Samsung s8 is cool and redmi note 7 is also cool,
you can spend your money as you like but listen to my humble advise
if you know you are very careful with phones or you can afford 50k for screen replacement go for s8 , s8 is very slippery and fragile when you compare it with redmi note 7. most Samsung user will user their phone without pouch, since it will hide it beauty and make it more bulky.
to me I think new is more better than used, most of the used Samsung that are offered for sale are refurbished. most s8 sold for 97k at jumia are refurbished , check the product description, and I most tell you, refurbished phone is out of it
if your are considering the brand name, go for Samsung
if your are considering the battery life go for redmi
durability, go for redmi
performance and speed, go for redmi
price, go for redmi , redmi note 7 4gbram ,64gb rom is 66k while s8 refurbished is 97 on jumia
screen quality go for Samsung, because Samsung is AMOLED display while is fhd+ lcd screen.
camera, go for redmi
sound quality go for redmi.
if it is Samsung you want just go for new a30 or a50 instead of used phone that may not last

tecno did a great job, the AMOLED display, the front flash for cool night pictures and the inscreen finger print scanner is something we should applaud tecno for , but I think the most pleasing features phone should have is good processor, ram and excellent ram management, good interface , lasting battery, reliable after sales service interms of repair and software fixing and updates, updated features and technology, durability and so on , yea we have tecno that pack all these features but they are in remnant , even if they have these features , they depreciate within a short period of time , the camera quality reduces, the screen reduces quality , it lack the capacity to stand the test of time, yea ask a honest user who has knowledge about gadget, I am not castigating the phone at least the AMOLED and inscreen is a welcoming idea , but the phone is to expensive considering the spec , it should be sold for 58- 65k
80k will get you a good phone that is far more preferable to phatom 9
1 left tecno for infinix 4years ago cus I felt infinix offers better gagdget than tecno , I was impressed by hot 4, l upgraded to hot 6pro thinking infinix will offer more, but infinix package a trash and call it hot 6 pro it was not an upgrade at all, now I am using xiaomi which is my best Android fone till now. u can use your money to buy anything you like . but I will advise to drop tecno for brands like Huawei, oppo, Samsung,redmi, Lenovo, Nokia etc.

you can get up too 6 or 7 fonts without changing region go to the theme app type "font'' in search box 3 different font will come out click more to c others then select the font you like

you can use any prefer settings base on the number of apps that will notify you and how you want your phone to look. you can shitf it up down left or right. any how you want it

actually I am with the 4gb ram variant, this is my honest review
1. I have not experienced any ads disturbance
2. the camera is nice with or without gcam, it pictures may not appear cripsy on the note 7 screen expecially to gadgets users who have experience brilliant screen offered by Samsungs, iPhones and other fhd AMOLED screen produced by other smart phone companies, but I assure u redmi produce nice and detailed pictures, you can prove my right by using rn7 take pics , send it to AMOLED screen phone and compare the pics on rn7 and the AMOLED screen display, say Samsung Galaxy s 6. this is one reason why some guys concluded that phones like A30 and A20 is preferable to rn7, 1 am not relegating rn7 screen , it should be one of the best lcd display around,yeah , but AMOLED display will always offer more
3. lasting battery life
4. nice build it looks solid ,rigid and presentable
5. no overheating at all even while charging or gaming
6. it charge quickly even with the inbox chager
7. no lag at all even with sophisticated games, to me this is the rn7 selling point don't forget I have the 4gb ram variant ,ram management is excellent. I mean it, no lag at all.
8. it respond speedily even more than some flagships
9. the sound quality is excellent
10. some guys are complaining about rn7 proximity sensor , but it works exccellently on my rn7

11. you can change fonts, change fonts size , use decent gesture that third parties my not understand until you teach them.


these are the cons
1. notification like facebook, whatapps , telegram, gmail, sms disappear very fast, say 2 or 3 sec after receiving notifications . it is only alarm, clock, network bars, data connection indicator and data usage indicator you will c on the notification bar. but their is a third party app that will give absolute solution to this that is what I am currently using
2. flash light is 2 led, not bright but it is manageable.
3. it is expensive but not too expensive
4. hybrid Sim slot , you will forgone memory card for Sim card or vice versa. you can use the two Sim and memory card using Sim adapter or using tricks on YouTube
my conclusion
rn7 is not an over hyped phone, it has flaws but I can bodly say it far more preferable than some so called high end phone. but redmi should have added AMOLED display to kill it all .
kudos to redmi (rn7 is the mid-range king)
infinix , tecno , c you when you are ready ok.

Don't worry about Sim slot check youtube for tricks to use 2 Sims and it works perfectively you can aslo use Sim adaptor

my guy rn7 is a beast , God !!!see phone everything is perfect bye bey to infinix, infinix collected my 46k and gave me crappy hot 6 pro. make den no worry I am selling it off tomorrow. thou infinix is durable I used hot 4 for 2year and hot 6 pro a year + without single fault. kodus to infinix for durability I hope redmi is durable too. but interms of performance redmi kill infinix, arrange the hin burial.
cool ram management,good camera , no lag , good battery life, fast charging , brilliant display quality, nice design, exccellent sound system (but music stop whenrver you close music app). excellent file manager not like the stupid hot 6 pro file manager, to mention but few. the only issue is that the flash light is not so bright, but it is ok to an appreciable extent,no ads and my proximity sensor is working fine. infact other brand should learn from xiaomi, especially Tecno,Gionee,infinix and other over q brand that are cheating us with their name without spectacular offer. for now I will stay with redmi but latter when ever infinix is ready, I go show . peace

Guys am i the only one noticing proximity sensor not working on my redmi note 7.. especially when i making WhatsApp calls and i bring the phone closer to my ear.. the screen doesn't go blind..and it makes my ear to accidentally press things on the phone while on call.. mind you i just got this device 3days ago.. so how do i go about it to fix this pls

Guys, I got my rn7 4gb ram today it is very cool, I will advise you to go for redmi, Samsung is also cool but you will like the redmi for sure. My fear at first is how to get the phone accessories and parts in case of damages. I am glad to announce to you that redmi has come to stay in Nigeria I got the phone from a shop in lageree ile ife osun state, you can also get any redmi from Dove in OAU Ile-ilfe, you can get the phone in ilesha, osogbo, ado, Ibadan, akure and other major dealer in south west. You don't need to Oder online. You will even c the redmi banner at ade crystal in ile ife osun state. The performance is ok the phone was not over hyped at all, But I think Samsung amoled screen will let you go for a30. A30 is cool, rn7 is cool you can go for any of the two. But I will advise you to go for redmi

nah lie infinix failed the update brought no improvement, no font changing option, bad camera , it still brings a lot camera noise at low light condition ,poor Ram management, phone still lag, in short hot 6 pro is a waste of money
