FBS: Kai indeed is blunt so far. So is the rest of the crew.
2nd half will be different. I really hope so. We need this win. AC Milan have somewhat levelled the group for us. We win this and it's 4points, 3points, 3points, 1point. |

BlueAngel444: I heard that's how Potter sets up with only one CB at the back
We ain't really playing well against a pressing the like Salzburg, I expected more long balls to break there press and not the tactic of short passes to push them back into their box. All they are waiting for is that one interception Silva isn't that pacy to withstand a counter attack. |

FBS: True true. Cucurella has played OK. Let's see how the 2nd half unfolds.
Only positive I see is we move the ball forward quicker though attack is still nonsense. Can't someone get these boys firing? I'm not too comfortable with the way all the players attack leaving only Silva behind. A wicked counter attacking team will punish us with this set up. And our attack have been sooo blunt. Kai! |

Ibime: All na experiment. We saw Tuchel own and it wasn't pleasant. So far in this game, Sterling has not lost any attacking output, infact he's got more attacking moments than the rest. Whether it would be the same when we play a big team, who knows. But for now, I haven't seen any dulling. I'm not criticising the experiment. I'm just saying, what is good for the goose should be good for the gander. One of the reason for #Tuchelout activists is him playing players out of position. Potter just did it and everywhere is quiet like a cemetery. |

Ibime: Nothing we haven't seen before with Trossard. It's not like Sterling is not getting in promising attacking positions The question is, is Sterling a LWB? So because Potter did it with Trossard, he can do it with Sterling but Tuchel can't do something similar with, let's say, Pulisic? |

Ibime: What are you showing here. That Jogginghoe has completed 11 passes? At least understand data before using it.
Whether you think Kepa pass was funny or not, it highlights an incurable weakness in Jogginghoe game of being bullied under the slightest press. Tell me Kovacic or James would fall down under that small touch on their back. On another day you won't have Kepa pass to blame. That pass was way too heavy from Kepa. Jorginho anticipated the contact and the best thing to do there was to draw the foul. If he claim hard man and lose the ball, na una go still roast am here. |

Salarys: Sometimes I think we go into games with bias already looking for faults here and there, without actually watching the game.
That was clearly kepa's fault and jorginho was unlucky to be the one receiving that pass.
But yea, anything to slander the "Jogginhoe". Jorginho was really blamed for that?! Agenda must agend |

Make una commot with Una nonsense again. All those managers still end up dropping him and somehow get sacked just before replacing him. Tuchel somehow got sacked just after failing to.sign Edson Alvarez. Jogginghoe and Henrique Hilario have the same dibia. Zakaria not fit to start? So you want to tell me all these coaches doesn't know their predecessors were sacked largely because of Jorginho? |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by timbros(m): 7:11pm On Sep 14, 2022 |
Jorginho must belong to this Italian Mafia that kidnaps a member of the coach's family, threatening to kill if Jorginho is not in the starting XI.
I cannot understand why Pep, Sarri, Lampard, Tuchel and now Potter cannot see what Nairaland analysts clearly see about Jorginho. All Chelsea coaches start him. Even Sarri snatched him from Pep.
There must be a non footballing reason why Jorginho keeps starting. |

And that fofana guy looks like over the bar It was Rosenborg in Stamford Bridge. A 1-1 draw. And prior to that, we drew the last EPL match too. I think it's Blackburn or so. Our form the beginning of that season was very poor. Just like this season. |

Graham Potter doesn't have the CV to coach a big club like Chelsea. Donstan18 will still be here to tell us he was a nobody before Chelsea. Na we go still hash tag #PotterOut after one season.
Pochettino is a serial bottler. Tuchel played couple of finals and lost. We may not even see the finals under Poch. IMHO he reached his ceiling in Spurs.
Flick won covid UCL (single legged knock outs). Coached in a one team league. Na 50 50 appointment be that. May work, may flop.
Boehly should try to convince Zidane to come. I can't think of another tier 1 coach right now that is available. |

Transfer window just closed last week! He has just played 2 matches after the 200m spent. And don't forget that youth players are part of that 200m you are mentioning. My point? He was not sacked because he spent 200m and failed. |

Greatihex: Yet another stupid decision from club management after Sterling signing. Yeye management. As in! How can you, from wanting to negotiate contract extension barely two weeks ago, to sacking a coach just a week after transfer window close? Something must have happened just before, during or after the Dinamo Zagreb match. This looks like a on-the-spot decision. |

Wow! Just wow.
I clearly remember how Mourinho left Chelsea in 2007. Similar circumstances. I clearly remember that 1-1 draw away to Rosenborg in opening game of that season's UCL. That match too pain me. By morning, the announcement was made...
Same thing happen again. UCL match day 1. No win away to a "small team". Sack in the morning.
Well we move...
Wetin surprise me pass is sacking a coach after him point and kill £250m+ worth of players. So if a new coach come and decide Fofana, Cucurella etc are not his type of players nko, so another set of deadwood to dispose? We still have loan players all over. Na wao... |
