The crowd was crazy kinda... In short, it was not organised.. GSK were giving out ribena that'll expire next month grin grin

Just six companies showed up out of a hundred that they claimed would come and you still call that authentic?
For a fair that applicants were charged 3000naira for? How many of the people that showed up can these six companies even hire after the monetary commitment? And can you even vouch for the true identity and commitment of the so-called companies that came?
For me, this just isn't about organisation, it about fairness, respect for other people's feelings and doing what is right.
In fact, let the fair be disorganized but give jobs to people.

The one I find most annoying is that my bill increases as the situation worsens.
Fashion / Re: Why Have Our Ladies Forsaken Natural Braids? by TimePiece(f): 3:56pm On Mar 17, 2013
Some have forsaken it, like you put it, because the wearing of braids tends to mess up their hairline which makes it more convenient to wear weave-on to cover tht up.
Thank you.

freecocoa: Na you say make I talk o.cheesy

I just don't get how one can get wet when angry, I for one know I won't as much as allow myself go when I'm really angry and if one isn't properly lubricated isn't it going to be painful? Penetration is bound to be hard na and that one no go be like r*pe? I mean doing wetin you no wan do just because you have to do it undecided.

@Ifyalways, you are joking abi? so even if he was just with another woman, you'd give it to him and resume the quarrel? Nne nke a karikwara mu.

I totally agree with you on the anger effect but believe me, if you can free your mind a bit, you won't believe yourself what you'll be busy doing in the next 30mins as long as he knows what buttons to tap to leave those sensations running through you. When this happens, your feminine part has no choice but to respond.

Of course, cheating is not inclusive here. No emotionally stable person will give in to a cheating spouse. I'd prefer that cheating is left out in this talk.

ifyalways:
Solutions:
1.Give am b00by to deal with. You dont have to do anything than lie down and enjoy the feelings.
2.Use that anger positively.Mount that Jericho and ride it with all your soul and body.It cures anger.
3.cuddle up.the warmth and heat from both bodies would make you feel like it or doze off happily.

cheesy
These solutions can't be any truer.
Especially if your man is the type who knows how to "work" your body. Ouch!

Thanx Ifyalways.
This is worth a goldmine.

You should have asked her if she ate raw onion.
And at same time, wearing a nice smile on your face to make it less embarassing for her. Then, come in with a made-up story about how someone warned you against eating raw onion because he percieved that in your breath. That way, she feels normal and interested in working on it. It doesn't matter whether she ate onion or not; cos at subsequent dates, she'll watch her breath.
Consequently, you would have broken that shyness of talking about bad breath with her, and also, she would have come to the knowledge that she needs to check her breath always.

My wedding is in the third quarter of this year and I haven't even decided on a wedding dress.
I like to keep things simple and inexpensive, and so I'm thinking that hiring a dress would just be it.
But then, I saw this dress while surfing the net; and I was like, "OMG!"
I love this dress people!!!
But i'll "touch" the top a 'lil, it's a bit too revealing for me.

nenergy: A friend emailed Jobberman asking if she should pay or not. And this is Jobberman's reply.

Hello ,

According to the organizers, the fair is a high profile employment
exhibition event with restricted attendance. The charge for attendance is
for screening of CVs, Fair materials and also to control attendance.

At Jobberman, though we do not encourage people to pay for job offers, we
understand the challenges that organizing a high profile event entails,
hence our support for a few reputable fairs of such nature.

Also in a bid to create more opportunities for Employer/Job seeker
interactions, we support and endorse many career fairs that are free and
targeted at a larger audience. Details of upcoming free career fairs would
be communicated to you in the coming weeks.

It would be nice for the mods to put this thread on the frontpage as soon as possible to either save people from getting schemed or to throw more light on it.

This is what I wrote in another thread opened by folasflo today:

How come there are no massive adverts on the Radio and TV like you claimed on you site? And the only social media compaign that you have done is to be on Facebook. You can't even afford to pay a frontpage advert on Nairaland?SMH.

My point is simple, if this is not a scam, then let's see efforts that are more believable.
And the fact that an applicant has to pay to participate in your fair makes it look even more questionable. Why can't the payment be after the fair, when an employer has shown interest?
What lies in stock for them after the fair if they're not chosen? A refund or what?
And pls, show me that employer who so needs your fair to get what he wants especially when some of the companies you claim are your media partners/exhibitors/sponsors have recruitment agencies that handle what your fair is offering them.

I just feel that people shouldn't take advantage of other people's situation to exploit them.

The man whose picture you have created must be as irresponsible as they come. Unfortunately, you don't know.
And, have you considered your last number, (No.11), critically. I think you shot yourself in the leg there.

Anyway, no matter how legal times have made cheating look, it is wrong and totally unacceptable.

Adejoro74: See! The Yoruba hate OBJ because he did not behave like a typical Yorubaman: grab everything for the Yoruba like Awo did after the war.
If Obj had given them everything to the detriment of other groups, he would have been a ''good'' Yoruba man.

As much as I hate to venture into matters like this, one thing is clear here. That your summation of what the Alaafin said is totally wrong. Being a traditional ruler from the South-West, it should be basic for you to understand that his first interest should be his subjects.

Be that as it may, my question is, did OBJ deny the South-Westerners their entitlements? And if he did, was it on a fair ground? Wasn't it a witch-hunt of members of non-party affiliation?

What we should preach about is fairness, justice, respect for others irrespective of their tribe, religion, social status etc.
It's really unfortunate that the older we get in this country, the pettier our sense of reasoning/argument and our views about the other person. Wake up people, and look beyond your nose!

I'm with both of you, poster & chuk4liv, on this.
Even before the "offering bag" got to the governors, I questioned the economic worth of the win that they had to get cash, land and National awards for.
I'm not against rewarding them but the extent to which it has gone. What about playing for National pride? Isn't that what we should be taught?
It has gone political and totally out of hand especially since all states' governors are scrambling to have their name in the "register". It is really funny and I find it totally embarassing.
I now get worried for tomorrow because fighting to be in the National team might be like vying for a political office

And to even think that in the midst of all these, there are more pressing issue! SMH

The wedding was done in Nigeria from the pictures posted...even Traditional marriage. nothing secret if you ask me. you can see that many people attended the wedding ceremony. Our journalists are just lazy.

Exactly my thought!
