Christian called Jabr (2), a slave of B. al-Hadrami and they used to say "The one who teaches Muhammad most of what he brings is Jabr the Christian, slave of the B. al-Hadrami." Then God revealed in reference to their words "We well know that they say, "Only a mortal teaches him"."

Surah 25:5 And they say: "Tales of the ancients, which he has caused to be written: and they are dictated before him morning and evening." "

Search Sura 16 103 "jabr"

On Plagiarism

"The influences noted above are not just in hearing stories and having them jotted down as revelations. There are hints of outright plagiarism identified by scholars. But, interestingly, we have a serious challenge concerning the sacredness and originality of the Qur'an:

'And if you are in doubt as to which We (Allah) have revealed to Our servant (Muhammad), then produce a chapter like it, and call on your helper, besides Allah, if you are truthful.'

Most Arabs were illiterate at that time. Moreover, many of the original works from which Arabs could have discovered the sources of the Qur'an material were in foreign languages. Informed scholars now laugh at such a challenge since clear evidence now exists to establish outright plagiarism in the Qura'an. We will now cite a few of these.

It has been established that verses 1, 29, 31 and 46 of Sura 54 (Surat al-Qamar) were lifted from a poem of a pre-Islamic Arabic poet, Imraul Qais. Even at the time of Muhammad, some sneered at the challenge to 'produce a chapter like it.' For example the poet Imraul Qais' daughter was still alive when Muhammad started his religion. One day this lady was listening to Muhammad reciting the 'revelations' he had just received hot from heaven from his Angel Jubril. She recognized the verses from her father's poems, and stood aghast and amused, wondering how these could be a revelation written by Alland and preserved in the 'Preserved Tablet' in heaven from before the creation of the world!

Another time, this lady met Fatima, Muhammad's daughter, reciting the first verse of Surat Qamar. Qais' daughter said:

'Oh that is what your father has taken from my father's poems ('Mollaqat') and calls it something that has come down to him from heaven!'

If the original works of a secular Arab poet could be seen in the Qur'an, then it is scarcely of any use to maintain the claim that the Qur'an is so wonderful that the most learned Arab or even a spirit could not produce it's kind." (Anatomy of the Quran by G.J.O. Moshay)

Sura 19:28 "O sister of Aaron! Thy father was not a man of evil, nor thy mother a woman unchaste!" 29 But she pointed to the babe. They said: "How can we talk to one who is a child in the cradle?" 30 He said: "I am indeed a servant of Allah: He hath given me revelation and made me a prophet;

Jesus speaking as an infant was lifted from an Arabic apocryphal fable written in Egypt titled "First Gospel of the Infancy of Jesus Christ":
", Jesus spake even when he was in the cradle, and said: 'Mary, I am Jesus the son of God. That word which thou didst bring forth according to the declaration of the angel, "

Portions of the preceding from "Anatomy of the Quran" by G.J.O. Moshay. We would suggest that any Muslim that dares to read Moshay's book will leave Islam.

Mohammed discouraged questions:

Surah 5:101 O ye who believe! Ask not questions about things which, if made plain to you, may cause you trouble.

So Muslims are instructed to avoid asking questions, highlighting Islam's 1400 year fear of truth. Even today when adherents ask questions of their imams they may find themselves put on a list of budding "apostates". The same reason that Mohammed had probing poets killed and prevented Muslims from making friends of non-Muslims. The same reason bibles are banned in Islamic countries.
The one true God is very much different than that:

1Thessalonians 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

The reason Mohammed discouraged questions is made clear in the very next verse:

102 Some people before you did ask such questions, and on that account lost their faith.

But those that "loose their faith" in Mohammed can gain faith in the one true God - the God of love - that His people have followed for 3500 years, through two covenants, detailed in His 1600 year record. Have you ever read any of it? Why not read just a little? The Gospel of John

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God [is] quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and [is] a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

"Allah has hated for you three things: , 3. And asking too many questions (in disputed religious matters)." (Dr. Khan, Sahih Al-Bukhari, Vol. 2, #555)

That's why "apostates" are killed. So they can't bring the truth of the Word of God to others. Exit penalties are a hallmark of dangerous cults.

Surah 4:89 They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they): But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (From what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks;-

There was no shortage of doubters regarding Mohammed's "revelations" being divinely inspired. Besides the Christians and Jews, other Arabs had trouble, likely in part because even Mohammed admitted to reversing himself so often.

A whopping 71 out of only 114 suras are subject to abrogation:

Quran 2:106 None of Our revelations do We abrogate or cause to be forgotten, but We substitute something better or similar: Knowest thou not that Allah Hath power over all things?

A slightly more candid translation:

2:106 (Asad) Any message which, We annul or consign to oblivion We replace with a better or a similar one. Dost thou not know that God has the power to will anything?

It would seem that Mohammed even knew how all his change-ups would be perceived:

Surah 16:101 When We substitute one revelation for another, and Allah knows best what He reveals (in stages), they say, "Thou art but a forger": but most of them understand not.

The brief 23 year record of Mohammed's recitations requiring so much abrogation indicates not divine inspiration but rather the changing whims of its self-serving author. Like the special sura that allowed Mohammed to take his step-son's wife, or the one that allowed him all the wives he wanted, but only for him.

According to Aisha, while they were making preparations to bury Mohammed, goats ate part of the Quran that she kept under her bed. This portion is said to have included the stoning verses.
Is anyone to imagine that this is the way God would preserve His Word? Compare that to the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls in the late 1940's, some of which are positively dated to at least 350 BC.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Christians hold the truth ! You perpetuate lies to interpose Muhammad in the Christian bible where he does not exist, you plagiarise aspects of our scripture together with other gnostic gospels and poems, you deny your hadiths when it suits you, you twist words in your Quran when embarassing verses appear and yet you call Christians liars. undecided

Who is the Liar according to the bible , but he that denies that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

When it suits them they will quote 'scholarly' works that claim that Muhammed (SAW) never wrote the Koran that i was formulated 100 years after his death and later attributed to him. Then on another hand they will quote another blind 'scholar' that he did indeed write  it but some of it is lost or altered like this lousy OP is doing.

How did almight God the Fathe refer to Christ Jesus his SON

"For to which of the angels did God ever say,
You are my Son,today I have begotten you”?
Or again,“I will be to him a father, and he shall be to me a son”?
And again, when he brings the firstborn into the world, he says,
“Let all God's angels worship him.
”Of the angels he says,
“He makes his angels winds, and his ministers a flame of fire.”
But of the Son he says,“Your throne, O God, is forever and ever,
the scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your kingdom.

You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness;
therefore God, your God, has anointed youwith the oil
        of gladness beyond your companions.”
And,
You, Lord, laid the foundation of the earth in the beginning,
and the heavens are the work of your hands;

they will perish, but you remain;they will all wear out like a garment,
like a robe you will roll them up,like a garment they will be changed.
But you are the same, and your years will have no end.”
And to which of the angels has he ever said,
“Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet”?

Sir, Baptizing them in the name of the father, and of the Son and of the Holy spirit does not in ANY way signifies TRINITY. I would need where Jesus preaches TRINITY please or says God, So and Holy Spirit are one.
Lol. Let me help FROSBEL here   grin grin

But these were the very words of Jesus , making a distinction between , the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

What do you mean by preaching it   undecided

This is not Jesus talking but hearsay addressed to the corinthians. Kindly supply where Jesus preached same.
You Muslims love to twist logic  grin

This was not hearsay but a blessing from brother Paul to the church at Corinth , clearly depicting that the earliest church also held this concept.

This is also not Jesus' preaching but third party.
The SON

John 1:49-50, "Nathanael answered Him, "Rabbi, You are the Son of God; You are the King of Israel." 50 Jesus answered and said to him, "Because I said to you that I saw you under the fig tree, do you believe? You shall see greater things than these."

Nathaniel calls Jesus the son of God and Jesus does not correct him.  Jesus affirms Nathaniel's belief.

John 10:36-37, "do you say of Him, whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, "You are blaspheming," because I said, 'I am the Son of God?' 37 "If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me."

Jesus is affirming that he is the son of God.

John 11:4, "But when Jesus heard it, He said, "This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified by it."

Jesus calls himself the Son of God.

John 19:7, "The Jews answered him, "We have a law, and by that law He ought to die because He made Himself out to be the Son of God."

The Jews understood that to claim to be the son of God was to claimed to be equal with God -  "For this cause therefore the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him, because He not only was breaking the Sabbath, but also was calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God," (John 5:18, NASB)

John 20:31, "but these have been written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name."

THE FATHER Father

John 20:17 (ESV) -  "Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’ ”

Jn.10:30: " I and my father are one"

Matthew 11:27 - "All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him

HOLY SPIRIT

"But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you".- John 14:26

"Then Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan River. He was led by the Spirit in the wilderness "- Luke 4:1

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." - Acts 1:8

How did almighty God the Father  refer to Christ Jesus his SON

"For to which of the angels did God ever say,
You are my Son,today I have begotten you”?
Or again,“I will be to him a father, and he shall be to me a son”?

babs787:
@Frosbel

Could you please supply me here the part that is plagiarised?
The following 2 plagiarised stories , courtesy of James M. Arlandson

1. Jesus turns a clay bird into a real one in Suras 3:49 and 5:110.

As proof of Jesus’ miraculous start, Muhammad says that Jesus will make a clay bird fly.

The Quran says in Sura 3:49 that Jesus predicts that he will turn a clay bird into a real one:

3:49 [Then Jesus says to the children of Israel:] "I will make a bird for you out of clay, then breathe into it and, with God’s permission, it will become a real bird" . . . (Haleem)

The Quran says in Sura 5:110 that Jesus has done the trick:

. . . By My leave, you [Jesus] fashioned the shape of a bird out of clay, breathed into it, and it became, by My leave, a bird . . . (Haleem)

Where does Muhammad get the fiction about Jesus turning a clay bird into a living one? The ultimate source is found in the Infancy Gospel of Thomas.

The apocryphal gospel says:

[Jesus] made soft clay and modeled twelve sparrows from it . . . 4. Jesus clapped his hands and cried to the sparrows, "Be gone." And the sparrows flew off chirping. (The New Testament Apocrypha, vol. 1, p. 444)

2 . Mary receives two pseudo-miracles in Sura 19:23-26.

Sura 19 is named after Mary. According to Sura 19:16-26, Mary traveled to the east and secluded herself. An angel came and promised her a son. She conceived miraculously, and during the pains of childbirth she cries out.

The Quran says:

19:23 . . . [A]nd, when the pain of childbirth drove her to cling to the trunk of the palm tree, she exclaimed, "I wish I had been long dead and forgotten before all this!" 24 but a voice cried to her from below, "Do not worry: your Lord has provided a stream at your feet 25 and, if you shake the trunk of the palm tree towards you, it will deliver fresh ripe dates for you, 26 so eat, drink, be glad . . . (Haleem)

This story of miraculous deliverance through a palm tree and a stream of water comes from the Gospel of Pseudo-Matthew, or more accurately, The Book About the Origin of the Blessed Mary and the Childhood of the Savior.

Muhammad alters a passage in this pseudo-gospel, or he heard an altered version of it (or both). He connects the miracle of the palm and the stream to Mary giving birth to Jesus, but the non-canonical gospel says that the baby Jesus worked the miracle. Joseph and Mary are concerned about food and water as they travel to Egypt. The infant Jesus overhears their conversation and solves their problem.

The apocryphal gospel says:

Then the child Jesus, who was sitting with a happy countenance in his mother’s lap, said to the palm: "Bend down your branches, O tree, and refresh my mother with your fruit." And immediately at this command [voice] the palm bent down to the feet of the blessed Mary, and they gathered from its fruit and they all refreshed themselves . . . [Addressing the palm, Jesus says:] "And open beneath your roots a vein of water . . . and let the waters flow" . . . And when they saw the fountain of water, they greatly rejoiced and quenched their thirst . . . (The New Testament Apocrypha, vol. 1, p. 463)

Though the details differ, the broad outline of the pseudo-gospel and the Quran match up well. First, both the Quran and the pseudo-gospel share the same context: a nativity and infancy narrative—the beginning of the Messiah’s life. Second, the Quran has Mary traveling; in the pseudo-gospel Mary (and Joseph and Jesus) also travel. This travel for a teenage girl, all alone, is highly unlikely in this culture, so the Quran is creating a fiction not found in the fictional gospel. Third, the Quran says that Mary heard a voice or command; the pseudo-gospel adds that the voice or command belonged to baby Jesus. Fourth, the apocryphal gospel says that a palm tree provided food from above, and a stream of water provided refreshment from below; the Quran says the same. Finally, both books recount this fiction as a miracle, when Mary (and Joseph) needed it most. Clearly, Muhammad did not learn this fiction from a manuscript in front of him. He was not a scholar, after all. But some borrowing is undeniable—for objective readers and seekers.

Muhammad is losing his epistemological challenge that we should believe his revelations no matter what, and whether he was there on the scene or not. The evidence suggests that he did not get his information from Allah, but from human sources.

If Muhammad is so far off about the infancy of Jesus, should we, as reasonable persons whose minds have not been clouded by a lifetime of devotion to Islam, listen to Muhammad’s denial of the Sonship of Jesus?

For more information on this fictional source in the Quran, go to this chapter written by highly qualified Islamologist William St. Clair-Tisdall of an earlier generation, who knew Islam and Arabic thoroughly. He provides details that demonstrate that the ultimate source of this Quranic fiction is Buddhist (scroll down to "Story of the Virgin Mary"wink. By the seventh century, Buddhism had impacted Persia and other points farther west.

Finally, according to the Quran, Mary returned to her people, who saw that she was carrying a child in her arms. They were shocked and asked what she had done, calling her the sister of Aaron, another Quranic confusion, since Aaron lived about 1,400 years before Mary. But why does this matter?

Revelation trumps clear and simple facts in the mind of traditional, Quran-believing Muslims.
Christianity EtcNorway: Two Iranian Christian Converts Attacked , Stabbed And Called 'kuffar' by tidytim(op): 5:40pm On Jan 30, 2012
Two Iranians who converted from Islam to Christianity were stabbed by masked me in Haugesund last week. The attacker shouted 'Kuffar' (Arabic for non-believer) during the attack.

The attack happened Tuesday evening, when both Christian Iranians were out walking in Haugesund. They were suddenly attacked by three masked men armed with knives, who shouted 'kuffar' while they stabbed the two.

A nurse passing by gave first aid and then an ambulance brought them to hospital, reports Haugesunds Avis.

According to the police, one of the victims was stabbed twice in the back and the other was stabbed in his side. No perpetrators have been caught.

The two victims want to remain anonymous and have not spoken of the assault. They've lived in Norway for many years. One of them converted in Norway, the other did so in Iran and managed to flee to Norway after he was abused and imprisoned for his faith.

They're both active in a local evangelical church.

'They've very active in the community, and have also bore witness to their faith during meetings,' says their pastor, who also wants to remain anonymous, since he often travels to Muslim countries where Christians are persecuted.

He's certain that the attack was religiously motivated. "I'm totally sure of it. Since the attackers shouted 'kuffar' during the attack, I have no doubt about it."

He says he didn't expect such things to happen in Haugesund. "It's very dramatic and surprising. I didn't take that into account. I hadn't heard of threats against any coverts in the area."

Christianity EtcRe: Violence In The Bible , Is It Really The Same by tidytim(op): 3:18pm On Jan 30, 2012
Question:
Does Islam command that those who insult the religion should be put to death?

Summary Answer:
Under Sharia, those who insult Muhammad or Allah are to be put to death. So are those who desecrate the Qur'an, or commit other acts of blasphemy. This tradition began with Muhammad, as recorded in the Hadith and by his biographers. There is also a Qur'anic basis for it.

The Qur'an:

Qur'an (6:93) - "Who can be more wicked than one who inventeth a lie against Allah?" (Apparently not the adulterer or others for whom death is proscribed).

Qur'an (33:57) - "Lo! those who malign Allah and His messenger, Allah hath cursed them in this world and the Hereafter, and hath prepared for them the doom of the disdained"

Qur'an (33:61) - [continues from above] "Accursed, they will be seized wherever found and slain with a (fierce) slaughter."

From the Hadith:

Bukhari (59:369) - This recounts the murder of Ka'b bin al-Ashraf, a Jewish poet who wrote verses about Muslims that Muhammad found insulting. He asked his followers, 'Who will rid me of this man?' and several volunteered. al-Ashraf was stabbed to death while fighting for his life.

Bukhari (3:106) - "The Prophet said, "Do not tell a lie against me for whoever tells a lie against me (intentionally) then he will surely enter the Hell-fire."

Bukhari (4:241) - Those who mocked Muhammad at Mecca were killed after he had retaken the city and asserted his authority.

Additional Notes:

Muslims in the West who do not want it known that their religion proscribes death for detractors often quote Qur'an (3:186), which was an earlier verse following a defeat in battle - when Muhammad's forces were relatively weak. Though encouraging Muslims to endure insults at the time, the text goes on to say that if Muslims are patient, then a "grievous penalty" will befall those who mock them. Indeed, those to whom this verse specifically referred, were put to death by Muhammad just a few short years later.

Perhaps the best evidence that Muhammad punished critics with death are the number of people who were murdered for this very reason shortly after he attained the power to do so. His biographers list numerous citizens who were murdered merely for mockery or criticism, particularly poets - the media artists of the time. One was a mother of five, who had her child pulled from her breast before she was run through with a sword. See Muhammad's Dead Poets Society for more information.

When author Salman Rushdie published "The Satanic Verses," a 1988 novel deemed offensive to Muhammad, the Ayatollah Khomeini pronounced a death sentence that was supported by a majority of Muslims.

In 2006, when a Danish newspaper published cartoons of Muhammad, an Imam (and immigrant to Denmark), traveled back to the Middle East and whipped up hatred that resulted in deadly rioting on three continents. Demonstrators in London held signs reading "Massacre Those Who Insult Islam."

A more in-depth discussion of this subject can be found in other places, including this article from Answering-Islam and Insulting Muhammad from American Thinker.

as for the topic itself, the Quran is best understood in arabic especially when the missionaries want to use their bible tricks and gymnastics to apply to the Quran.

for example, they translate the word "makr" to mean "deceive" instead of "plan".they interprete a verse "exchange wives" instead of "replace wives".you can see more examples here and how i exposed the trick:

But if ALLAH is all knowing and wants the entire mankind to convert to ISLAM, why must we learn about him only in ARABIC huh Is ALLAH a racist embarassed

David Wood said:

According to many Muslims, the Bible is full of prophecies about Muhammad.[1] Christian apologists have spent a great deal of time refuting this claim, but, as the following account will demonstrate, the Bible does contain clear prophecies about Muhammad. Nevertheless, the Muslim search for prophecies supporting Islam has been sloppy; as a result, defenders of Islam have failed to provide a single well-evidenced example of a Biblical prediction about their prophet. Thus, after briefly examining the Qur'anic claim to Biblical support, I will show (1) that the standard Biblical verses used by Muslims to support this claim are extremely problematic for Islam, and (2) that Christian apologists are wrong when they claim that the Bible is silent when it comes to Islam.

in islamic law.women, children and the elderly and non-combatant who pose no threat or danger are to be spared.but in the bible we see that the bible god only hold the lives of virgin girls as sacred.all else are to be killed including womena and children.
The Myth:

Muhammad Never Killed Children

The Truth:

It is probably fair to say that Muhammad did not approve of the intentional killing of children.  A verse from the Qur’an laments the pre-Islamic Arab practice of infanticide against baby girls.  Other evidence from the Hadith suggests that he instructed his men not to kill children in battle, if it could be avoided, but to capture them for slavery.

Children were often given a specific reprieve from the mandate to "kill those who disbelieve in Allah":

[Muhammad said] “Fight everyone in the way of Allah and kill those who disbelieve in Allah.  Do not be deceitful with the spoils; do not be treacherous, nor mutilate nor kill children.” (Ibn Ishaq/Hisham 992)

But Muhammad’s definition of a child was not the same as our modern understanding.  Following the surrender of the Qurayza stronghold, he ordered the execution of every male child who had reached puberty.  His men had the boys drop their pants so that they could chop the head off of anyone with pubic hair (Sahih Muslim 4390).

Keep in mind that many Muslims often insist that Aisha reached puberty at age nine, since that is the age that Muhammad began Being Intimate with her.  If so, then the age for “manhood” among boys might have been considered around twelve.

Muhammad also played a bit loose with the lives of women and children during wartime.  As recorded in both Bukhari and Sahih Muslim:

It is reported on the authority of Sa'b b. Jaththama that the Prophet of Allah (may peace be upon him), when asked about the women and children of the polytheists being killed during the night raid, said: “They are from them.” (Sahih Muslim 4322, see also Bukhari 52:256)

This does not justify the targeted killing of women and children per se, but it does prove that collateral damage is entirely acceptable if it accomplishes the military goal of spreading Islamic rule.  It is doubtful that Muhammad would ever shrug off the killing of young Muslims as he did the killing of non-Muslim children.

Muhammad did, in fact, draw a distinction between Muslim and non-Muslim children and said that it would be permissible to kill a child who has no prospect of accepting Islam:

The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) used not to kill the children, so thou shouldst not kill them unless you could know what Khadir had known about the child he killed, or you could distinguish between a child who would grow up to he a believer (and a child who would grow up to be a non-believer), so that you killed the (prospective) non-believer and left the (prospective) believer aside. (Sahih Muslim 4457)

After capturing Mecca, the prophet of Islam also ordered the execution of two “singing girls” who had mocked him in verse:

“…two singing-girls Fartana and her friend who used to sing satirical songs about the apostle, so he ordered that they should be killed…” (Ibn Ishaq/Hisham 819)
