I got my Visa today. I am thankful to you all, God and your suggestions have made it possible. Is anyone going to University of Hertfordshire? Thats my destination, if there is anyone going that way I will be glad to know. We can arrange accommodation together. I am a guy, though. I know my way around London but not Hertfordshire. I will be looking forward to hear from you guys. |
I just received an email for collection, I will be on my way in few minutes from now. I'l keep u guys posted. Thank you |
TobyAn:I will wait till 12pm, if nothing comes through l will have to go today. |
Urgent advise please I paid for priority I submitted online on the 25th August 2016 I was interviewed last week Monday 29th 2016 Got a decision mail form Sheffield on Sat 3th Sept 2016 Got another email on the 5th Sept 2016 from TLS Uk that ''your documents and the decision will be sent back to either the UK Visa Application Centre where you applied, where we will contact you by email over the next few days to collect them, or if you are using the courier return service, will be sent directly back to the address you provided.'' Today is 7th, am still yet to get a pick-up message or mail from VFS Ikeja that I can come to pick up my Visa. Please guys is it sensible for me to go there? Or do I still wait. My programme starts in few days from now. |
Onyi04:If that is the case, you should inform them at VAC reception immediately you arrive for your appointment. |
fizzile:I was told at VFS office that it is on the visa4u website. But I didt see it when I applied. That was why I had to pay for it. |
umarwy:I believe I am fine with the rate, I calculated 430 to a pound. I applied online on the 25th August and the rate was favourable on that day at 427, and also today, that I went for my appointment it is even lower than the day I applied online. So for that I should be fine. |
fizzile:I never heard of it, until today. It is a 9 page document. |
TobyAn:Thank you. |
I finally submited and had my interview done today. Thank you for all your inputs. I forgot to submit my oanda sheet and passport photograph, I hope this will not be used against me. I want to advise anyone who is planning to submit his/herapplication should remember to print self assessment form. I didt go with mine because I didt see it on the application website when I was filling my application. I had to pay 21naira per page at the teleperformance centre in Ikj. |
Hello house Please any one with testimony regarding submitting their application when the rate is a bit on the high side on completion of 28days? I have been keeping my funds for more than 3 months and I just got my CAS yesterday but unfortunately the rate is no more favourable. I calculated 430 when keeping the fund and now its 434.6. Your testimony will go a long way. Thank you. |
fizzile:Thank you |
When completing the online form on Visa4UK website, there is place asking question about accommodation address. Is it advisable to use school address if one is planning to tell them at the interview that one will be staying at school accommodation? Although, I plan to get off campus accommodation anyway, but for the purpose of completing the form and passing the interview I am thinking it will be okay to be consistent on that. Any opinion on this point? |
chuksbenin:Thank you very much @ chuksbenin |
MrsDaniels:I paid part payment of 6250 pounds and the remaining is added to the maintenance money in my account. |
Yesterday wasn't a funny day for me at all. If my blood pressure was checked it will be as high as the heavens. Anyway, I got some respite after Naira took a upward path this morning. I got my CAS today, my maintenance money was calculated based on N430 to a pound. And I also plan to pay for the NHS surcharge, priority visa fee from that same balance. My question goes to the forecasters in the house, please do you think naira could be at 429 tomorrow? When the money was lodged it never crossed my mind it will go beyond 405. Please is it the final balance that will be used or other balances in the statement? Will they check my account to see if the money is intact? Thank you |
Thank you. chuksbenin: |
Hello guys, I am presently in shock as result of the giant downward path Naira has embarked on. I have kept maintenance money in my account for more than 3 months now. Each time my 28 days counting is about to complete the Naira will slide further. Last Friday was the latest one, from N419 it moved downward to N449 and now N445. At this point, my school resumes on 26th Sept I just have to apply now. Please I will like to know if there is anyone who has experienced this situation before and applied like that. Please share your experience with me here. Thank you. |
Hello guys, In addition to the Bank Statement, do I need to add any other letter from the bank? i.e.reference letter. Your response will be highly appreciated. Thank you |
