Now the thing about football is that it is a team sport played with your head using your leg as tools,mistimed,miscalculated,error will always happen but how do i defend against this even if it happens is what makes a player and team. When any of our defenders mistimed any tackle, there is always Thiago Silva who covers for that mistake because he is a ble to always read the direction of the second ball,that is why for every mistimed tackles of Rudiger, Koulibaly we don't get exposed. But when Silva leaves his position to mark the way Raumdeuter always advice,we do not have the defenders with that experience to cover the direction of the second ball should incase Silva miss his marker.

There is a reason why I always hail Thiago Silva every now and then,just watch our defence line in Lampard first season with us,it was goals that an experienced defense line would have prevented.

If Rudiger is the first tackler who mistimed/miscalculated, he is to be blamed. If it's Ramos, the same thing. If it's Silva, still the same thing.

What you saw yesterday is what he keeps doing. Makes mistake and expose the defense for another person to clean up, then when the persons fails to do that, the blame will be on the person.

Did same to Rudiger, but Rudiger was always there to clean up. We saw it many times here.

Did same to Kouli, I was hammering it here.

Now he did same to Cucurella yesterday, there’s always that person who the world will blame for Silva’s foolishness.

All he does is stress his fellow defenders and set them up for drags.

Silva is the best CB we have right now. Only Chalobah, in his most recent form, is close to him.

His mistakes recently is almost costly that's why it looks like he lost so much form. Watch him a full 90mins. He is almost perfect, aside the isolated mistakes which doesn't even happen twice in a match.

And when discussing Silva, always put his age into consideration.

That goal was on Silva. See the way he deleted himself and left Cucurella with 2 attackers.

Silva is our best defender no doubt. But that shouldn't make one sound ridiculous in the name of defending him.

However, the scenario you painted makes absolutely zero sense. How can you make an excuse for a first tackler who mistimed his challenge and went ahead to blame a second marker who is trying to mop up the mistake of the first tackler? Who exposed the defence?
