Hello people.

I am thinking of getting a Toyota Camry, 2010/11(muscle)

Just not sure whether to purchase via a dealership locally or buy directly from one of these auctions and ship myself. I have never done this before. This will be my first car as well.

Macemy:
Thinking the same thing with you angry grin.. although not my first car .........

Let's talk here, I can help out.

Always confused and assuming

Remember lateefat101 and truthbetold30 you said they were legalwealth on https://www.nairaland.com/5182338/beware-fradulent-mechanics/8

You all ended saying it is not legalwealth; my friend has turned to you people's nightmare.

For your information and to help your confused lives, I am not legalwealth but his friend.

I joined this forum January this year.

You joined from the abroad to weigh in on the issue of the ES 350 you bought and spoilt.
Not everyone has short memory like you...

What I'm saying is, people have been pre-ordering vehicles long before you joined nairaland. Phemmy and a lot of others I can't even remember. They have been doing so without cross referencing people that started first. So, that first post of yours mentioning amdman discovering a blue ocean or whatnot is just you trying to spark unnecessary awareness and bringing a host of clueless gays to this thread. That's exactly why I said it is too low even for you. Let everybody dey his dey as it is a deying thing. I may decide to start importing tomorrow, does it mean it's because saw someone do it first?

Are you see what ayam saw?

No airbag deployed. If you care for the vin, all you could have done is ask. I am the importer and will happily give you.

Asper association you have formed abi...

By the way, why is your (importer) asking price more than the asking price of Aaronson (middleman)?

Car Talk / Re: How Importers Of Cars Should Reduce Their Loss by timifakay(m): 11:55pm On Sep 15, 2019
aspiring44:

Overtime, some importers use to blame agent for theft /loss in their vehicles.

I used to have one importer who told me that if its catalyst is removed he will hold me responsible . I was like why should I be responsible ?

The thing is most of these loss/theft does happened at different port berth especially cotonou where vessel spend two days or a day before coming to Nigeria.

Recently , a job was given to by an importer - Lexus ES 350 and it was a surprised that the censor key was stolen before it gets to our . I have to get someone from ladipo to do the programming and coding for another key . So from what I gathered is that whenever our vessels berth at Cotonou is always a field for them to prey on vehicles and out of ten Lexus , they will steal 8 keys. So bad:

Ironically , Grimaldi port at mile 2 witnessed a strange occurrence that two of their drivers were caught with 20 censor key. Pronto ,they were arrested .

In essence , an importer may just be lucky that not got missing in the vehicle. Its really bad for importers to be experiencing loss all the time.

What I do most at times is to give a tip to the security guard to put a close eye on the car I am expecting when the vessel must have been discharged and he will send the picture of the vehicle to me , from there I will know that the vehicle has not been tampered with.

Ghenghen...
Once I hear car has been moved to Mile 2 or that car is shipping with Sallaum, I know there'll be extra expense...
The most recent thing is windscreen that was broken while wiper was being removed...

Your answers could be of much help to me, tnk u

ODO- Odometer (total distance traveled) you should be more concerned about the MIL... the orange light
