k2039: Côte d’Ivoire ![]() You are seriously cracking my ribs with your worries! Worry not, we've taken note! |
Literature preserves the tool used in linguistics, without which it will be impossible to study language - since it provides ready apparatus which forms the basis, or kicks into motion the realisation of basic theories that secure the importance of language study (linguistics). |
Really nice! I love her shoes! |
seedord247: ^^^ Mr they are not asking you for your CVThank you for that! He almost got me pissed off. |
What sort of rubbish is this? ![]() |
Leila of course! Isn't it obvious? |

Stoorryy! Stoooorrryyy! Story Teller! ![]() |
Point of correction Mr. President: Marriage without consent is always subject to nullity! How does this man reason? ![]() I'm not a fervent preacher of disintegration, but believe me, if that's what will put an end to the incessant killing in the north and stop you, GEJ, from always spitting rubbish, then let's go there! Disintegration is neither good nor bad but the reasons for it. GEJ, pleeaz! ![]() |

However simple this piece of advice seems to be easily understood, many offenders(both men and women) will still find it difficult to comprehend especially since they don't see how worthless it is to be indecently dressed. |
The way not to go SMH. |
Wow! Can't believe it wasthe first thing I did today. And I actually finished the whole piece! @poster, honestly, I had a good read! Thumbs up! |
I'm not a fan of cheating partners but didn't he make the statement a while ago that he was single again? Or did he come afterwards to say he was dating either of them? Except that they, of their own free will, decided to grace his bed. ![]() Anyone who feels cheated knows where the door is. And if Rihanna has any atom of self-respect left in her, she knows what to do. As for the Karrueche chick, only God knows if she has ever had a say. Smh. |
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button |
At least, crowning thieves at the Silverbird Awards has finally paid off. ![]() |
pro01: Poverty debases, dehumanises, disfigures and disgraces a person - stripping you of all self-esteem and dignity. No wonder Nigeria is a place where people insist on making money at all costs and in every way possible, because without money, if anything happens, you are finished. I'm agonised that Ngozi Nwosu even had to beg publicly for a 'mere' N6m to undergo treatment. An actress as distinguished and beloved as she is - a pioneer of modern Nollywood - certainly deserves better. Yet we hear of rats like Chika Ike or Tonto Dike or whatever when they 'acquire' N10m SUV, or N30m apartment in Lekki, or N4m handbags. Is this money made from the same Nollywood? Or from prostitution? It is truly heartbreaking. You've just said it all! When I watched the episode of "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" of 2 Sundays ago where she was being played for to raise just 6m naira, I knew that that thing called Nollywood must be some big joke. I was just embarassed on their behalf. How could they have let it even get to that show instead of saving the poor woman all of that publicity! Even as students, we could raise the cost of surgery of over 2m for one of our mates within a month by putting together 1k each, how much more people like Genevieve, Omotola and their likes! They may not be as observant to notice that this says a lot about them. |
REMMEI: And some dimwitted mofos are liking thisSo Nigeria is doomed because that comment got liked by a few? ![]() |
1. The gari talk, I find annoying and unnecessary. Maybe it provided some kind of a comic relief but I think, It's been overflogged. 2. The "first to comment" epidermic is totally childish. I think it has got to the point whr the first few comments in some threads are usually just for the heck of it. They hardly have any meaningful message to pass. 3. The "how-this-made-it-to-the-frontage"comment. I feel that since NL caters for the needs of users of different tastes, any thread can make it to the frontpage. For me, It's not an issue. |
I was just chatting about this topic a few minutes ago. My opinion, nothing special! It's just a change in the calender that people liken to the beginning of a new world. ![]() And down her in my dear country, it becomes an opportunity to dish out another round of drama |
Will alwz love this chic and her songs! She has such a lovely, calm and peaceful voice. Happy for her. Congrats! |
FXKing2012: The proofs are there for everyone to see.Not intending to derail this thread but I haven't seen the proofs to say Rochas is better except for his consistent effort in making decisions that will create more problems for the person who will succeed him and Imolites in future. Who funds road constructions 100% with federal allocations? I hope people will weigh his administration more critically and see that Rochas is full of sh*t! |
alj harem: what of Yaraslow used on Yara'duaExactly! OBJ got called all sorts of names; was being associated facially with non-existing animals just to make fun of his looks that he had no business in creating! How much more GEJ who has been nothing but a big disgrace to many Nigerians who voted him in. |
Sincere 9gerian: You wrote:As long as this thread is concerned my friend, Berem is my spokesperson. And believe me I am not as deluded as you are. One thing that you might not have considered is that it is an insult to tell me, a Nigerian, that the hardship i face and feel every goddamn day in this country is termed untrue to you. I don't know what part of the country you stay in but I can tell you that you most definitely are not representing the majority! You just can't be! Not with your hyper-faluted claims about GEJ's achievements! And if I may ask, what do you call achievements? Cos all I can see in your posts are regular use of "WILL"s and "IS GOING TO"s. So, you've adjusted the meaning of achievements to be things that are yet to be done? "Sincere" or delusional Nigerian, people are so hard up that they're scared that there won't be able to put food on the table the next meal time. You might claim that hardship didn't start with the GEJ administration but I will tell that no matter how true that is, he, President Jonathan Goodluck himself has more than tripled it. Deal with it, GEJ is a disappointment! It doesn't matter how much achievements you import from your dreams to make him look good. And one more thing pls, you and other sychophants or supporters, whatever you call yourselves, get this fact; GEJ has insulted Nigerians in more ways than they can ever insult him. Not just in his speech, as the case with Nigerians, but also in his numerous actions. |
Nice pix! |
